This place was amazing for our stay in Amsterdam as a family of 4. Totally convenient to transit and with plenty of shops, restaurants, and grocery very near by. We felt like we were immersed in the city in the best way.

My stay was absolutely perfect! Laura was there to greet me promptly at check in time with information on the city, restaurant recs and lovely conversation. The building is old and gorgeous only adding to the experience. With fresh sheets, towels and waterfall shower! The neighborhood is quaint and cute with everything you need in walking distance. It was a treat to be right on the canal as well. Laura brought breakfast each morning with a healthy assortment of breads, fresh fruit and more. (I'm pretty sure that was freshly squeezed fruit juice as well?!) Absolutely fantastic experience!

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Douwe even gave an extra bed as there were 4 of us. They also prepare some stroop waffles as welcome snack :) Location was really convenient and located in a quiet street. Douwe was also very accommodating and helpful during check in & check out. Will definitely recommend the apartment!

Very nice apartment, very comfortable bed, very friendly host. The next day the host gave us a detailed introduction to the surrounding cities and how to drive a boat to visit nearby attractions. Unforgettable travel experience, we will come again.

Heel fijn verblijf gehad. Alles wat aanwezig en fijne communicatie.

Met heel veel plezier hier verbleven. De omgeving is prachtig en rustig. Het huis was heel schoon en van alles voorzien. De host is aardig en behulpzaam. Ik kom zeker een keer terug.

Wir haben uns in Pauls Haus super wohl gefühlt! Tolles Haus für 8 Leute, da man 4 Schlafzimmer, 3 Bäder plus noch eine separate Toilette hat. An allen Fenster sind Fliegengitter, was sehr praktisch ist. Ganz toller Garten und Terrasse, alles sehr sauber. Die Küche ist total gut ausgestattet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Sehr ruhige Lage, die nächste Stadt mit Supermarkt ist aber nicht weit entfernt. Die Badestelle/das Segelboot sind auf der anderen Straßenseite, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen 😊

Das Haus war genauso wie in der Beschreibung. Es war sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber haben uns schon eine Woche vorher angeschrieben. Und haben auf Fragen schnell geantwortet. Wir haben auch eine genaue Beschreibung erhalten wie man zum Haus kommt. Man ist in das Haus gekommen und man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und es ist alles da was man benötigt. Eine leckere süße Überraschung lag auch auf dem Tisch für uns bereit. Irene und George sind super Gastgeber. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Twee nachtjes hier verbleven met mijn kinderen. We hebben genoten van het huis! Heel compleet ingericht, alles was aanwezig was in de mooie keuken. Ondanks het slechte weer hebben we ons uitstekend vermaakt!

Het huis was zoals omschreven. Verbleven hier met 4 volwassenen en een hond en hadden ruimte genoeg. Het was erg schoon zoals de badkamer en vloeren en er was geen stofje te vinden. Ook in oktober konden we genieten van het terras. Er zijn ook leuke spelletjes, boeken en films aanwezig. Vanuit het huis kun je leuk wandelen in Lemmer of richting de Brekken. Fijne host Evert is heel prettig in de communicatie.

Casa spaziosa, pulita e ben equipaggiata. Si trova in un paesino tranquillo e molto suggestivo (la piccola Gieethorn). Micaela molto gentile e accogliente durante il check-in. Abbiamo trascorso 6 giorni in serenità e comfort e abbiamo visitato in auto vari siti dell'Olanda (Amsterdam, Keukenhof, Leiden, Haarlem, Volendam e Marken, Zaanse Schan, Gieethorn) sapendo di tornare la sera in una casetta perfetta per riposarsi. Consigliatissimo.

We had an amazing stay at Ingrid’s place. She was a fantastic host, even meeting us in person when we arrived (which we really appreciated), and she shared great local tips for food and sights. The bright, clean suite had everything we needed, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've had at an Airbnb. We loved the back garden and sitting by the canal out front. Ingrid provided two bikes, which we used daily—it was an easy 5–8 min ride to the ferry, then less than 5 min across to central Amsterdam. Shops, groceries, and restaurants were also just a short bike ride away, and a metro station was nearby (about a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute bike ride). After busy days exploring, it was so nice to return to Ingrid’s home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone wanting to experience both the city and a peaceful local neighborhood. Thanks again Ingrid!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, die Unterkunft war sehr schön und sauber. Lediglich etwas kleiner als auf den Bildern ersichtlich, aber für zwei Personen völlig ok. Wir waren mit allen sehr zufrieden, besonders Johanna war extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend! Wir waren in erster Linie zum Angeln in Stavoren und hatten sehr viel Spaß und schöne Fische. Vielen Dank für alles!

WOHNUNG: Traumhaft schöne Aussicht direkt aufs Jisselmeer. Aufwachen im Bett war nie schöner. Sehr ruhige Lage, super nette Gastgeber. Trotz ausgeschriebener „Hundewohnung“ sehr sauber. GEGEND: Ein Supermarkt ist in 5-7 Gehminuten täglich zu erreichen. Ein Café ist fast direkt vor der Haustür.

Alles Super gewesen, schnelle Kommunikation. Vielen Dank immer wieder.

Deuxième séjour dans l’appartement de Monique en moins d’une année. Joli appartement très bien entretenu, très lumineux, dans le secteur Nord d’Amsterdam, à l’écart des foules de touristes, mais très facile d’accès vers le centre touristique d’Amsterdam. De plus, l’appartement est très sécuritaire, joliment décoré, literie, duvet et serviettes de qualité. Nous recommandons cet appartement sans aucune hésitation et nous comptons bien y retourner si l’occasion se présente. Merci à Monique et Niels.

We stayed at Lily‘s apartment over the weekend and we felt right at home. My first thought was: so beautiful! Damn, we’re only staying for 2 nights 😂 The ocean was so close 🌊 we could even see it from the couch, which was very cozy, and the apartment looked like in the photos. I’m definitely coming back! ♥️
