we had a great experience. Host was extremely helpful. Took care of all our needs. They also hand an amazing driver who showed us around the Sidemen and East bali very peacefully with Nominal prices. Talking about the place its a good place to relax along with a beautiful view and a private small pool in front of the cottage.

I chose this place for my honeymoon so I wanted it to be a memorable place. This place is definitely one of the gems in Sidemen. It looks exactly like in the photos. An extremely huge thanks to Pak Esa, Pak Komang, and the caretakers at the villa for fulfilling our requests and making sure we had a great time at Sauca Villa. We’re a bit fussy about food but they’re willing to go the extra mile for us ❤️ I would definitely come again and recommend this place to anyone

Wir haben jeden Tag sehr genossen. Das Team ist sehr engagiert und hat gute Englischkentnisse. Trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig und privat. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse ist fantastisch und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sogar ein dicker Splitter wurde mir professionell aus dem Fuß geholt als ich danach fragte. Wayan ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Hier kommt man nochmal richtig zur Ruhe und hört das Meer von den Schlafzimmern aus. Es war unsere letzte Station und wir hätten hier auch länger bleiben können. Das Haus hat eine individuelle Aufteilung was für uns und unsere Kinder sehr gut funktioniert hat. Der Parkplatz neben dem Haus ist nicht sehr belebt, aber es ist eine nette Atmosphäre wenn am frühen Abend ein paar Kinder Drachen steigen lassen. Das Meer ist meistens ruhig gewesen mit niedrigen Wellen. Die Bilder entsprechen genau der Unterkunft und es ist wirklich so schön wie es aussieht. Die Restaurants sind praktisch für den schnellen Hunger und ideal gelegen. Wir waren sehr happy.

Abenteuer in der Wildnis! Dies ist wirklich eine atemberaubende Unterkunft und der Gastgeber ist permanent bemüht den Aufenthalt zu perfektionieren. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abgelegen. Fußläufig ist nichts zu erreichen. Man muss sich einen Roller mieten (bekommt man auch durch den Gastgeber). Nach Sidemen rein dauert die Fahrt dann 20-30 Minuten über wirklich katastrophale Straßen. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft schön. Man muss sich aber bewusst sein, dass die Natur in der Nacht sehr laut sein kann. Und die Unterkunft hat natürlich auch keine Klimaanlage (weil alles offen ist). Dementsprechend kann es sehr warm und auch laut sein. Die Unterkunft ist top sauber und sehr schön ausgestattet. Diese Unterkunft lohnt sich als kleines Abenteuer.

Endroit insolite, décoration soignée, construction magnifique. Lit super confortable, piscine/spa chauffée au top pour terminer la soirée. Accessible facilement vers Sidemen. Le petit déjeuner de base est très bon mais un peu léger. Cependant, possibilité de rajouter un plat supplémentaire. Il manque aussi quelques rangements, notamment dans les chambres et salle de bain (porte serviette). Restaurant à proximité mais n’est pas d’un très grand rapport qualité prix et nous avons eu plus d’une heure d’attente pour une commande avec livraison. Mais nous recommandons à 100% pour une évasion garantie !

Overall had a great stay. Giri and the staff are super attentive and helpful. The only thing to be aware of is the water from the faucets throughout the house (sinks and shower) smell very strongly of metal. We tried to run it out but after 4 nights there was still a smell. Nothing horrible, but it was the only small gripe!

We have been living in Denpasar for one year, but we are originally from the U.S. where we lived in the Blue Ridge Mountains, had a garden, and spent our evenings by the campfire. We were looking for a place to get away for our son’s 16th birthday and hoped for somewhere away from traffic and surrounded by trees. We could not have dreamed that we would find a place that would ease our homesickness while also allowing us to experience the true beauty of the real Bali. If we could move into the cabin, we would in a heartbeat. The staff is incredible and they immediately made us feel like family. We have officially named the cabin our “home away from home” and hope to return when we begin to feel homesick. If you love the outdoors, gardens, trails, flowers, and campfires, you will not be disappointed.

That was incredible, best air bnb i had in Bali ! If you looking for a real experience with local you should go there. I Ketut bring me to local market with local food and local game that was so nice ;) Also he give me some really good tips about hiking the mont Agung ! With a scooter you can go to many places near the accommodation, temples, waterfalls and street market with ao many different delicious foods. I will come back for sure !! This was our second stay to the lodge and we had such a fabulous time. The rooms were spacious and furniture to match the authentic Balinese period. The pool was clean and lovely, good size for a swim. The food was excellent, my son is such a fussy eater and found so many great choices on the menu. Love the tranquility of the place. A must go place!

I had a nice stay at josse's homestay, in the center of Amed. It is really close to everything you need and the main activities. The room is very nice. I recommend it !

Vista maravilhosa, lugar de paz e tranquilidade, exatamente como anunciado. Refeições bem preparadas e ótimo atendimento de todos. Tive uma ótima estadia. Palmterrace é um local para descansar, se procura agito e curtição esse não é o lugar. Amei a minha estadia e irei recomendar

A gem, the views from the balcony of this flat is stunning, the whole flat is perfect, fully equipped and clean. From the start Guna was extremely helpful and friendly, couldn’t ask for a better host tbh. Had a couple things happened and he solved it in a heart beat. All the staff there were friendly and always ready to help. A stone throws away to the beach and all that it offers which is great. I would definitely recommend Guna’s Flat to anyone looking for their time in Amed! Thanks guys!

