The Koru Guest House

This modern farmhouse is located on 22 acres in the Amana Colonies. The views are spectacular from both sides of the house. It is surrounded by friendly farm animals including mini donkeys, a mini horse, Alpacas, A llama, kune kune pigs, baby doll sheep, goats, chickens and free ranging peacocks! We are located just 4 miles from main Amana with shops, restaurants and bars. Grab a cup of coffee, sit on our patio to watch the sunrise and then take a walk around our beautiful 22 acre property!

Located 15 minutes South of Interstate 80 on 240 acres of private property, this house sleeps 13 guests and is perfect for any family, or friend, getaway. 155 years old, the original Prayer Meeting Hall of Amana Iowa will welcome you to stay in the oversized suite. A large king size bed and the two-person whirlpool tub will make your stay comfortable and relaxing. After a day of shopping and strolling on the main road, stop by one of the three wineries or the brewery all within walking distance of Sandstone Haus. Come back to your suite and slip into one of our custom robes while you fill the whirlpool for a night or relaxation.

Outside is a full lawn adjacent to the city of Marengo. This is an event space rather than overnight lodging.
