Where do we even begin? From the moment we arrived, it felt like staying with long-lost relatives who actually like you. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches that screamed, ‘We’re overachievers, but in a good way.’ The hosts went above and beyond in ways that felt almost suspicious. We opened the fridge to find bubbly waiting for us (are we royalty now?), and there were chocolates on the counter like they somehow knew our love language. As if that wasn’t enough, we spent an unforgettable evening soaking in the hot tub while it snowed, overlooking the most serene lake view we’ve ever seen. It was like being in a Hallmark movie but without the small-town drama. Every detail was so thoughtful, from the cozy blankets to the recommendations that made us feel like locals. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience we’ll be talking about for years. If you’re considering booking, do it. Just don’t book the weekend we want to come back, okay?

I had no issues upon arrival entering the space. Easy, clear cut directions. Space is clean, tidy and perfect for a weekend getaway. Hot tub was nice with a great view of the lake. I felt comfortable staying here. I would visit again.

We were looking for a private place to take a retreat-like day away from home and this was perfect! The yurt and outhouse were very clean and the beds were super comfy. Bonnie met us there as we checked in and showed us around; she is very friendly. We would definitely stay again!

What a great find! Comfortable house on a lake (Wamplers) just 45 minutes from home in Ann Arbor! Easily accommodated 4 grandkids (10,8,5,3) and my son and I. "Bunk room" was perfect for the 3 older siblings. We loved the upstairs double showers. Very well supplied kitchen and very ample supply of towels. The game/toy cupboard was a big hit. The house felt safe for kids to be at ease, while also having them be respectful of the property. We happily used the grill for a dinner. Though the temperature was on the cool side for summer, the kids still spent plenty of time at the beach. We took the Dairy Bar suggestion seriously and had ice cream every night!! We're so happy that Layne accommodated our family. We were grateful to be able to check in early. A great place for an end of summer vacation for "Nana Camp"!

What a gem! This beautiful tiny house is so charming, private and peaceful. My husband and I felt right at home l, and enjoyed the beautiful lake view! It was exceptionally clean and free of clutter. Easy to find and close to town, but yet feels very serene. Thanks again! Hoping to be back sometime.

My wife and I had a wonderful time. The treehouse is extremely well made and maintained. It was very inviting and private. The bed was firm and the linens were clean. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great place, lots of light.

My husband and I picked Patricia’s place because of the fun game room she had downstairs-and I’m sure glad we did! Our family of 6 had a wonderful time playing pool, air hockey, shuffle board, ping pong and PINBALL!!! There was also a nice quiet study room upstairs where the kids could still participate in their online classes without missing a beat. Every space was so beautifully decorated and spacious it really felt peaceful. We were visiting in the winter so the cozy propane fireplace was a hit as well. I’d definitely recommend staying here!
