Amazing stay for a 30th family celebration. The sun was shining so we spent most our time at the house on the terrace! Perfect location with the surrounding scenery. We had a slight issue with the hot tub room, due to previous guests. But this was quickly resolved! Can’t fault the hosts or the house. Would definitely love to return for another celebration in the future one day! Thanks again

We found the place full of charm and character. It is very neat. It suited our needs as a group of chaps passing through the area. But it would be a great base to explore the Lakes from.

A fantastic little house in a stunning location. We were in Coniston for a wedding in The Coppermines and the house was perfectly located, just a short stroll into the town. Communication and instructions were great. We did drive too far up the hill which wasn't fun, but had we watched the video as instructed we'd absolutely have avoided that (oops). We enjoyed chip shop chips in the lovely garden. Highly recommend!

Elizabeth was very responsive and replied all our questions very fast. It was easy to communicate.We arrived late in the evening and she left for us a good coffee,a bottle of Prosecco,bread, milk and fresh organic eggs. It was great to find it after a long day of driving. It helped us with the dinner and the breakfast next day.the house is very beautifully designed,the kitchen had everything you can need to prepare meals (we prepared our meal twice a day in the house, so it was important to us).the bathrooms and the linens were clean. The only thing that was missing,on my opinion, is a shampoo.Elizabeth also left a detergent and the tablets for a dishwasher. The surroundings are amazing and are in a walking distance.Thank you,Lizzie, for a great experience in your house!

A fantastic base in the heart of Bowness on Windermere to explore the area. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay we didn't have to use the car at all. A great stay thank you!

We stayed for 2 nights over the Easter holidays. The house was clean and well stocked! Keswick is walkable which was great for us. Lots of tips given prior to check in.

We spent a lovely few days at the cottage in Coniston. It is ideally situated for visiting lots of very interesting and beautiful places, Holehird Gardens and Brantwood House to name but two. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and exactly as advertised. Sue and Brad were very quick to answer any questions we had. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Swallow's Loft, in the beautiful village of Far Sawrey, for 3 nights. We absolutely loved the area and Louise's place is ideally situated. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and cosy and Louise provided everything we could need. Louise was very friendly and messaged a few times to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

This is a charming apartment, in a wonderful location right in the heart of the town. Ideal for the 4 of us. Also having a parking permit for local car parking is a great bonus for this property.

Excellent place to stay. Close enough to the town centre but still peaceful. Plenty of space and comfortable. Easy to get out into the Lakes. Shame we can't book next year!

Great apartment, perfect for what we needed. We parked outside to unpack in the 1 hour free parking spaces then took the car to the local carpark where we left it for 3 days. The apartment is in a good location.

Sharon's place is fab really good location with easy parking. if you want to explore Wasdale then it is perfect location. The flat is well set up, warm and with fab views of the fells. The lake beaches are 5 mins away by car or a bit longer by foot. The wildlife is super loads of birds. Wasdale head is a bit further and easy access to Scarfell, Great Gable and styhead pass over to Borrowdale. There is a small shop with essentials and some walking gear at Wasdale head, plus a pub with good local Ale. I can also recommend the Alpaca trekking at Wasdale Alpacas. We have loads still to explore in Wasdale so will hopefully return.

This was everything we were looking for! Super comfy, incredible location, all the amenities we needed, and the hosts were great! If you are a runner, you can get in great running right from the house. I’m sensitive to sound and with a fan going, I heard zero street noise at night. Very quiet! I would stay here again in a heart beat! Thank you!

Had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Windermere. The property was spotlessly clean and very tidy, with a welcoming atmosphere as soon as we walked in. The rooms were surprisingly spacious and thoughtfully arranged—not too cluttered, which made it easy to relax and settle in. The kitchen was particularly impressive, equipped with everything we needed and featuring high-quality appliances and utensils. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into making this a comfortable and practical home away from home. Highly recommend for a peaceful and well-equipped Lake District getaway!

We had an absolutely lovely time staying at High Swinside. Diana was an amazing host and went out of her way to make us all feel comfortable. I would highly recommend any of her cottages.

A gorgeous bolt hole for three weeks of blissful walks and peace. The private access to the lake was great for us as swimmers; easy to get home and warm up! I really liked the laundry room after our walks - could was and dry clothes really easily. Comfortable bed, kitchen perfect for self catering and relaxing sofa and tv and bath at the end of the day.

Great location and great little cottage in Portinscale. 20 min walk to Keswick. Bus stop 2 min away. Great host and great area which is why we came back for a week this time. Good place to stay long term too which we have in the past. If your in Portinscale don't forget to stop by the Farmers Arms for a pint.
