Cosy cottage in beautiful Branxton

PLEASE NOTE: Bookings between 3 May - 1 September ‘25 are 7 nights only with Saturday check-in. It may appear otherwise on our calendar due to an Airbnb glitch. Our lovely holiday home, Mary's Cottage, is set in the beautiful North Northumberland countryside just a few miles from the Scottish Borders. In the peaceful village of Branxton, it offers country walks from the door and combines tranquility & style with warmth & comfort. It’s the perfect romantic, rural retreat at any time of the year.

Perfect for active outdoor folk and their pets.

Situated in Peebles, our Beautiful traditional stone built house with Aga cooker and wood burning stove. Unique getaway in the heart of the Scottish Borders. Private garden and spaces to sit out and enjoy some well earned rest. The house is close to the mountain bike trails and the town centre, an hour on the bus to the city of Edinburgh. We are dog friendly. The house is set up for folk who love the outdoors with plenty of secure storage and drying facilities! A family home when not rented.

DISCOUNTS FOR 3+ NIGHTS. Self-catering cottage sleeping up to 7 people in 3 bedrooms, with woodstoves for cozy relaxation & a sunny patio with firepit. In a beautiful Scottish Borders valley, surrounded by sheep farms & many walks. The Whiteadder River runs nearby, and beaches are a short drive away. We are next to one of the most important oak woodlands in the Borders. Come and visit to learn more! Also, the Woodlands Café has opened and it’s just a short walk down the road (weekends-only).

Dog- friendly cottage with woodburner & games room

Ivy Cottage is the perfect size for 2, although it can accommodate up to 4. Ideal location, for cycling, walking, fishing and playing golf. There are dog-friendly pubs and cafes within walking distance, as well as a good selection of shops. We have an onsite games room, free for our guests to enjoy. We can accommodate 1 large or 2 small pets, however, please note, we do not have have a secure garden area. The cottage has many wonderful walks right on the doorstep for you to explore.
