Aird Villa with its south facing decking is said to be one of the nicest houses on the Isle of Scalpay. It sits overlooking Scalpay’s quiet North Harbour where the local fishing boats are moored. From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. My renovated cottage within 2 miles of town of Stornoway, situated in a crofting community. In my croft I have Hebridean sheep and hens. Clachanach Beag has panoramic views over the town, out into the Minch and the hills of the mainland. It is a cosy base to return to after a day exploring. The cottage is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, cyclists, business travelers, and their furry friends (well behaved pets welcome).
