We had such a fabulous stay at Carole’s place in Warton. The lodge was immaculate and so well equipped with everything we needed. The location was quiet, private and set around a lovely small lake. 30 minute drive to Windermere and 15 minutes to Lancaster. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

Our group of 7 adults and 3 kids really enjoyed our stay. The place was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed. It provided the perfect getaway and we will definitely be back.

A very comfortable and pleasant stay. Accommodation was spacious and clean. Conveniently located for the town centre. Only a short walk to some nice restaurants and bars. Would book again if coming to the area

What a wonderful host, and magical place. It was such a lovely time, we’ve booked to come again. Mike is a treat, a remarkable character who exudes a warm that makes you feel instantly at home. The barn is full of charm and the chickens, ducks and peacocks a delight (especially if you see them angling for a biscuit from Mike!) The pool is incredible. Perfect for all ages. We’re half visiting again in the hope the kids will be bored of the pool and we’ll be able to get out and explore more… I don’t hold out too much hope on that one. A real gem of a find.

Family of 4 stayed 3 nights in October 2024 and it was just what we needed. Had some beautiful long walks along the beach. The caravan was home from home, clean and cosy. It had everything you could want for cooking a simple breakfast to Sunday Roast. Clean and respectful surroundings around the park. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

House was as described, beautiful setting with wonderful views of the hills and mountains. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds and bathrooms are nicely finished with good showers. Kitchen is a good size and has all required implements. A great location for exploring the central lakes and soaking up all that Ambleside has to offer.

Our family had a lovely stay at Burrowbank at the end of the summer holiday. The house is fantastic with all the facilities you could ask for. The kids loved the swings and most of all the pool, while the covered (heated) BBQ area meant evening meals outside watching the sunset. Great location and setting, very private and we would definitely come again and recommend to others. Martyn and Christine were very helpful and went the extra mile (even posting my daughter’s disposable camera that she left behind). Can’t think of any negatives and we made some great/happy memories.

We had a lovely short break here. The house is lovely, very clean and spacious. I do think the bathrooms and kitchen need replacing but it wouldn’t put me off staying there again. We only used the swimming pool at the village but it was lovely. Host was very quick to respond to questions before we arrived. A good place to stay to explore the Lake District

Amazing stay for a 30th family celebration. The sun was shining so we spent most our time at the house on the terrace! Perfect location with the surrounding scenery. We had a slight issue with the hot tub room, due to previous guests. But this was quickly resolved! Can’t fault the hosts or the house. Would definitely love to return for another celebration in the future one day! Thanks again

Beautiful accommodation overlooking the park. Clean and comfortable beds and sofas. Kitchen well equipped. Jo very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely book again.

Would 100% recommend staying at the Riverain Coach House. We recently stayed with some friends and enjoyed local walks close to the house, a good selection of local pubs nearby but would recommend pre-booking to avoid disappointment. However with Penrith and shops being only 10 minutes away, it wasn't a problem. The house has been done up beautifully and is really well equipped. Christine was great, providing lots of helpful information before our stay and the welcome hamper went down a treat. Thank you so much, we would 100% stay again.

The house was in a convenient location and provided the amenities we needed for our short stay in Windermere. Liam was very responsive and provided clear and helpful information regarding check-in. We would stay here again!

Exactly what we needed for a night away for a wedding. Usmaan was helpful and flexible and made our stay much easier. Good size, clean ,good layout , only annoyance was that it has has off street parking but unable to access but parking on street not a problem

Had a really love stay at this property for a hen do. Really scenic location, host was welcoming and very friendly. Gave clear instructions on where to park, plenty of car parking spaces. It is on a steep hill, so just something to bear in mind. House was lovely and clean and had everything we needed! Beds were super comfy too! Thanks again Sara! x

Excellent stay, only thing I would have liked better would be the height of the ceiling in the games room, none of our group could stand up straight in there

We had an amazing stay in a beautiful house. It was so quiet despite walking distance to Blackpool tower. Everything you would need and more. Large and spacious house. Lovely and clean throughout. The only small detail that could be improved would be to add more plates and dishes. Otherwise perfect. In fact one person in our group is looking to book it again for another holiday. We had a fantastic weekend staying in this property. We were attending a football match at the Etihad and it was a short 10 minute walk from the house. Absolutely perfect for what we wanted, would 100% book in here again if we ever return to watch Man City in the future.

It’s a wonderful experience staying here. It has best towels I have ever experienced, comparable to the top quality hotels. The e bedrooms suits us very well. We also spend a lot of time in the kitchen and dining area, eating and working. I also give high remarks on the interior finishes style. And many others, including some tasty biscuits prepared for us.

George and his daughter are lovely people. Their home is so clean, warm and had everything you could possibly need. Having it accessible for my son’s wheelchair was amazing and the downstairs bedroom really helpful. The location to visit Blackpool is just perfect, the tram stop is opposite so getting to the tower or the pleasure beach is easy, but the house itself is that little bit away, with excellent parking, making it ideal for a family. Very fair price too. Highly recommended.

The house is definitely home from home vibe! It was brilliant for all age groups and would definitely return. The house is absolutely spotless, even had hoover lines in every room. Adam is a great host and communicates back promptly. I would 100% recommend staying here! The hot tub was a hit for all the family too!

Great sized place with all you could need. Walkable to the seafront and all the local attractions. Hosts are friendly and responded quickly when we had an issue. Would definitely come back
