Just had a fabulous three days in this beautiful house! Pictures don’t do it justice - furnished to an extremely high level, brand new bathrooms and kitchen. The bedrooms are very spacious and toiletries just made it extra special. Loads of spare towels if required too. Lovely log burner in the living room and it was very effective. Area is so peaceful and the enclosed garden was perfect for the dog 🐶 Southend was lovely although very limited in amenities. Campbeltown was just a 15min car ride up the road and had everything we could have needed for our stay. Excellent host who was very quick to respond to any questions, and I would definitely recommend this home as a base to explore the southern end of Kintyre! We will return sometime soon 🥰

Beautiful cottage, very tastefully decorated and everything you need for a short holiday. The garden is very pretty and the views out onto the harbour are lovely. Not many food / drink options nearby and the only grocery shop is a small coop, so take plenty of supplies! One small niggle would be that even though there are 3 tvs, none of them are smart so don’t have Netflix or apps.

The home and location were better than the already beautiful photographs. Jura is outstanding and Nicky's home was beyond expectations.

we had fantastic time at Kintour School House loved the place from top to bottom the house and gardens were better than we could have imagined the open country side with all of the farm and wild animals around us all in all a great place and would thoroughly recommend the property peter April 27 2025

Wonderfully comfortable house in a magical spot by a loch. Great for a family group with a big kitchen and sitting room. Lots of space for everyone.

This house is a home from home on a beautiful island. We actually got married on Gigha during our stay and Nicola went above and beyond to help us gather together anything we might need. It is such a beautiful island and this is a brilliant place to stay. There isn't much accommodation of the island so we felt very grateful to have booked Ceol Mara for our special week.

What a perfect place. Just what we needed. the house is gorgeous and spacious with breathtaking views. Its so well equipped, you just need to bring yourself really. We had a wonderful christmas and no doubt we will be back. The only minor thing was, the heating wasnt set on for our arrival, which should have been done. Instead, we were sat in freezing cold house the first evening. Overal, one of the best places we stayed so far.

We loved our stay in this very lovely cottage. The view on the front porch is simply beautiful and we loved watching the sunsets. You have everything you need in the house and even had lovely wee surprises like coffee, teas , milk and a wee cake. We had an issue with the keys (completely our fault !!!!) and Marie was super responsive. Everything was fixed within 15 minutes and can't thank her enough for how fast she replied back (especially with two kids waiting lol). Good shower and beds. Note that the curtains are not black out - we didn't mind at all however it is worth mentioning it. If you want to visit the area, I definitely recommend staying at Marie and Ellis' cottage 😊

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage at Dunmore. The house was beautifully clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. There was a huge garden for the kids to play in, and the location is perfect for exploring Kintyre. Philippa was very kind and attentive, and thanks to Amanda too for her friendly, local advice.

Attractive peaceful location which is close to Campbeltown. Looks like it has been recently refurbished to a high standard. Recommended.

Home had everything we needed for our family from 7 months to 60! Great and helpful host and lots of extras in the house. Very comfortable and relaxing. Good beds and bedding with curtains that blocked light early morning. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This was a particularly good airbnb. Clean, plenty of room, well equipped, and absolutely fabulous position. Right on the seafront with views across the bay and endless entertainment just watching the weather change almost every hour! Not far to RSPB Loch Gruinart which was our main destination for the week to watch the birds.

Wonderful stay, a great room & very welcoming host, in a beautiful part of Scotland, I would highly recommend this stay. Only thing to maybe be aware of, the road to the property is a very long single track, from Tarbet, which added time on for daily adventures. Only slightly inconvenient. We loved it, were not intruded upon & would stay again.

We loved staying at Agnes’s place, so comfortable and clean. The bed was really comfortable and the little lounge /dining room was very cosy. The kitchen is well-equipped and we appreciated the yard full of spring flowers, where we could sit out in the sun to have lunch. We were very lucky with the weather during our visit and the house is really well-situated for exploring along the Kintyre way, the island of Gigha (beautiful) and other peninsulas and islands nearby. Fresh flowers, real coffee, biscuits, olive oil, herbs and spices were much appreciated. I hope we’ll be back and highly recommend this lovely little place, which was also really good value. A lovely little hut for a couple and wee doggy. So beautifully decorated and very cosy, the wooden kitchen surfaces were definitely the better choice ;) In the garden you get a great view of the Paps of Jura and the hot tub is great for sitting outside in the cold but being warm! Comfy sofa and bed and since there’s not much to do on the Island it was nice to spend a full day in the hut. Would definitely recommend and come back again!

Fantastic large house with amazing views of Arran. Very comfortable, nicely furnished and well equipped, with plenty of space for multiple families to gather, and/or celebrate a special occasion together, with enough rooms for everyone to have their own space and privacy when needed. We all enjoyed using the large and resourced Games Room. Extremely friendly, attentative and quick responding host. Lovely beaches and plenty of beautiful places to explore nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Suleskerry House and would definitely stay in this wonderful house again.

A cosy cabin among the beautiful forest. The space was quiet and the birdsong in the morning was amazing. Karen was a brilliant and responsive host. Would recommend staying here for a relaxing stay near Port Ellen.

Beautiful and spotless accommodation in the most perfect location just outside Port Ellen. Well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Karen was extremely responsive and helpful. Hot tub and outside space was a lovely bonus. We enjoyed every minute and would 100% rebook if back in Islay. Thanks again!

My friend and I were looking for a quiet get away with the dogs with nice walks and beaches for us to swim at. The location didn’t disappoint and the accommodation was lovely. Catherine was really helpful and started the hot tub for us coming back to the cabin. It was very peaceful and we would definitely stay again.

Fantastic peaceful spot to relax and recuperate! Hot tub was lovely and the bed was super comfy. Kitchen and BBQ hut were well equipped. Great communication from Ross, helpful recommendations on walks and restaurants - just give yourself plenty of time to get places!

Having been fortunate to have stayed at Airbnb locations across the world in the last 10 years I can honestly say this was one of the best we have stayed at. The welcome was so lovely and we really appreciated the little touches that has been taken to make our stay special. The house is really cute and so stylishly done! This was one of the best properties we have used through Airbnb and I cannot fault it. We were also lucky enough to meet the property owner on the beach across from the house, she was such a lovely lady and made us feel really welcome. We would definitely recommend the house to other people and would certainly stay here in future.
