We traveled as a group of 6 to Villa Acres Green for a one-night getaway. The place was truly beyond our expectations and the pictures don’t do justice to the place! The property is spacious and gives you a sense of seclusion from the rest of the world. The vast garden is scattered with lots of trees, a pond and a well maintained lawn with benches and hammocks for a nice evening chill. The pool is much bigger than you’d expect and was clean. The tiles in the pool are starting to break so a little caution would be advised. We opted to get our food prepared at the property. The BBQ dinner was excellent, but the Sri Lankan breakfast (kiri bath) was only average. It’s possible that the food maybe a hit of miss in our experience. The rooms were nice; spacious and clean! The A/C cooled well which was more than appreciated since the days were scorching! All in all, we had a fantastic experience at the property and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Hikkaduwa.

Ich war alleine unterwegs und habe ein paar Tage in dieser Unterkunft in Mirissa verbracht. Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr angenehm. Besonders die Lage ist hervorragend – ruhig, aber dennoch nah am Strand und ideal, um zu entspannen. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war in Ordnung. Die Unterkunft selbst hat Charme und bietet eine solide Basis, besonders für Alleinreisende. Allerdings ist die Inneneinrichtung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Vor allem das Badezimmer hätte eine Auffrischung nötig: Die Dusche war etwas heruntergekommen, der Duschkopf wirkte nicht mehr richtig sauber, und der Toilettendeckel war leider kaputt. Auch die Wände wirkten stellenweise beschmiert, und der Wasserhahn am Waschbecken sah ziemlich ranzig aus. Es wäre schön, wenn in Zukunft einige dieser Dinge erneuert oder saniert würden – das würde den Aufenthalt deutlich aufwerten. Trotz dieser kleineren Mängel habe ich mich wohlgefühlt und würde bei einer entsprechenden Renovierung gerne wiederkommen.

Mit Abstand die absolut beste Unterkunft die wir jemals hatten. Schon von der Kontaktaufnahme bis hin zum Check out einfach alles super. Charith und Tharaka sind die Perlen des Hauses. Wir wurden während unseres Aufenthalts liebevoll umsorgt. Charith überraschte uns jeden Morgen mit einem leckeren Frühstück und ging sogar auf die Sonderwünsche der Kinder ein. Die Villa wurde täglich gereinigt, frische Blumen standen auf dem Tisch... einfach liebevolle Detailarbeit. Es ist ein super gemütliches offenes Haus, mit großen Räumen ohne unnötigen Kram, aber viel Liebe zum Detail. Die tolle Aussicht vom Pool über die Reisfelder und gleichzeitige Privatsphäre spricht für sich. Wer sich hier nicht wohlfühlt, dem kann tatsächlich nicht mehr weiter geholfen werden. Zusammengefasst: Urlaub vom feinsten ab der ersten Minute.

Beautiful villa with abundant space, verandah-style living, a great pool, and spotlessly clean. A short tuk-tuk ride away from Galle Fort and 10 minutes to the beaches of Unawatuna. The villa itself whilst in quite a busy part, enables a highly peaceful and relaxing holiday. We spent just over a week there and the caretaker (Fayas) went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and the chef (Rizwan) cooked us numerous and varied breakfasts, allowing us to sample delicious traditional food we’d not had before. Check in and out during very early morning due to flight times were also accommodated. Overall we had a great holiday at the villa and would highly recommend.

Dilan is really a great host. He helped us a lot even before arriving and responded to any questions we had. Very helpful, he arranged our transfers and motorbikes and helped us with everything, even brought us food. The villa was incredibly nice and clean, we love our stay in his place, we felt like home the entire time and I recommend it! ❤️

Gads Villa is a truly magical place. The gardens are exquisitely landscaped, and the giant Velvet Apple tree is really a wonder to behold. The pool has a shallow section which is perfect for little ones, or for adults to lounge in. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed (important when traveling with 4 youngsters!). The bathrooms are likewise huge and very prettily set out. Beds are comfortable and the fans were sufficient to keep us cool at night. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, a few minutes tuk tuk ride into the main part of town. I personally found it very convenient to have yoga and a little spa within a few minutes walk. Secret Beach is also only a short walk away. Sahan and team were super helpful, and breakfasts were delicious. All in all a fabulous stay.

