What a beautiful home in an excellent location. Loved the layout. Plenty of room to visit with friends. The large deck was wonderful and the view is amazing. The beds were very comfy and the master bedroom downstairs is perfect. The decor is beautiful yet very comfortable. Our host Lisa is very responsive and always available to help if needed. This home is a rare find and we will definitely return. Thank you Lisa for sharing your home with us.

Our group of girls had a wonderful time. the pool room was warm, the hot tub was well maintained. the place was clean, the house was well maintained, and the view of the lake was peaceful. the set up with many sleeping options could be great for a variety of groups. overall, this Airbnb is well worth the price for the amenities like the pool and hot tub, the sleeping options, the peaceful atmosphere, and the cleanliness.

Loved staying at this location. So close to restaurants and shops and outdoor adventures. Very quiet. Amazing views of stars. Plenty of sleeping spaces. Very responsive and helpful host!

Beautiful and extra clean! My favorite airbnb so far. It would be a wonderful summer vacation place for families to enjoy all the amenities such as fishing pond and pool. And close enough to Shawnee National Forest and Marion for different adventures.

This was a great place. We'd like to try it again in the warmer months. We stayed during a storm and the home was very relaxing.

The house is beautiful and is bigger than it seems. Allison was always responsive and clarified everything we needed. We loved the view of the lake and the living room, where we spent most of our time. The appliances are new, and the decoration makes you feel at home. It is a place to be rented once again.

It was a very peaceful stay. the place had lots of space for everyone to stretch out. the kids loved playing cards and exploring the pond area.

Allison’s place is beautiful with ample space! My husband and I have a hard time traveling with our five kids—there’s never enough beds/space. Allison’s place allowed them their own space and sleeping arrangements. The lake access is a dream! So peaceful with access to canoes—they were super fun! There was more than enough supplies to make our trip a success! When I visit Goreville again, I will try and get this rental again. :)

My wife, friends, and I were in the area for the Tunnel Hill 100. The location of the house was great. Only about 25 minutes from Vienna City Park where the race started. There was plenty of room for all of us. The home was exceptionally clean, and the views of the lake were amazing. Megan was a great host. She quickly answered all of the questions I had and kept in good touch with us. I am considering returning to the race next year. Catching Rays is definitely a place I would return to.

Incredible lake front property! We celebrated a future mother to be and we couldn’t have asked for a better house. Kitchen is stocked with everything you could need, host was incredibly quick with responses, and the views were incredible. Would book in the future in the summer time! Plenty of parking as well!

I swear I could not say enough great and wonderful things about this house/cabin and it's amazing hosts! Beautiful front deck, secluded and lovely back porch with a gas grill and hot tub too! An absolute pleasure and treat to have found this gem and will be booking again in the near future! Don't pass this place up I swear you'll regret it 🥰

Rhi was an amazing host and hopefully plan to have another trip soon!! The table was a little wobbly just something to look at and fix but overall a WONDERFUL and amazing experience 10 out of 10!

This was a great place to getaway with some high school firends. Place was very clean and exactly how it was described. we would stay here again.

the property and views are amazing. the house has everything you need, even charcoal and lighter fluid. 3 decks and a fireplace outside, even a stocked pond. whiffle boys restaurant has excellent subs and pizza, and Fern Clyffe both only 10 minutes away. Several trails are easy and 1/2 mile with beautiful scenery. I would definitely stay again.
