Phenomenal place to stay!! More than we expected. If looking for a getaway and do some skiing this is the place to stay. Nancy was so helpful and always checked in on us to make sure we were good. If staying in the winter months for some skiing, definitely make sure you are in a 4WD.

My family and I enjoyed this quiet mountain get away!! Definitely the best choice for the kids first time up in the mountains!! Will for sure return again!!

We absolutely loved our stay on the farm! Our boys (5 and 7) were entertained from sun up to sun down and loved being able to explore the property! They loved hanging with the animals, the zip lines, trampoline, pickleball, and cooling off in the river!

we enjoyed our stay at Blue Haven immensely. It was in the perfect spot for a relaxing stay for us and our fur baby, with a short sprint to Bristol Motor Speedway for the races. Hope to come back soon!

Blas was super responsive and very friendly and helpful. The property was easy to find and close to all that Banner Elk and the surrounding area has to offer. It has a great front porch for hanging out and has great views. Very cute interior with a pool table and games in the basement. I highly recommend this cabin.

We had such an enjoyable stay at the treehouse getaway. The owners of the Airbnb thought about every little detail to help your time away go smoothly and enjoyable. From superior bedding to little things like oversize towels for the hot tub and robes to wear afterwards as well as a towel warmer. It was nice to have a fully stocked coffee bar in the morning. The string lights were wonderful and the fire pit was right on time! For a small space this Airbnb seemed really big, they really utilized every inch of space in order to maximize your stay. I had two teenage girls with me and they loved the loft area with the rope area to sit and relax and then they had a bed with a trundle that pulled out underneath the loft space. They had their own little area., plus they’re own bathroom, which is really important for teenage girls lol! I love the seating areas outside and the two boho swings on the bottom deck. It was just a fabulous stay, peaceful but also close to restaurants, etc!

The Appalachian A-frame was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. Really enjoyed the comfy living space and the hot tub was a great bonus!

Beautiful surroundings, a creek rushing by and plenty of decks to appreciate it! We wanted for nothing with plenty of linens and a full kitchen. Tread carefully on the rocky, uneven walk to the hot tub, especially if it's wet!

Great place! Loved the house. Kitchen has everything you could ever need. Hot tub is a nice perk. Will definitely stay again.

We loved our winter stay here. Located just minutes away from Beech Mountain (and only a few more to Sugar), this large and spacious home was the perfect retreat for our snow sports vacation. The beds are soft and comfortable, with quality sheets, and the towels were luxurious and smelled so fresh. The weather heater takes no time at all to heat, and the hot tub was the perfect end to each day. Thank you Ryan and Shannon for a seamless stay.

We loved the peace and quiet and yet the cabin was close to town. It had everything we needed with some extra touches which made it feel like home. I highly recommend stay at Brenda's Chicken Coop. She and her husband were wonderful hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at Husky Hideaway! Our kids and dogs loved playing outside while we relaxed on the porch. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved having their own space in the loft! The home is in a great location that feels private but safe and is just a short trip to so many fun activities and restaurants. This is a great place for a relaxing family retreat.

I loved this little cabin, and Linda was the sweetest host. I was in an accident a week prior and dealing with rental car issues and she offered to let me reschedule (I didn't have to). The cabin is in a beautiful spot and very cozy. Being able to bring my dogs made life a lot easier, and I greatly appreciate Linda's hospitality and kindness after checkout.

We went for the rustic cabin experience and were pleasantly surprised by a heated toilet seat. With the devastating hurricane prior to our stay, Patricia graciously offered us a no charge cancellation. We appreciated the offer and constant updates and communication.

Perfect stay!! Slightly tricky at night— look for the driveways! But the house was immaculately spotless, the towels were the gushy soft of expensive hotel dreams and the hot tub was spotless and hot! The wood interior is stunning and the peacefulness was wonderful while being just a quick drive to banner elk or newland. We even saw three wild turkeys in the yard which my three year olds loved! We’ll be back!

This place is very secluded, it’s just as the pictured online. The view from porch is amazing. We definitely recommend this home away from home to everyone.

This was the perfect place to stay on my trip to meet up with my sister. She was camping nearby and I got this cabin. The day before I was asked if I wanted a pack n play because I was bringing my baby and of course I said yes because it would be one less thing to pack. We had a long travel day and when we checked in I saw they set up the pack n play and put sheets on it for me! It was such a nice gesture and I felt it was so sweet. They also put out snacks for us and le croix in the fridge for me - it was like they knew us! The location was beautiful. From the porch we could hear the river, birds chirping, and the occasional train passing. We took their recommendation to go to natural tunnel park which was so fun and the kids loved it! I would definitely stay here again! Thank you guys!

Lovely cabin! This cabin is as pictured inside, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. It was VERY clean. Driving up it was not quite what we pictured (seemed more secluded in the pics), but it ended up working out great to be so close to the main road, and it is far enough that there was not much traffic. Kitchen was well-stocked with plates and bowls and pans and silverware and glasses/mugs, we were only wishing there was a larger coffee maker (only enough for 2 mugs at a time with the pot). Love the pool table and the games in the kids room. We initially did not realize that the only way to access the loft area above one bedroom was by pull-down stairs (like an attic), but maybe we missed that in the description. Overall it was a really lovely place, the hot tub was great, and we appreciated the cleanliness and decor. Would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay here again.

I can’t say enough about the outstanding hospitality of Dennis during our stay. The cabin was clean, well furnished and perfect for what we needed. We will absolutely stay here again on future trips.

Darren was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in cabin 3, and it was brand new and clean. Family stayed at a home on the lake and we suggested that they stay at Darren’s place next time down. Can’t beat the price or amenities. Definitely suggest! Just make sure you pull up directions in town since there’s little service, but once there, the wifi is great!
