Words cannot express how perfect this place is. It's off the beaten path and extremely peaceful. The house was clean, well-stocked, and perfectly situated. You are far away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to do anything you want to do. Minh is the perfect host. She told us all of the best places to go and when to go. She was communicative and responsive. We've stayed in many AirBNBs and hers is our favorite thus far. If you are looking an escape from the world, Minh's place is the perfect place to getaway. Don't miss the pebble beach down the road. Early morning hikes were my favorite followed by a lazy breakfast on the screened porch overlooking the ocean. Can't wait to go back.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch Airbnb experience.

We had an amazing time at Joe and Anna’s place! The location was ideal, tucked in a quiet area but still close to shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything you’d want in an Airbnb. The kitchen had all the utensils and essentials for easy cooking, and the pool was perfect for our kids, especially with the fun pool toys that were already there. Joe and Anna were incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to answer any questions. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. It really felt like a home away from home, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely stunning home…great location and furnished with pretty much anything you could ever need. Between the hammock, ping pong table, tree house, and beach toys, it’s hard to imagine that any place could possibly be more kid-friendly. Hosts were responsive and extremely accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent it again, and highly recommend this property.

Our family loved the house. There was plenty of space for everyone and the set up was perfect for our needs. We especially loved sitting on the lanai in the mornings and evenings, and falling asleep to the sound of the tree frogs. The location was a further from the ocean than we realized, but we enjoyed the lushness of the hilly terrain and would stay there again. Susan and Iris were very responsive when we reported a few minor appliance issues and it didn't impact our overall experience.

Great place to stay at - wonderful amenities and right next to one of the nicese beaches! Also free of any insects that plague alot of other locations (iykyk) - would stay here again for sure!

What more is there to add? The five star reviews say it all. The home is in a peaceful neighborhood but close to water, shopping, activities. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. Everything you need to cook is provided. Living in the treetops with abundant bird life is simply magical. The hosts have provided ever the you need for a great vacation stay. We would return here in a heartbeat.

Erika’s Airbnb in Kailua-Kona was fantastic, and it was truly a pleasure to stay here. It is a sprawling condo with a great layout and a beautiful living room, kitchen, balcony, and bedroom. In addition to all the very useful appliances and amenities the condo came with (a large fridge, a washer/dryer, etc.), the condo was adorned with a bulletin of wonderful recommendations and was stocked with all the supplies we could possibly need, from kitchen items to cleaning supplies to snorkeling gear, fostering a best-of-both-worlds feeling of “staying at home” while enjoying a tropical vacation. The location of the condo is also fantastically convenient, with close proximity by car to gas stations, big-name stores such as Safeway and Wal-Mart, a mix of both quick fast food options and wonderful sit-down restaurants and breweries, the Kona airport, and an array of incredible tour experiences, landmarks, and beach parks in West Hawaii. Thank you Erika, for a wonderful stay here.

Really loved our stay. We made great use of the beach and snorkle equipment provided. Loved being close by so many beaches includng Honaunau. Place was clean, wifi was fast, and was especially nice to have a washer and dryer.

We stayed a week at Jon’s place. The suite was very comfortable and spacious. It is perhaps the best equipped AirBnb I have been to, everything we needed was there. The cooler and ice packs were greatly appreciated to keep our snacks and lunches cold in the hot car when we were around and about visiting the island. The bed is good and medium firm and there is a good selection of different pillows to pick from (same goes for the snorkelling gear). I was so grateful for the hair dryer. Jon and Mariluz are adorable and truly care about their guests. They gave us fresh towels mid-week which was so nice. They know a lot about the island and a great resources if you have questions. We had a great time!

Dennis' place was pacious and clean. His kitchen had everything we needed. Dennis was friendly and helpful. Will stay at this place again if we come back to Big Island the next time

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was so spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. We loved watching the horses from the lanai and having Buddy the dog greet us everyday when we arrived back. We felt like we had the best spot on the island to watch the sunset. The sounds of the coqui frogs at sunset was absolutely amazing and so relaxing to fall asleep to. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped for self catering and it was really helpful having some things in the cupboards like spices, oil, syrup, etc. We were so sorry when it was time for us to leave!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig und sehr gemütlich. Alles funktioniert sehr gut, besonders die Küche war ein absolutes Highlight. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und haben sich rührend um uns gekümmert. Wir haben viel Obst geschenkt bekommen, sogar louche und sapote aus dem Garten. Beide Früchte hatten wir noch nie gegessen, geschweige denn von ihnen gehört. Es gab viel von vorherigen Gästen zurückgelassenes Schnorchel- und Strandequipment, das wir ausleihen durften. Fantastisch!

We stayed a couple of nights at this beautiful place. Meg and Bred are great hosts. We loved the view from the Porch, all the small details in the apartment. We took private surf lessons with Brad and he is a very great teacher, he is super passionate about surfer. He also offers coffee tours. Definitely check with them what to do as we got a lot of recommendations and they help in case something is needed. The environment is peaceful, non touristic and gives you an impression how it is to be a local. Enjoy the jungle sounds at night and the stunning sunsets from the Porch. Thanks for hosting us. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was well-equipped for staying a couple weeks. We usually eat breakfast where we stay, although Hawaiian Style Cafe in Waimea was worth the drive. We also like to cook occasionally, especially in area like this where can buy fish at a market (Hale l'a Da Fish House). We appreciated the spices, olive oil,... in the cupboard. The beach towels, beach chairs and cooler were good to have because you can't pack all that! The hosts were quick to answer any questions we asked.

Location, location, location. We loved being ~10-15 minutes from spectacular beaches while having some flexibility away from resorts. This is Waikoloa Village so it is a bit longer to Kona which we liked but certainly plan for slightly longer drives if you are spending time further south. There are some new restaurants popping up nearby which is convenient, as well as, a KTA and HiCo (coffee). Noise is a minor problem as the complex has visitors that may be loud at odd hours. There are also wild turkeys in the morning. This did not bother us but the walls are thin. There is no AC which was fine for us. Opening up the doors provided a nice breeze. Condo has everything you need and more including tons of beach gear. It's a value stay for the Waikoloa area. Adam is very communicative despite not being local. Check-in is incredibly simple.

This is our 4th stay at Kona Bali Kai and this unit is our absolute favorite! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and even a spice rack. Both bathrooms were clean and nice AND stocked with shampoo and conditioner! The bedrooms were very comfortable and the lanai had table and chairs and comfy chaise lounges. And there were 4 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, cooler and snorkel gear!! Made our vacation even more enjoyable. Holly was easy to get ahold of. We HIGHLY recommend this unit and will definitely stay there next year!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and organized. The bedrooms had their own AC units which was important and the bedsheets were clean and fresh. The kitchen had most of the things you need. There were some good items for the beach that we could use, we really enjoyed the chairs. There was one parking spot available near the unit. The place was exactly as described! For a small condo It was plenty for us and close to town, which was very cute. The shower was very nice and bathroom and other amenities were perfect for our short stay. Thank you.

A great place to stay!! Beautiful location, and quiet. the only downside was there was very little space to set toiletries, suitcases, etc. It was still very well worth the stay, though, and we really enjoyed it!

This condo is right on the water - nothing but a strip of lawn between you and the water. It has a nice lanai ( balcony) with a dining table and chairs for four and a couple of lounge chairs. The kitchen is reasonably well kitted out. Paul was exceptionally responsive and nice.