Stunning. Beautiful. Idyllic. Just everything we hoped it would be! The villa itself is just gorgeous and the views are incredible. We ordered breakfast to the villa twice and a dinner one evening and it was all so delicious and great value for money. The location is about 10mins from mirissa/15 mins from weligama so we hired a scooter to get around which the host very kindly had waiting for us on arrival! The only caviat I have is to be prepared for insect bites, lizards, frogs and other bugs etc. There's nothing scary (honestly I'm the biggest scaredy cat with these things) but you do have to remember that it's situated in a private tropical environment so you need to share it with the wildlife. Swimming in the pool at night watching the fire flies is something I will never forget! If I'm lucky enough to return to Sri Lanka, I will definitely be back :)

Wir hatten so eine schöne Zeit. Der Garten ist riesig und das Haus war sauber und wir hatten ganz viel Platz als Familie. Zu Fuß kann man die Umgebung erkunden. Restaurants, Supermärkte und der Strand lässt sich zu Fuß erkunden. Eine tolle Nachbarschaft und vor allem eine sehr ruhige. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Die Familie hat uns sogar morgens Frühstück gemacht, das unglaublich lecker war. Wir sind sehr traurig gehen zu müssen und behalten das Haus in schöner Erinnerung . Bis bald , Anna und Tim

Thank you so much for your hospitality! The place was really cozy and nice, we loved the balcony surrounded by blooming trees. The hosts were incredible - friendly, responsive. For example, we wanted ab extra key and a fan for the balcony - all of our requests were completely satisfied. It was always clean and neat - cleaning every week with a change of bed linen. The place is close to the main beaches, bus stop and everything you light need. Yard is blooming and big enough for parking 4-5 bikes

Haben 3 Nächte bei Josephine verbracht. Die Unterkunft war super schön, geräumig und hatte eine tolle Dachterrasse. Außerdem waren die Empfehlungen klasse - hier hat Josephine ein nettes Dokument zusammengestellt, das man sich unbedingt durchlesen sollte. Außerdem war der Preis sehr fair. Ich kann sie nur wärmstens empfehlen. liegt etwas abseits vom Strand aber es gibt einen kleinen, süßen Einkaufsladen direkt ums Eck und ein super leckeres familiengeführtes Restaurant (Humbhaha Ahangama) fußläufig. Für die meisten anderen Sachen kann man besser ein Tuktuk nehmen. Hier solltet ihr unbedingt die Empfehlung aus dem Dokument beachten, Anoura war einfach super :)! Mein einziger negativer Punkt ist, dass es etwas in der Nähe der Bahnstrecke liegt und daher manchmal etwas laut sein kann - uns hat das aber nicht gestört. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Trop cher pour ce que c’est par rapport à ce qui se fait au Sri Lanka, mais en dehors du prix c’est un logement agréable proche de la plage, avec une belle piscine.

Terrene Villa was everything and more. Jalal responded quickly to any queries before arrival and during the booking process. We stayed for two weeks as a family of 4, plus daughter's boyfriend. The villa is stunning and just as described. Sri Lanka is the gift that keeps on giving and Terrene Villa is the perfect place to enjoy it all. Suda and Judi (apologies if I have spelt their names wrong) were a delight and looked after us very well. Their breakfasts were enjoyable and the fresh juices were delicious. The gardens were kept beautifully and what a joy to see monkeys in the trees and on the roof! Viraj sorted all our travel and day trips out and was always quick to reply and make suggestions. We were so sad to leave the villa, it really is an oasis of calm.

