Kea-Kythnos : locations de vacances dans des maisons cycladiques

We had a great time staying at Athanasios and George’s place. Very good communication and great recommendation for discovering the island. The place is very private, it is a nice and easy walking distance to Chora where everything happens on the island. The place was very confortable and nicely done. Really happy with our stay.

We had a perfect stay! Though it's a one-room flat, it's very well furnished and functional to live in (and not just sleep in) - and cute. Everything was clean and seemed to be new. It's all equipped as well, you'll find everything you need to cook, a rack to dry your clothes, hairdryer, coffee machine and a wardrobe. There is a table big enough to eat inside but the terrace was our favourite spot! There you have you private space to chill, have drinks or dinner in the shade, play cards, relax. The location was great too! Only a couple minutes from Korissia and several beaches if you don't want to go far for a swim. Down the street from the flat are bars, restaurants and the mini market so you can take a stroll in the evening for dinner, drinks and a walk on the marina or pop out in the morning for breakfast (though the flat also had coffee & breakfast snacks). Though it was very hot, the flat stays cool and enjoyable day & night (there is also AC if needed). Because we arrived early, they even went through the struggle of having the room ready for us early, and allowed us to stay longer after checkout. He also bailed us out very quick when we locked ourselves out on the terrace (warning: always leave the key in the lock^^). This was an all around great stay and I can warmly recommend it :)

Pericles’ was an effortlessly charming host who always had time to a see any questions we had and share his local knowledge. He met us at the bus stop to walk us to the house, pointing out restaurants and places of interest on the way. It’s conveniently situated so you can easily walk to the lookout at the top of the hill, the entrance to the town (near the main car park) and the town hall and it’s also close to many local eateries and bars. The pictures don’t do it justice – the house was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented, the sunrises from the terrace were spectacular and you can see the stars while you’re lying in bed. So glad we decided to stay at Pericles’ place and hoping we get to visit again one day! One of those perfect Airbnb experiences where everything has been thought of by a kind and considerate host.

We stayed in studio 3, which offers the most in terms of privacy, but restricted sunlight onto the balcony area during the daytime. We didn’t use the pool which is located directly outside of studio 4 and one of the smaller studios. The studio itself in terms of cleanliness we could not fault, including the mid-week linen and towel changes. The studio is well equipped, including a dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board. We were kindly met at the port by Evangelia, we were grateful of this as we doubt we would have located the studio ourselves due to it being located in a remote area accessed by a 15-20 minute journey down a challenging, undulating dirt track which tested both the ability of our hire car, and indeed driving skills when returning back to the studio in darkness each evening. The location of the studio is in a remote area, with other properties set in the rock face which are set just up from the beach. The beach was nice, it gets busier at the weekends when there is also a charge of 25 Euros for two sun beds, a parasol, two towels and two bottles of water, there is however space on the beach if you just want to set out your beach towels, free of charge. There are no taverna’s or supermarkets located near the studio, the closest being another 15-20 minute drive back along the dirt track, we ended up doing this journey at least twice a day, once to explore the island, and again in the evenings to enable us to visit the taverna’s. All in all, the studios are well presented, and ideally located if you want to watch the sunset and enjoy a relaxing holiday away from the crowds.

the 1890 Cliff House was such a special place to stay! the interiors and design have been put together so thoughtfully. all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. and the view of the mountains is truly spectacular. the stairs up to the property is well worth it! and Mary was so communicative and helpful. highly recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment in Port Merichas, kythnos. The view of the sea was nothing short of breathtaking, making every moment feel special. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for our needs. Anna and Makis were outstanding hosts—kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, even connecting us with excellent local vendors. We arrived as guests but left as friends. We highly recommend staying here, and we can’t wait to return!

We loved the place, so cozy and comfortable, the balcony and view is to die for. Paul and Evagelia were extremely accommodating and generous with their time, even giving us a ride from the port. All around a wonderful experience

Excellent séjour passé au sein de cette magnifique maison nichée dans les collines, au calme, avec une vue magnifique. Seul point "négatif": la climatisation déjà évoquée dans précédents avis mais pas insurmontable non plus! 😉 Un tout grand merci à Polina pour sa réactivité ainsi qu'à la gentillesse de ses adorables parents, Vassylis et Mary😊. Je recommande le lieu sans hésiter!
