This place was amazing, the check in was super easy, the place was clean and the staff was super friendly, they even told us at what time we could see the northern lights

Very easy check-in, Jessi & John proactively contacted us beforehand and it was all as we desired: clean and quiet, directly at the seafront in this very charming little village Eyrarbakki and with a great restaurant (Rauða Husið). Highly recommended! Perfect for a night or two. Big thanks!

perfect easy to get to location outside of Reykjavik! the apartment itself is upstairs and with all the windows there's a lovely view of the street and some of the shoreline. wish we could've stayed longer!

Stefan was a kind, communicative host for our faculty travelling for 8 weeks to Iceland for student advising. I asked them to tell me a bit about their experience and they had overwhelmingly positive reviews for all aspects of the housing: "Stefan certainly deserves the 5 stars. Everything in the apartment is high quality and functional (and in good taste). For me the best thing was the balcony with view to the sea and the mountains. I also admired Stefan's dedication to recycling, he provided careful instructions which I followed to the dot (and made students aware of Reykjavik's new and developing recycling programs that help keeping apartment and city clean)." Great place to stay, close to centre of Reykavik and felt safe. Plenty of space and matched the description, we did turn the extractor off in the internal bedroom as was loud. Was clean and tidy and had everything we needed, we’ve really enjoyed our stay thank you!

Everything was perfect. Great spot to launch from. Up and coming area and only thing missing were restaurants or grocery stores that were walkable. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely and stylish apartment in a very calm neighborhood but close to the downtown area of Reykjavik. The place was very clean and spacious for a family of three and Asta provided all necessary amenities. Friendly and always responsive host with lots of local tips and recommendations. It was great to have a private parking space at the apartment. Very recommendable.

After several days on the road, Hördur's apartment was exactly what we needed to relax and rejuvenate for the rest of our trip. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had all the tools we needed to prepare dinner. Plus, we were able to wash and dry all of our dirty laundry. And the location was perfect, just a couple minutes walking from the port where we took a whale watching tour and ate lunch.
