the place is clean, clean water, closer to main road. everything as in the pictures, good check in and check out times. I would recommend this for people looking for a secure hosting.

Swara ranch was extremely peaceful and beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful which made moving around and getting things really easy for us. We had such a wonderful time, I wish we could stay longer.

Great location close to the lakefront as described. Also there is Carnellys restaurant nearby. Check-in was smooth and the host was responsive. We enjoyed the brunch at the garden area. Overall good stay! Thank you.

My friends and I ushered in 2025 here. It was a really good place with amazing views of fireworks. The bonfire was always lit and the jacuzzi always hot! Not ideal for more than 4 couples though (unless you don’t mind being in each other’s space). The chef did a fantastic job! 👌

I had a family visit to the facility, and it was one of those memorable vacations. No surprises as everything worked as it's supposed to. The rooms, AC, kitchen, and Internet were all on point. The location is breathtaking from the pool, poolside relaxation, gym, and, more importantly the private access to the beach. The Ola Ola restaurant was also affordable, within the bigger compound, and on point with Swahili Cousine. You don't even have to struggle with utensils..time better spent at the beach. A place to just visit and experience the wonderful side of Kenyan Coast. Dr. FIfi was also very helpful and a great host. Kudos.

I was looking for a home away from home as I was getting ready to make life changes and Kitt's was the perfect place to regroup: green and serene. A treasured experience. 💗

Our family had a fantastic stay - the beach was so close, our kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the sunrise/playing card games at the different view points. Highly recommend!

Sam and Harriet were very great at responding and advising with local /near by restaurants. Elijah at the house assisted a lot in the checkin and providing firewood for the fire place . Absolutely brilliant! The dogs (Nusu + Teddy and their friends ) amazing add on. Thanks again.

This is a beautiful, serene space, and we truly enjoyed our time there. Waking up to the stunning views of Mt. Longonot and Lake Naivasha was a highlight, and the afternoon swims made it even more special. It's conveniently located—not too far from town and close to local attractions—yet peaceful enough if you just want to stay in and relax. There are plenty of games and activities on-site to keep you entertained. The hosts were also incredibly warm and welcoming and they actively anticipated our needs. I would definitely love to come back!

Ein Paradies direkt am langen, ruhigen Strand von Galu. Alle Wünsche werden vom Manager Stephen und seinem wunderbaren Tram von den Augen gelesen. Der Tag begann mit einem köstlichen Frühstück mit frischen Früchten, selbst gemachtem Granola, frisch gepresstem Saft uvm. Der Koch Peter hat so vielfältig und schmackhaft Seafood zubereitet, dass wir nie ins Restaurant gegangen sind. Jeder der zahlreichen „guten Geister“ hat sein Bestes gegeben, damit wir uns wie zu Hause fühlten und aufs Schönste verwöhnt wurden: ein wunderbares, hochmotiviertes und überaus diskretes Team. Fazit: 5 Sterne Service und Essen in einem wunderschönen Strandhaus: ein Paradies.

Comfortable cabin with a beautiful garden and amazing views of Mount Kenya. Really close to rock climbing, shopping centres, and restaurants in Nanyuki, The Ol Pejeta conservancy and Ngare Ndare forest where you can hike and swim in natural pools depending on the season. Great for a weekend getaway :)

Edward and Ciiku were extremely helpful,their place was clean and an absolute getaway close to the city. The staff John and Elizabeth are very diligent and helpful.John was particularly a great support to us. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay here. It was a beautiful, peaceful location which looked just like the photos. Perfect for a group of friends who wanted a relaxing weekend in stunning surrounding. Stewart and Sandy were extremely friendly and helpful - very responsive to messages and friendly on arrival.

Just what we needed! The quiet and privacy was perfect to reset and recharge. We managed to spot a white bellied go away bird in the garden.

It was everything I wanted and more. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, always available but never intrusive. The location was perfect — peaceful, convenient, and beautifully maintained. Every amenity was thoughtfully provided, and the space had a special charm that made it hard to leave. If you’re looking for a stay that combines comfort, style, and genuine hospitality, I wholeheartedly recommend Rustic Aframe. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

A great place to stay. Getting there was quite a distance from the tarmac but the host was kind enough to send us a rider to guide us to the place. A 4wd is highly recommended with good clearance because the car we used had quite some challenges with the underside being scratched on the way there...we were even lucky it hadn't rained that much but its an all weather road. The place itself is very very peaceful, fully off grid. A little pool to coom you off with a sauna adjacent to it. Only challenge were the bees, beatles, wasps and flies....but thats expected being next to the wild. An indoor outdoor experience Will definately be what you get in this place. The hosts were very very helpful especially John.

Lovely and cosy cabin in a lovely area. Ruth is a kind and helpful host. The dogs are very friendly (but not overbearing). We enjoyed lighting up the fireplace and reading books by its side as much as exploring the Lake Naivasha area (Hell's Gate National Park, boat tour over the lake, etc). The cabin is a short walk over a private driveway from the main road.

My family and I had a great stay at The Kite cottage in Watamu. Sue is a great host, clear communication from the start and great recommendations for local activities. The house staff, Wasi, Josephine, Patrick and the guard Joseph all made us feel right at home and assisted us throughout our stay. Patrick, the chef, made delicious meals for us each day and helped us source fresh seafood. The pool was refreshing in the heat and the cottage is a short walk from Garoda Beach. Tuk Tuk’s were parked nearby for trips into town. Definitely recommend the Dhow trip in the guide book. Next visit we will likely stay somewhere with air conditioning, as the heat made it difficult for the baby to sleep but definitely recommend The Kite to others visiting Watamu.

Absolutely beautiful cottage - surrounding by trees with seating so you can enjoy the monkeys jumping around in the trees. Immaculately clean and very helpful and kind staff. Less than a minute’s walk to the beach. Highly recommend!
