Beautifully remodeled and well styled old farmhouse. My family had a great time using this house as a home base for exploring the Thousand Islands region.

We absolutely loved our stay at James’ place! It was such a unique experience and we loved taking in all the history of the home and the area (make sure to take them up on the tour of the house - you won’t regret it!). We really appreciated the peace and comfort of the space. Waking up next to the river was idyllic and the porch is the perfect place to sip coffee and read a book. Despite the age of the house and the fact that house and that the upstairs is being renovated, it was impressively clean - I can’t even keep my small house that clean! And I did think that a big stone house might be a bit cool but the heat works great and it was as cozy as could be. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need and James’ quick and helpful responses make check-in and then stay a breeze. Thanks for everything - we are excited to continue visiting and see the progress. Such a cool piece of history and an awesome project that James has taken on!

Beautiful place, had an ice storm while there which was beautiful on the trees. NY does a great job on maintaining the roads so we weren’t held up at all..we were in town for a family funeral so didn’t do anything extra this trip. Nice place to retreat to after the long day.

Such a peaceful, beautiful place. I felt at home immediately and loved every moment spend there. Would definitely stay here again!

Our purpose of travel was in Harrisville, this location got us close to where we wanted to be. Without hesitation I would recommend this host and location to anyone looking for a place reasonably priced. 10 minutes from Lake Bonaparte, 15 minutes from Harrisville.

Was a great place to stay. Very comfortable and homey and clean inside with very nice river view. Shawn was very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend for anyone who likes staying on the river. Was too early in the season to go out on the kayaks but would definitely go back later on in the season.

My family and I had a comfortable stay at the cottage. There was more than enough space for the 7 off us. My toddler enjoyed playing in the sunroom. The location was quiet, yet very close to Clayton and Alex Bay. I would stay here again on a trip to the Thousand Islands.

Such a lovely location and beautifully decorated apartment. Enjoyed everything about it from sitting out on the deck watching birds, boats etc to firepits in the evening and walking to the local Tikki Bar for food, beverage and socializing. We found the people in this area to be the friendliest we've come across in our travels. Oh yes and the bed is heaven.

The place we stayed at was perfect! Great location and overall the apartment felt like home!! It was very well taken care of, and completely furnished, felt like we were staying in someone’s house for the weekend! Would very much recommend and I’ll be coming back to stay in the future!

The town of Clayton was a second home to my husband’s family. We went down decided to stay at K’s motel and had a lovely time. The beds were incredibly comfy and the place was spotless. Thank you for hosting a few Canadians in this wonderful community!!

spacious clean apartment with small but full kitchen, comfortable living room and comfortable king bed. a little tricky to find .. house numbers small ... and had a bit of trouble at check in .. but Barbara was very responsive to a phone call and greeted us with the key code we needed to get in. no river view as it was fall but just a short walk from house.

We enjoyed our stay at Larry’s! It was so close to town but still felt private. Very comfortable, had everything we needed! Highly recommend and would stay there again!

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights while we took care of some business in the area. The cabin is off the beaten path and has a cozy feel. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed an incredible night here, stayed up to see the sunrise and had our coffee a midst the light drizzle. Nearly everything about this place is immaculate. We had a wonderful time together and hope to be back to enjoy it some more soon! Thank you Vanessa!!

Amazing place to stay! I’ve traveled to a lot of Airbnb all over the US, and this is my favorite. All the amenities, and everything you might could need. 10/10 recommend! Desiree is the best.

We stayed at Kasey's cabin for a last minute snowmobile trip. It was perfect! Very clean nice set up. Great location right on the trail we went late season and still were able to ride right out. If you are a 1st timer to Tug hill in the winter don't listen to the GPS if you're coming in from the south and just take 81n to 177. Thanks again for a great stay!!

We enjoyed being in the woods. The sunsets were breathtaking every night