Amazing house with even prettier garden! You have a place for yourself, away from the street but close enough to the supermarket (2 mins) and the beach (1,2 km). The place is calm, private, you can really enjoy your stay in peace and calm. For this amazing price I don't think we could find a better place to stay!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Cocomari-Villa. Die Villa ist wunderschön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und liegt perfekt an einem wenig besuchten Strandteil. Somit hat man den Strand quasi komplett für sich und hat einen direkten Zugang vom Grundstück aus. Ithquan war sehr hilfsbereit, jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns einen flexiblen Check-Out ermöglicht. Das einzige was man wissen muss ist, dass es nur in zwei der drei Schlafzimmer eine Klimaanlage gibt. Ansonsten können wir die Villa wärmstens weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. 😊

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der White House Lodge sehr genossen. Wir haben uns schnell wie zuhause gefühlt in der grosszügigen Wohnung. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Die schöne grosse Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Janaka und seine Familie haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben interessante Gespräche geführt. Unsere beiden gleich alten Söhne haben sich angefreundet, vielleicht eine Freundschaft fürs Leben? Das Internet funktioniert sehr gut, perfekt um zwischendurch zu arbeiten. Janaka hat unsere Ferien mit Tipps für Ausflüge bereichert. Sewwandi hat sehr lecker für uns gekocht, vielen Dank dafür! Preis-Leistung ist top! Wir kommen wieder.

We (family of four with young kids) came across this house and loved it, but it didn’t have a bed for our one year old daughter, so we sent Vic a message and he went out of his way to find one. Great start! When we got there, the house was even better than the pictures give away: private villa on the quiet outskirts of Ahangama, but a five minute tuk tuk ride will get you to the town’s centre where all the restaurants and such are. Modern bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, nice kitchen and living room, beautiful pool, huge patio with a roof over it, monkeys in the trees in the morning etc. etc. I contacted Vic several times during our stay and always got quick replies with great advice - places to eat, tuk tuk drivers, surf coach and places to see. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again myself some day!

It is very comfortable, clean and big house with good location (about 2 km to the cost, 5 min by motobike) . For us was available second floor with 2 bedrooms, big living room, kitchen and bathroom. Owner family is living on first floor, they are very kind and lovely people, was helping us with everything we asked.

Amazing place! Beautiful pool and incredible views. Mrs Ira is so lovely and gave us a cooking lesson for free!! Vincent sent a really helpful guide and the property is really one of a kind. Area is kind of remote (walk to jungle beach but a bit further from unawatuna) which is nice and secluded and easy to get around with Kumar’s tuk tuk rides and connections :))

The staff of the hotel are excellent and we enjoyed the breakfasts they cooked. The pool area is beautiful. We liked the villa itself too. It would be nice if they put a washing machine in the unit. There can be some road noise at night, but not too much to sleep. Overall, we are glad we picked this place.

Am booked in for one week, only a five min walk to the beach. It’s ideally located and has a great open space garden area. You don’t hear any traffic only the sounds of mother nature. The room is spacious and the en suite bathroom has a nice shower. A kettle and basic crockery are provided. There’s ample storage space, plug sockets and space to hang your clothes. It’s very affordable and immaculately clean. The mattress is very comfortable and the ceiling fan keeps you cool throughout the night. There’s a washing machine on the property and the host is very accommodating and kind. The dogs greet you upon returning home. Chathura the host has expert knowledge of the surrounding area and is only too happy to assist you. He’s the consummate host, a well deserved five stars.

The house is gorgeous!! So centered in Hiriketiya it’s actually possible to walk to the beach and to the small village. The house is fully equipped and the bedrooms and bathrooms are amazing. It’s very hard to find a modern and comfortable place like this in Hiriketiya. I would come back any time! Also the Villa manger is very friendly and made for us an earlier check in and later check out possible 🙏🏼🙏🏼

This home, host and his family was our best thing in Weligama! Close to very calm and pretty beach, close to markets, centre, but more calm, no noises in the night, no smokes near..We stayed there for almost month and we were sad to leave. The host is super friendly, super helpful with every little thing. The best experience, better than we expected. We already miss this place and we know that we will come back next year! Would reccomend 100% to everyone!! ❤️ With all the love!
