Our best winter (Christmas trip) yet! My family & I have been spending Christmas week in Tahoe for years and this home is the first property that we want to come back to again! It is a mixture of the listing is a home and has all the comforts of an actual home. The location is amazing for skiing, dinning, shopping and still being walkable to "backcountry" trails. Lel is an amazing host and her heart to serve is what makes staying there that much better. She really took care of us for some of our winter adventures! As an Airbnb host myself, Lel's place (including her as a host) is the full package!

We had a wonderful stay. We went for our honeymoon and the place was just as beautiful as the pictures. Everything was clean and Tom and Margie were very responsive to any questions we had. I highly recommend this location.

Perfect place for a ski week! Sarah was very responsive and attentive, and the cabin was private and well-maintained. Could not have asked for a better location.

This place was much bigger than we needed but it allowed pets and that was our main criteria so we could have a long weekend as a family. That said, the place was amazing!! Exactly as pictured and no surprises. Everything was clean but more importantly, everything was comfortable....the upstairs bed had me asleep in minutes. With so many places to sleep, we talked about inviting extended family back some time to skiing at Palisades and staying here... it would be PERFECT! Neighbors are also so very friendly and awesome. Caterina was checking in to make sure we were okay and very responsive to me. Money well spent for a much needed get away to the mountains!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The gorgeous views were absolutely breathtaking, and the location couldn’t be better—super close to the ski slopes while still feeling private and peaceful. The house had everything we needed, making it a comfortable and seamless getaway. One small note—the air from the heater was quite dry, so I’d recommend bringing a small humidifier or using the old trick of placing a pot of water on the stove to add some moisture. Other than that, this place was perfect—the views and location are truly stellar! Would absolutely stay here again.

Loved our stay here! Extremely cozy and clean modern cabin with everything we needed. Location was great. We took many walks to hang at Kings Beach, grab some ice cream, check out the little shops, and grab a beer and pizza at White Caps (amazing pizza!). Was also a short drive to the fire look out for an amazing view of the whole area and access to other restaurants and beautiful spots in North Lake Tahoe. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage! JP and Tracy left us some light snacks and dog treats for our pup. It was such a warm welcoming! The cottage couldn't be a better location, it was exactly what we needed for a quick ski trip.

You really can't beat this location. Any closer to the lake and you would be on a houseboat. The beach is beautiful, just steps from the front door. It is also just a few minutes from great restaurants and King's Beach. The cabin is cozy and true to the photos. I wish the interior/furniture/kitchen was updated, but the rooms were nice and big and the beds were comfortable. It was awesome to have a sauna with a view of the lake too. The fireplace is nice and helps keep the place warm (tip use the fireplace fan) - we were lucky and it snowed while we were there. We had a question about the heater and someone quickly came over. Very nice and helpful. We will be back. 5/5 recommend!

Clean, and cozy in a compact footprint. Great location…close to bike path and walk across the street to the lake. Perfect for us with a couple exceptions…no A/C, which was advertised in the description, however the cabin faced the sun during the day and acted like a greenhouse during the day, some of the pillows were stinky, counter space in kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom were very limited. Great for our family of 4, would likely stay here again.

We love staying here. The house is comfortable and well equipped. There's good food and the lake/beach within walking distance. The hosts are responsive, helpful, and friendly.

This is a great home base to stay and do winter activities with kids. There's a beachside park in walking distance, along with plenty of food options and a bus stop that takes you all around Tahoe including to Northstar. My toddler loved the backyard in the snow. All the appliances worked, the heater kept the whole house evenly heated, everything was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay with young kids. Easy walk to the gondola in ski gear during naps and short walk to the beach with a playground. Ideally located. Comfortable beds and clean all around. Great layout for the 4 of us. Would stay here again!

We had a great experience all the way around. The location is great. Right on the bike trail and super close to the lake. Can ride bikes on the trail all the way to Meeks Bay if you want or into Tahoe city. The housekeeping team did a great job getting the unit ready for us. We had a couple of questions during our stay and Emily was available to help via phone late on a Friday afternoon and on a Saturday AM. I would highly recommend.
