The Airbnb was perfect! It was super secluded, which was perfect for getting away from everything. There was so much fun stuff to do - we loved hanging out by the fire pit at night and my son loved the zip line. The fishing spot was great, and my son had a wonderful time with his grandfather fishing. We also went hiking and explored the trails around the property and seeing the horses. The whole place was just so peaceful. Matthew was quick to answer our questions; communication was great! The best part was that we had everything we needed right there, so we didn't have to worry about forgetting anything. We had such a great time that we're definitely coming back. It was like the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation all in one spot.

This was our second time staying at Zoe’s cottage in Galena. We love being able to travel with our dog and this location was so close to downtown Galena. The cottage is cozy and everything was as expected. We’ll be back again.

Had a fantastic stay. The home was perfect. Very clean, kitchen had everything we needed to cook, grill worked great, deck was very nice. Its quiet and peaceful, perfect for a weekend getaway. Cant say enough how great everything was. Exactly what we needed!

We had a great time at this location. Our host, Margaret was extremely helpful and welcoming. The house and the property were beautiful and what we were looking for. We had plenty of space for our family to celebrate the holidays. Margaret was very responsive and kind when we had any questions. She even brought a family member's lost coat to the house when a business called her about it. She went above and beyond. I definitely recommend this property and the host.

We had a lovely stay at The Treehouse. Kimberly and Dan were wonderful hosts. We had one little snafu that was immediately addressed and no issues whatsoever from there. Gorgeous views, comfortable spaces, great community amenities. Enjoyed being a little off the beaten path as well. Guidebook was readily available and helpful. Kids had a blast with the games. Only wish it would’ve been a little warmer to use the deck and porch. Would definitely book again! Thank you for a great stay!

This home was beautiful, clean and cozy. Bed was very comfortable. Host was very responsive.

We actually chose Linsey's place as a plan B when vacation plans for Arkansas fell through due to the weather, and WOW!!! We couldn't have been happier with our stay! Linsey was very quick and responsive to answer any questions we had. The home and location was absolutely beautiful!! She provided everything you could possibly need and everything you didn't even know you needed and forgot!! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy some much needed respite at your little slice of heaven!!

This place was beautiful and the views off the deck were great! The house was so spacious and had room for everyone. It was located in a very peaceful community so we had a very relaxing time. And it was just a short drive to downtown!

What a great place to stay in Galena Territory! The home was even better than the pictures and provided lots of space for our group. The screened in porch was a huge hit! There was lots of toys for the kiddos to play with and space to hang out in. The bathroom and bedrooms were clean and organized. There was space in the garage for 2 cars and 3 additional could fit in the driveway. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Galena! Around a 15 minute drive from downtown, making it an easy trip!

We all enjoyed our stay here. The house was big enough for 9 adults to be in comfortably. Everything we needed was in the hose for a wonderful stay. Being able to use the Owners Club amenities was amazing.

It was a very nice place. Peaceful and beautiful inside and out. Lots of things to do. Had a great overall experience.

We have stayed at Stacy's many times. It is such a cute townhouse with the space really utilized well. It is very comfortable, and Stacy is a great host and communicator. My husband and I love the location, and we stay here whenever we have the chance. This time we brought our small terrier, and he had a great time as well. We highly recommend!

Stayed for a long weekend with three friends! Such a wonderful quiet and cozy place to stay! Nancy was very responsive and friendly! The house was clean and the natural light was so wonderful. Would definitely like to stay at the Piccolo House again!

Doug's place was spacious and comfortable with all necessary amenities. It was located in a beautiful peaceful area just a few minutes from town. This townhouse made our family trip to Galena much more pleasurable. If we returnto Galena, we'll try to stay in Doug's property.

We spent a week here with the purpose of relaxing and recharging. There were five of us and our lab. The location is amazing. It is an easy drive to town and you are in a community/neighborhood, but it feels like you are in the woods. The house had everything we needed. We cooked almost every meal during the week and the kitchen was very well equipped. There are four bedrooms with bathrooms attached (one upstairs and three downstairs), plus there is a half bath upstairs. We had a couple of nice days to enjoy the outdoor patio and screened in porch. The pool table/ping pong table were fun. While we didn’t really use the owners club, it was nice to have access to it and it is really nice. The host was responsive and friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

A beautiful place with lots to do. From the fishing pond to the fun stiff in the basement to the great outdoor space, my family had a wonderful time.

This was our first trip to Galena. Loved staying downtown where we could walk to coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and stores. The accommodations had a creative and whimsical vibe and were just as described, easy to access, and clean. Just what we were looking for.

Great location! The porch was where we spend most of our time at the house. The inside was clean and well decorated and furniture was very comfortable. Everything that we needed for our get away to Maquoketa Caves. Definitely worth the trip! Watching the Mississippi River was great. Awesome place to stay! Thank you!

Usually I write short reviews, but this one was so awesome I'll be effusive-- 12/10! Best Airbnb we've ever stayed at (and we've been to very many). I can't name it all but whatever you want they have it. Like...waffle iron, waffle MIX, butter, milk, coffee, tea, juice, excellent filtered water, and tons of snacks? Sound machines and extra chargers? Toothbrushes in case like us you left the ENTIRE toiletries bag at home? Beautifully renovated, a piping hot rain shower and all spotlessly clean somehow ON A FARM? Check! There were so many books, toys, dvds, high quality art supplies and games that we could have been snowed in for a month with our 3 kids and never run out of entertainment-- no exaggeration. Highly communicative, kind, and attentive hosts on a 175yo farm, who will give you an hour-long tour if you ask ahead, introducing every animal by name and breed and letting you feed them treats (Teddy the Great Pyrenees and Sparkles the pony were favorites). Great wifi too! 10 stars!

We used it as a base to explore the rest of the area and could have stayed for much longer discovering all the sights. It was nice to come back to all the creature comforts of home (including a dishwasher!) and the canoes were a nice bonus. Clean and cozy place for exploring the area. Yes it's by the railroad. Bring your melatonin and white noise machines, the trains do blow whistles often. Do check out Timmermans Supper Club you can see from the house across the water for a fancier dinner out. Don't miss the river walk down to Star Brewery in Dubuque, IA + historic shot tower. And for a dinner + entertainment we enjoyed Frank O'Dowds Irish pub in Galena. We also explored Maquoketa caves and took the Fenelon place elevator ride for a picturesque view of the city. Location is a little more in a run-down type area by the tracks, but the house itself is updated and clean inside. Several security cameras are used reducing the feeling of privacy, but safer for belongings.

The Merry Mansion was perfect for our family; we had several people staying, but were able to host some additional local family members for meals - a huge kitchen provided plenty of space for meal preparation and the two dining rooms provided more than ample space for enjoying our home-cooked meals together. The decor is lovely and there was plenty of space for privacy in bedrooms or socializing in the two living rooms. It is conveniently located to both Dubuque and Galena and walkable to establishments in East Dubuque. Corey was wonderful, a proactive communicator and very responsive to questions; he was available at check-in to provide a very helpful tour of the mansion, as well. We will be back again for another Christmas celebration!

We had the BEST time. The cabin and acreage were breathtaking. Our kids had a blast playing, fishing, catching frogs and more. The cabin was small but perfect for our needs, we loved the porch overlooking the view. The kitchen/bathroom are very small (historic property!) but well equipped. Cabin stayed pretty cool even in the heat of the day, but A/C is there if you need it. We would totally visit again! Hosts were very responsive and friendly!
