Staying in Kerstin's house is like living in a Swedish magazine photo spread. Everything is so lovely and so perfectly Swedish. We had a restful stay, listening to the crickets and cooking our own meals and admiring the flowers and fields and old churches. Kerstin was a very friendly host and communicated well. Would definitely recommend.

Vi var to voksne og to barn som hadde tre deilige netter i det koselige lille huset til Elin. Det var lett å finne fram og alle instruksjoner var tydelig forklart, og Elin svarte raskt og var veldig hjelpsom. Området er stille og rolig, og det var veldig idyllisk med åpen peis. I tillegg var det helt supert med ulike brettspill for hele familien. Vi prøvde villmarksbadet og det var absolutt verdt innsatsen! Særlig barna syntes det var spennende. Ellers er det vel verdt en tur til den lille butikken som ligger noen minutter unna, der var det veldig hyggelige ansatte og overraskende godt utvalg. Takk for oss, vi kommer veldig gjerne igjen!

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wir wurden super nett willkommen geheißen und haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht ist einfach nur wunderschön. Perfekt zum entspannen und baden gehen. Nirgendwo habe wir besser geschlafen.

We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!

Välplanerad och jättemysig stuga i närheten av sjön. Trädgården hade gott om plats för aktiviteter för barnen. Henrik var mycket lättillgänglig när vi hade frågor om vägbeskrivning och annat. Vi var där över en helg men hade gärna stannat längre!

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub im Haus von Linnea. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Die Lage ist toll, direkt am See, sehr ruhig, man ist wirklich abgeschottet und hat seine Ruhe. Wir waren viel mit den zwei kleinen Booten auf dem See unterwegs und haben die Sonne im Garten genossen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus! Wir haben uns hier wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt, sowohl im Haus als auch in der herrlichen Umgebung. Wir waren mit dem Boot draußen auf dem See und konnten sogar Fische fangen, was ein echtes Highlight war. Außerdem haben wir schöne Ausflüge in die Umgebung gemacht und jede Nacht wunderbar geschlafen. Die frischen Eier von den Hühnern waren großartig, und wir haben es sehr genossen, Zeit mit den Katzen, Hund Ronja, den Hühnern und natürlich deinen lieben Kühen zu verbringen. Die liebevollen Kleinigkeiten im und um das Haus haben uns besonders gefallen, und als kleines Extra haben wir sogar einen Geocache in der Nähe gefunden. Dank der warmen Temperaturen haben wir uns auch getraut, schwimmen zu gehen! Vor allem konnten wir uns vollkommen erholen und fühlen uns jetzt wunderbar entspannt. Vi var oppe og fuske så bolig lå perfekt da vores både lå 150 meter fra hytten vi brugte hytten til fælles spisning og lidt hygge om aften Jeg har spurgt Johan om en del ting og har fået svar inde for et par minutter hver han er er en super vært Eneste minus var at døre skal stå åben under mad lavning pga røgalarm
