It is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever been. Food is also very nice nice and if more options can be added it will certainly levitate the experience. I would love to visit again.

Stayed for couple of days with a bunch of friends. The entire property is beautiful and has lovely surroundings. Highly walkable and one can explore Kookal on foot. The food was quite homely and delicious. The caretaker ensured that all are needs were met.

A stay here is not just a vacation, it’s a soulful experience, one that lingers in your heart long after you’ve left. If you’re seeking peace, beauty, and a touch of magic, this cottage in Kodaikanal is the place to be. Ramdev is an excellent host. Also don’t miss the cats ( Grumpy, Tina & Tom) They also provide excellent homely food. Overall a very beautiful cottage in the midst of pear orchard.

Very beautiful and serene spot, the place is nestled amidst vast greenery in the mountains. You can easily spend a few hours exploring the place itself ( there is a waterfall within the property and variety of birds for bird watching). The views from the property are amazing, the common dining area also has a great collection of books. Although there is no cell reception, the place has an extensive Wi-Fi connectivity. The host is super helpful and provided us with transport options at a reasonable rate. Food served is very tasty and homely. The room had a warm cosy vibe :)

Nice getaway, the place is well nestled in midst of natural slopes. Amazing view as well. I would invest additional time in the cottage as well. Vishnu was great with his cooking, went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time.

Excellent location and picturesque home. Lots of space to walk around. Beautiful flowers and plants around entire property. The inside of the house is very well decorated. Loved the stay and wished we could stay little bit longer. Wishing all the best to maintain the property.

This place was really beautiful and same as shown in pictures. Amazing view and surrounding. Really amazing staff and very responsive. only thing I didn't like is the way to this place.. it was a headache to drive car on the roads and to even reach to this place in first place but when we reached there, it was all worth it. we took our doggo also with us and this place really good for pets as well. my doggo loved it there.

I had an absolutely wonderful, stay at this peaceful and calm retreat. The surroundings were serene-perfect for unwinding and disconnecting. What truly made the experience special, though, were the incredible home-cooked meals. Every dish was full of flavour and clearly made with love. A huge thank you to the lovely ladies who prepared the meals-they were not only amazing cooks, but also incredibly polite, warm, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made me feel completely at home. Overall, I enjoyed every bit of my stay.

Amazing place for a peaceful getaway. Perfect to just relax and unwind. No need to step out for local sightseeing as the views from the stay was much more amazing. Great food as well. Approach road was a bit damaged due to recent rains ( and being repaired as told to us by the host). Looking forward to visit again.

Beautiful surroundings and cosy stay. The host, the manager, and the caretaker were all helpful and responsive, and ensured that our stay was memorable. Lots of extra love to the pet dogs they have there - so loving and cuddly. Would definitely recommend.

Most peaceful and serene property with a perfect view of the forest range, misty mountains and kookal lake just around. From tasty and hygienic food to the property cleanliness, everything was perfect. Mr Mani (the caretaker) and his family served as well and tried their best to serve us with whatever we asked for. Trust me, we roam around nearby places but could not see a better property than this. And before leaving the property to our home back, we already decided to visit again, it was that good. Thanks Mr Varghese for hosting us and we appreciate how you are maintaining this property and trying your best to give a perfect staycation for your guests. We’ll see you again very soon
