This was our second stay at the same property. The location was perfect for us being directly on King Street, steps from morning coffee at Mudhouse. The property was clean, well tended and pretty quiet considering the location. The hosts were easy to communicate with and helpful. All around an excellent experience.

We loved it! Walkable to the beach and into town even with a two year old. There was a huge fenced in yard that she was also able to play in which was beyond expected. This place is a true gem from location to amenities and I can see us returning here every time we come to Folly❤️

Exactly what the soul needed. I appreciate the walkability of this location and all the household amenities making my stay extremely efficient and comfortable! The well fenced in yard was also a must while traveling with my beloved dog. Absolutely would stay here again and am looking forward to my next travel into the region!

Alex and Karen were great hosts! They gave great recommendations for restaurants and activities! They were very helpful and responsive with anything we needed. The place was beautiful and very clean! We can’t wait to come back again!!

Bryan was truly an amazing host! This was a great space for me and a friend to enjoy a 3-night girls trip to Charleston. Location was a quick Uber trip to the downtown area which was perfect! The space is small but perfectly functional for two people! Bathroom and kitchen areas were amazing!!! Overall, an amazing Airbnb and great host! I would definitely stay here again if I return to Charleston.

Absolutely loved Folly Beach (first time visitors) . So many walkable restaurants and a great beach. Condo was great for our party of 7. Will absolutely come back.

The apartment was beautiful, historic, and well-maintained. It was within feet from delicious coffee shops, restaurants, and steps from King Street. The hosts responded quickly when I requested an early check in and were very accommodating. We hope to return to Charleston too and would definitely stay in this apartment again! I would highly recommend if you want somewhere that feels authentically Charleston while also being comfortable and clean, and the location can’t be beat!

The apartment is beautiful. The side porch is charming and it was so nice to be able to open the doors for fresh air and sit outside in the morning with coffee. The shower is strong, hot and spacious. The neighborhood was great- you are just a walk away from tons of places to eat, drink or shop. Would stay here again!

We had a fabulous stay at Gordon's place. Great location and easily walkable to more local restaurants and a longer walk to French Quarter. Gordon was very responsive. It was exactly as described. Loved having coffee already there for us to enjoy in the morning. My husband enjoyed sitting outside and reading. We would definitely come back at a future visit!

Great Airbnb and a great location! This is a prime spot in Charleston and is super walkable. It was so nice to have a spot included as parking can be difficult in Charleston. The beds were comfy and everything was very clean. The only downside is that it is location directly next to a very busy/popular restaurant (gets loud when the restaurant is open) and fire station. Thankfully the restaurant is not open very late so it gets quiet by bed time.

This town home is in a wonderful location. Ubers are available late into the night for a fairly low fare. If you drive it’s just a short drive to downtown and you pay for all day parking and walk everywhere.

Had a great visit. Enjoyed our stay. Only one complaint the one morning the gate wasn’t opening when called and it took about 15 minutes to get inside we finally went in the exit gate when someone came out. But I do believe there was a problem with gate as others couldn’t get in either.

Great stay for the weekend. Very welcoming and provided what was advertised. Would highly recommend for anybody staying in the Mt. Pleasant area

Great stay! Place was perfect for my husband and I on a quick getaway. Really appreciated the early luggage drop off and pick up!

We stayed in the downstairs 2 bedroom unit A. The property is located not too far North from downtown taking approx 20-30 min to walk to the historical district. There is a small convenience store a block away and a very popular bagel / coffee shop right next door. Holey Bagels. This old home has been renovated with pretty colors, the kitchen and bathroom seemed new as well as the decor. As with any old home it has its quirks but it’s part of the Charleston Charm. The amenities provided are really nice, popcorn, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, laundry pods, dishwasher pods to name the basics but the attention to details like, q tips, cotton pads & ear plugs are what sets an airbnb apart and the details are all there at Rutledge Retreat. It is important to note that one of the bedrooms is on the street and can be quite noisy even at night, with the traffic stopping at the red light and the fire trucks going by, the provided earplugs came in handy.

A really comfortable stay. A destination in itself. Worthwhile experience. Will definitely be back.

The house, scenery, and folks were amazing! From the decor and well thought out art to the quick and kind responses from the hosts, we were beyond satisfied! Would love to stay again!

My stay with Alex while visiting Charleston was great. From booking to check-in to check-out, Alex was helpful, responsive, and provided clear, detailed instructions for anything you can think of (and even things you didn’t!). I didn’t have to ask him a single question during my stay because he had covered all the bases in his initial message. His space is clean, inviting, and exactly as pictured/described. It’s easy to tell the host goes above and beyond with the details for his guests: a coffee & tea bar, snacks, a filtered water cooler, and shampoo/conditioner/body wash available in the shower. The Airbnb location is easy to find, and in a great location - a quiet neighborhood that’s a short drive from the airport and 20 minutes or so from downtown Charleston. When I visit next time, I’d love to stay with Alex again. I highly recommend this Airbnb and host if you need a cozy, comfortable, and convenient place to stay.

This is the perfect location if you want to be downtown. We were 5-20 min away from the best restaurants, the beach, historic sites, and many more. I loved this private location and would definitely stay again.

This Air BnB was exactly what we were looking for! The community was adorable, especially with the coffee shop right down the road. The beds were super comfy which is always a plus when staying at an Air BnB. Only thing was a bit inconvenient was that there were no hangers in any closets to hang up any clothes. Other than that, the perfect stay!

Great place super clean and nice! Pool is right outside for ease of use. Beach is a little bit of a drive but just a few minutes you could probably walk if you don’t have a bunch of beach gear. Responsive host and easy pleasant check in process!

Maxx did a great job making sure we had a place to stay for our beautiful weekend at Edisto! it was cozy and quite a blast. he's a 5 star host and we just love Edisto
