Jimmy and Taso were great hosts and their place was exactly what we were looking for. Perfect location, central with everything within walking distance but not on a main street or around loud bars or restaurants. Check-in was easy, the place was clean and had everything we needed. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Muchas gracias a Nicolás y a su papá que nos trataron muy bien, son muy amables. El entorno es seguro y hay lugar para aparcar. A unos 200 metros hay una playa muy bonita. El lugar es sencillo pero está bien. Disfruten su estadía.

We stayed for 6 nights and it was magical. Very cozy, and absolutely perfect location up in the hill top village of karousades…the location is wonderful! We marvelled at the view from our terrace ever day. I suggest this place for a family of four, as it is extremely cozy however larger groups will find it a little small. Parking is always free and always available right outside the front door. The people are so nice and we were there for the Virgin Mary litany procession which passed right outside our door! It was a special touch of authentic village life! We really loved this place and looked forward to heading back there each night. The beds are firm and clean, with extra blankets in case you need them. The outdoor shower works super we’ll, with a hose which we used to even wash our hair and all the beach toys! Extremely practical for families! The hosts had fresh watermelon and water for us when we got there, which was so sweet! This is authentic Corfu as it gets! Thank you!

Very good location, 25 min walk to water and 5 minute walk to town center. Luxurious and spacious, with everything you could ask for!

Ein großes Lob an Anna, wir haben uns aofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Es war alles vorhanden was wir brauchten und Anna war sehr zuvorkommend. Es war alles sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt.

Xirocampi ist ein recht hübsches Dorf und als Zugang zum Gebirge (Profitis Ilias) gut geeignet. Die Wohnung liegt über der Gaststätte der Betreiber. Sie ist sehr bunt und mit vielen alten, persönlichen Gegenständen der Familie eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man so braucht. Zum Beispiel auch Shampoo und Bademittel. Es war sehr persönlich und herzlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker und preisgünstig. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

Amazing property! Loved the architecture and design of the place - tasteful decor. Enjoyed our stay here basking in the sun by the pool. Spacious rooms with lots of storage space - bathroom in each room was a huge bonus. Overall loved everything about the property and the host was very friendly and helpful.

Everything about Cottage by the Sea is special, from Kia (the owner) to the location, the surroundings, the house, neighbours - EVERYTHING! The house is perfect. Beautifully decorated, lacking nothing. The aircons were a saving grace! The beach is on your doorstep. And Atheras beach is simply stunning, hugged between two hills and the landmark rocky island in the middle of the entrance to the bay. We had 4 blissful weeks in Kia's house as a family of 5. The sea, sun and peace did wonders for our wellbeing. Really enjoyed the lemons and grapes from the garden. Oh, and the goats! Ethos, Pathos and Logos visited almost everyday (destroying Kia's beautiful Delicious Monsters, no less) but they were a special feature and lingers in our memories. A special mention to Makis, who took us out on his fishing boat for a day to other beaches close by. Kia is a warm, efficient host, non-intrusive and yet anticipating every need of her guests. Highly recommend!! We'll come again.

Ήταν υπέροχα! Το σπίτι ήταν απ τα πιο καλόγουστα που έχουμε μείνει. Ο,τι έχει βάλει μέσα είναι διαλεγμένα ένα προς ένα! Επίσης είχε όλες τις παροχές με το παραπάνω και μας εξυπηρέτησε σε ο,τι του ζητήσαμε. Το μπανάκι είναι μικρούλι κ λίγο άβολο, όμως μας αποζημίωσαν όλα τα άλλα. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ και πάλι, θα ξαναέρθουμε με μεγάλη χαρά!

One of the nicest places we have stayed, quiet location with breathtaking views. Spotlessly clear villa with all of the amenities you could need. Very responsive host. Quiet location and only a short walk to the beach front. We would definitely stay here again.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr höflich und nett. Sie haben sehr schnell für jede Frage geantwortet und hilfreiche Informationen geschickt. Die Wohnungszustand war einfach top, alles modern und sauber. Nesspressokaffemaschine & Kaffee-Capsuls, Milchaufschäumer machen leckeren Kaffee. Sehr bequem mit der Geschirrmaschine und Waschmaschine mit Trockener. Grundzutaten zum Kochen waren zur Verfügung gestellt wie Olivenöl, Salz, Pfeffer. Parking an der Strasse war sehr einfach. Die Stadtmitte ist einfach zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden und werden weiterempfehlen oder wiederkommen.

Konstantinos è stato veramente molto cordiale e comprensivo. La casa è veramente molto carina, corrispondeva alle nostre esigenze. Quando torno li ad arrampicare vorrei proprio tornare li. Lo consiglio davvero.

Everything was wonderful with the apartment, very clean, pretty, had lots of useful things like kettle, toaster, and microwave, amazing view of the lake and mountains from the balcony. Great location to walk into the centre, secure gated parking too, so everything you need. Chrissa was extremely helpful and a wonderful host. Would love to come back and stay again.

Great accommodation! The apartament is very roomy with 3 large bedroom, plenty of storage space and a nice and large living room with dining and reading areas. All beds are comfy and the apartment’s design is modern with much light during the day. The balconies are large and perfect to have breakfast. The bathrooms are clean and modern and the kitchen is equipped to cook a quick meal. The building is quiet with just 2 apartments on each floor. The biggest feature for us was the parking area. There are 2 private parking spots, one shaded and one outside. The host nice and helpful and we will definitely be back in Volos! Thanks, Chris!

I would recommend staying here if you are renting a car anyway and want to be a bit further from the city. The communication with the owner was great and fast. Our router did not work for us the first day of the vacation, but it was quickly fixed by the owner. There are three air-conditioning units, which was lovely. The apartment had: a roomy shower, two balconies (so you can always choose between sun and shade), and the extra outside blinds that could keep out all light at night. We had a car (rented from Enterprise) to go everywhere on the island, which we were very happy about. One of our group members luckily was very comfortable driving in Greece (hills and small, two-way streets). Buses are often delayed, so you would be waiting in the burning sun without cover for the bus if you do not have a car. Taxies are also pretty expensive (25 euro from old town to the apartment). The only negative about the flat is that the pullout couch in the living room is very uncomfortable.

Great place, even when it rained I was fine just sitting on the couch watching the view and the ocean. There's a nice path and the views are beautiful.

Siamo appena tornati da questa meravigliosa vacanza e possiamo solamente dire che, la casa di Maria Johanna è favolosa! Ci ha accolti con vino e salame, una signora sempre allegra, gentile, disponibile, solare, scherzosa e per niente invadente, anzi! Ci ha accolti insieme alla sua dolcissima cagnetta Mika e i suoi gatti bellissimi! La casa è PAZZESCA proprio come nelle foto! All’interno c’è TUTTO anche le capsule per la lavastoviglie e le capsule per la lavatrice! Ventilatori in entrambi le stanze, ferro da stiro ed asse, macchinetta del caffè italiana, microonde, tostapane…insomma ha TUTTO! UTILISSIMO il Terrazzino dove poter mangiare comodamente tutti e 4 (ma ci si entra anche in di più)e uno stendino a testa per entrambe le camere! Devi solamente comprare il cibo e BASTA! Situata in una zona tranquilla ma ben vicino a tutto! Grazie mille Maria Johanna per aver reso con la tua presenza e la tua casa, il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole! Ti meriti veramente il meglio ♥️
