What stood out from the start, is how well equipped, how clean and how well maintained it is, inside and out. The outdoor areas are awesome, the covered seating area, with heater, sit up bar table and of course the spa pool… if you like the indoor outdoor flow for the whole family, you’re going to love this place. 2 Smart TV’s (2 lounges= ideal for teens😃), easy to operate, with soundbars and subs, every detail’s been thought of (like it was your own place).! Every room has a fan.. yes, every room..! It’s like they want you to enjoy your stay.! A leisurely 3 minute drive to the heads or wood st shops and restaurants makes it a great location, in a nice quiet part of town. We’ll be back, as long as we can book in time..!!😬🤣 Awesome comms all round and YES the spa pool is spotless..👌🏽 Cheers

Sam's place was lovely and tranquil. Great outside space for the kids to go 'free range'. The house is warm, homely and easy on the eyes. There were also things the kids could play with inside which cooled their engines when there was a patch of inside weather. Would recommend if you want to be a little out of town with a rural aspect. Suited us completely.

The house was high end with great floor plan. Very clean and well furnished. Having use of the internal garage was brilliant especially having a baby to unpack and when it was torrential rain. Added bonus was the beautiful clean spa. Needed that after climbing Mt Manaia! Would absolutely recommend this house

This house is beautifully situated right on the water - at high tide the water reaches the wall. The house is beautifully decorated and feels very homey. With a log fire, a separate granny flat and 3 other good sized bedrooms, we loved our stay here. Would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing time during our stay! The surroundings were absolutely stunning, making it the perfect escape. It’s truly a fantastic spot for larger groups looking to create unforgettable memories together.

The little retreat was such a nice break from city life. Just what we needed a little bit of time out for a few days & this private, tranquil spot made it easy to disconnect from everything. The bed was really comfortable, easy oven to use, spices to use for cooking & overall a clean & tidy house. The spa pool was very relaxing. Really enjoyed learning about the history of Waipu as well, a little walk through the museum is a must do. We would love to visit again sometime soon.

Pataua South is a gem. The spot is idyllic and having two large decks gives you outside options depending on the weather. The kitchen is well appointed. The only thing I'd suggest is providing a hardcopy of all the 'operating instructions' so many remotes and appliances that for the technologically challenged, having those handy would have been helpful. Possibly crossing the tie downs on the spa pool would also keep the lid on better and stop sand getting in, so it could be used. On the scale of things though, so minor and doesn't detract from the wonderful setting and fabulous amenities. Highly recommend. Thanks Cassie and Laurence.

We had a wonderful stay at Tonia’s cabin! It was so relaxing, we even heard some kiwi. I would definitely recommend staying here if you need a good place to relax. We ate slow cooked stew and stayed cozy & warm inside while it is stormy out. Such a great stay. Thankyou Tonia 😁

We had two very memorable nights, the house was great, especially the spa pool with its unobstructed view of the sea and the big green grass. My furry and I had a great time.

Thank you Linda for a beautiful stay, the space was perfect! Linda was friendly, helpful & a great host, allowing us to arrive early on short notice & kindly offering a few extra hours on our last day. We enjoyed the stay very much w the serene private backyard & outdoor bath. Great access to the township & local pub just a stroll out the backgate! Highly recommend!

I am beyond grateful for the extraordinarily beautiful home and the extra mile the hosts go to ensure a comfortable and safe stay. A weather event tried to hinder our setting but we were so safe and very secure. They gave us use of a vehicle to access the property safely. Breakfast was supplied for us and it was better than a continental buffet. With everything coming from local sources. Cant say enough to express our gratitude. That spa though.....OMG 😍 so good. Could have slept in there. Highly recommend. Im definitely booking again.

Sheryl and Ian were very warm and friendly hosts with good recommendations for local coffee and places of interest. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and loved the cute cabin details, books and artwork. The outdoor kitchen was adequate for cooking meals and the spa added a nice touch of relaxing luxury.
