It was the most relaxing place to stay. The hosts were welcoming and made us feel like part of the family. We will go back.

Jim was a wonderful host! His helpfulness and hospitality made my stay in Bedford much more enjoyable. There were snacks and breakfast items left in the fridge upon my arrival, and I had the pleasure of tasting their excellent mead at the meadery on the way in, the staff there were very friendly and welcoming. I can highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a cozy and quiet retreat in the Bedford area.

Place was great. Family loved it. Plenty to do. Communication was great and check in and out was a breeze!

Sarah and her husband are very kind and share their home with care. My husband and I had a very comfortable stay. The $20/person a breakfast sounds like a lot but it was well worth it! Sarah and her husband made one of the best breakfasts we have ever had AND it is a LOT of fresh, organic food, definitely worth it. We didn’t even have to eat lunch that day. The space is great for people wanting privacy or wanting to say hello to their guest visitor. Would highly recommend to anyone and would go again. The internet is weak, but you don’t go to the mountains for the internet haha. Just recommend downloading offline maps and if you need to video chat, Elkton has good signal. Loved going to Shenandoah. Perfect anniversary stay!

We stayed in the Patriot Suite and the King Size Bed was AWESOME!!! Amy & Paul were great Host and made you feel like family. We even went to church with them and were highly blessed! Thank you Amy & Paul for everything!!! We highly recommend staying there! Nancy & Randell

Beautiful grounds. Place was perfect for our 2 families to stay comfortably for 3 nights with plenty of room. Amenities were great.

Rob and Julia were super responsive and accommodated our last minute booking. The condo was nice, clean, and spacious for our family of six. The facility overall was well maintained and good with guests. They were particularly conscientious about covid protocols to keep everyone safe. Unfortunately that meant some of the amenities like the gym and restaurant weren't reopened yet but that will surely change in coming months. So if you're looking for a decent, family friendly spot for a few days, this is definitely good option.

First time staying at this resort location. Prime spot, easy access to. all amenities. Clean space, proactive responses, and engaging staff. Will stay here again for sure!

The Afton Mountain Inn is a beautiful and special getaway! The historic building was lovingly restored with great care and consideration. Carefully selected furniture and modern finishes complement the historic details. It’s clear great effort was put into maintaining and restoring historic elements. Suite 6 is spacious, comfortable, and clean. It gets great natural light and has its own private entry. We enjoyed time in the Refreshments Room and Game Room in the common space of the Inn. The outdoor swings and creekside trail on the property were also nice additions. We had an awesome afternoon at Glass Hollow Studio down the road, which was recommended in the activities guide. The owners were so welcoming and accommodating, going out of their way to share the glass blowing process with young kids. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amenities were great. Location very close to all the historical sites. Really appreciated the coffee in room.

Connecting rooms were great for a family of four. Kitchen and dining were very convenient, away from the living and specially bedrooms. Two big kids are happy. We will stay here again. I will try to check similar place on our next family get away.

Peaceful, quiet neighborhood ! Amenities were nice and the place was sooo affordable for the amount of room & acommodations we were given.

This place was amazing ! we were traveling with small kids the check in and check out was seamless and accomodations were more than what we expected . the rooms were great, beds were comfortable and living and dining area provided an amazing atmosphere for the children to play and relax. We will absolutely be back!

Just a few minutes outside Williamsburg, Mari's place is a quiet and attractive place to base a trip to Colonial Williamsburg and other attractions in the area

Perfectly walkable to delicious restaurants and cafes. A beautiful home with all that you could need. Erin and Jason were so communicative and flexible.

this place is not what you expect and that is a good thing the pictures on the Airbnb website do it no justice the pictures are beautiful but the home itself is way more beautiful than what you expect you're getting more than your money worth staying here.

Ernesto’s place was spotless and beautiful inside. He had towels, laundry detergent, the necessary kitchen implements, complimentary drinks in the fridge and it was comfortable. We enjoyed our time here and appreciated the cleanliness. He was responsive and we would stay here again. The location isn’t the best but it isn’t the worst for being in a mobile home lot. Ernesto’s place is definitely the most upgraded and clean home in the area. Not much to do in walking distance but if you have a car you’ll be fine getting around to places/restaurants nearby within 30 minutes. VIR is about 25 minutes away which was convenient for us since that’s what we were visiting.

Maria was indeed a great host. The loft was perfect for what I needed, and the location was 8-12 minutes to every destinationI selected. I love that I had my own parking space and a lock on my loft door from the inside.