I wish I knew about Ayu’s place earlier; I would’ve stayed there a LOT longer! Breezy and home-y, this Airbnb is on the second floor with a killer view of Mount Agung—there’s plenty of visual privacy. I feel truly on vacation at Ayu’s place. As other guests noted, make sure to bring earplugs with you to Amed—pretty much none of the centrally located accommodations is immune from the combination of speeding motorcyclists, karaoke singing tourists, barking dogs, and crowing roosters.

Nous avons passé une semaine de plus que prévu dans ce merveilleux logement. La vue est juste magnifique et l’endroit est d'un calme apaisant. Leur cuisine était exquise et la propreté impeccable. Nous avons eu du mal à partir tant nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Merci pour cette expérience inoubliable !

My partner and I stayed one night in an Ecozy tent (glamping-style) and it was wonderful. We arrived at night, so we couldn’t see much of the surroundings, but next day we saw that our room had a breathtaking view, and we truly felt immersed in nature. The staff was extremely helpful, kind and attentive, assisting us with everything we needed. The cabin is relatively open, with gaps leading outside, so we encountered many insects – but nothing out of the already expected. In the morning, we saw several cute lizards outside that ran into the bushes when we tried to take photos. Breakfast was delivered on time, and the restaurant Biji Valley on the property served the best juices we had in Bali. The pool is stunning, a real highlight. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs, as the insect chanting at night can be loud! Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful nature escape! :)

Es waren zwei tolle Tage, die wir ausschließlich in der Hotelanlage zum relaxen genutzt haben. Die Gespräche mit Yanti und John waren toll. Wir haben einen Kochkurs bei Yanti absolviert und sind begeistert - erst das Einkaufen auf dem Lokalmarkt und anschließend das Kochen von mehreren Gerichten. Tolles Erlebnis! Sie organisierte uns eine gute und günstige Massage direkt in der Anlage. Der Ausblick auf das Meer war toll! Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft weiter!

Cocoa Maya is the most beautiful villa. I cannot begin to say how wonderful our stay was. The team looking after us were so incredibly kind and the food was amazing. We had dinner every night! The villa is so loved and cared for. We had the most amazing time with our children and grandchildren. Thank you all for the happiest holiday.

100% recommend. We initially booked for 1 week, and then ended up extending. There are 4 rooms in a beautiful purpose-built villa with a shared kitchen and living spaces + the pool. The best thing for us was the full western style kitchen (shared). We've been budget travelling in Asia for the past several months, so having an oven, and things like a good blender to make smoothies were big bonuses. Everything is clean and well maintained. AC & wifi work well. Also nice that the bedrooms have AC + a ceiling fan. The owner lives in her own separate apartment on the third floor of the villa. She's very responsive and helpful, but you also have your own privacy. She even organised a diving trip in Tulamben and gave me a free lift out there. Location in Bunutan village within wider Amed was also great. Everything you need is in Bunutan - good restaurants, dive shops, Adi Shop supermarket - but it's quieter than the main tourist strip 4km up the road in Amed village.

Mantras Unterkunft hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht in die Landschaft. Auf dem Balkon konnte ich ihr leckeres Frühstück zu mir nehmen. Mantra und ihre Familie sind sehr nett und aufmerksam. Leider war es von der Straße zeitweise recht laut, Verkehr und Musik der Nachbarn. Mein Taxifahrer hatte mich zu früh abgesetzt und ich musste suchen, weil es keine Hausnummer gab. Tipp für zukünftige Besucher, einfach nach mantras Gästehaus fragen. Das kennt jeder im Ort. Sidemen ist so ein schöner Ort in wunderschöner Natur mit tollen Restaurants und nicht überfüllt, wie so viele andere Orte Balis. Besondere Empfehlung bei Wayang Tebola einen Kochkurs zu machen, super nett und sehr bescheiden. Ich habe sogar noch eine Nacht bei Mantra verlängert. Trotz Regenzeit hatte ich nur bei meiner Anreise Regen und habe die Tage sehr genossen.

We stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved our stay! The view is exactly like the pictures, and I think every room has this view also. The room was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great restaurants are walkable, not far from the beach also. Komang and the whole team were the highlight for us though. So friendly and welcoming! We were invited to join Komang and his family for a few drinks, truly a money can’t buy experience. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to return one day.

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful cottage in Bali! Kadek, our host, was so kind and went above and beyond to make our trip special. Since we don’t drive scooters, he drove us to explore stunning spots nearby—lush rice fields, iconic temples just minutes away, a snake plant plantation, waterfalls, white sand beaches, and charming villages. The view from the balcony and pool was breathtaking—rice fields and mountains- nature at its finest- waking up to that was pure magic. The food was also a highlight: delicious, authentic Balinese meals made fresh at the on-site restaurant owned by the same lovely family. There’s so much to see that a few days aren’t enough—you’ll want to stay longer! Plus, it’s perfect for friends too, with two neighboring cottages on the same property. Highly recommend for a peaceful, local, and truly memorable Bali experience!
