It was beautiful inside and out, and we enjoyed the sauna and hot tub, could have done a cold plunge in the river also.

Great place! Amazing location, very stylish interior design, would definitely recommend. The downside was that the other guests were quite loud since 4am or so but I guess this isn’t Kex’s fault

Zeno fue muy amable desde el principio y respondió con mucho detalle a todas nuestras dudas. Reservamos el desayuno y nos recibió Mario, un chico manchego que estaba allí de prácticas. Fue muy amable con nosotros y nos hizo muchas recomendaciones. El. Desayuno era variado. Agradecidos con el buen recibimiento y atención de Zeno y Mario. Saludos y gracias

Questa Guesthouse è in un angolo di paradiso, una vasta radura silenziosa e rilassante Ci sono due bagni a disposizione degli ospiti (uno solo con doccia), due cucine molto bene attrezzate, tutto tenuto davvero pulito e in ordine (le camere come in foto, deliziose). Davvero super consigliato!!

superbe endroit, reposant en plein campagne islandaise proche de beaucoup de point d’intérêt étant pas trop loin de Vik l’accès à plusieurs commerce reste très accessible on a beaucoup apprécié dormir dans ces lieux entre les chevaux et les montagnes, je vous recommande ! petit point positif sur le petit déjeuner avec tout ce qu’il faut avec en plus ces gaufres faites maison qui sont excellentes

La casa está muy bien situada y limpia. Aunque hay muchas habitaciones y huéspedes, no hay problemas para usar el baño o las duchas ya que hay un lavabo y dos baños. Siempre que he necesitado usarlos estaban disponibles. Para el check-in tienes que recoger las llaves en una caja fuerte, lo que está muy bien porque puedes entrar cuando quieras y sin molestar a nadie. El único inconveniente ha sido alojarnos mientras reforman la casa, ya que el ruido era molesto y habían trabajadores alrededor. Por todo lo demás, todo ha ido bien. Repetiría.

Needed a last minute stay and this was really all that was left when booking, it was nice and clean and a good place to rest in middle of nowhere land.

We had a lovely time! The room was as expected and the grounds had some extra benefits like a dinner restaurant and hot tub. Highly recommend! It’s worth the trek off the main road.

Good stay for one night during our travels, very clean! A kitchen would have been nice though, and it’s a bit noisy in the morning because you can hear your room neighbours. But we slept very well. Nice beds.

Les recomiendo el cordero para la cena, estaba sabroso! El lugar muy cálido y acogedor! El desayuno es incluido y estaba muy bien también! Sin duda alguna volveré nuevamente!

We had the best time here. Cute houses, very clean, hottubs were a very welcome luxury after a long day. Just minutes away from Selfoss where we had an amazing dinner at the Foodhall

great accomdation close to Myvatn. Easy to access. well sized with good bathroom, very comfy bed and breakfast included. I managed to see the northern lights there which made this stay even more special.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Hjarðarból! The owner was incredibly friendly and responsive, making sure that everything was perfect throughout my stay. The hot tub was absolutely amazing, providing a perfect way to relax. The location is quiet and peaceful, making it a great retreat from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a stay on ring road Highway N1.

Séjour inoubliable avec nos 2 filles dans une vallée au bout du monde sous la neige, accueillis par Mickael aussi chaleureux que l’ambiance de son chalet. Si vous aimez les grands espaces à l’écart de la civilisation, ce lieu est fait pour vous. Aurores boréales le premier soir, baleines à Davlik, bains chauds à la piscine de Davlik et des balades enneigées. Nous repartons enchantés. Merci Mickael.

We had a fantastic stay here! The location couldn't have been better perfectly situated near Geysir making it easy to explore the area. The accommodation itself was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. From comfortable bedding to all the essential amenities, everything was well-prepared. The kitchen was particularly impressive—it had all the necessary cookware, utensils, and appliances, making it easy for us to prepare meals just like at home. Overall, a wonderful experience! We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. Would definitely return!

The room was a described with a separate entrance and private bathroom. It was clean and good enough for 3 adults. It was easy to find, even though it is close to the highway #1,it was very quiet and private. Anairda’s advice were useful and we appreciated a kettle that she left for us per our response. The house is close to the hikes and sightseeing areas. I’d highly recommend to rent this place and would definitely come back if I have a chance to visit this beautiful country. Excellent concept d'appartement partagé en self-service qui permet de profiter de la péninsule à un coût tout à fait abordable et avec de très bonnes prestations.

Hôte très accueillant Notre séjour d'une nuit c'est bien déroulé, partagée avec d'autres voyageurs Logement très bien situé, grandes fenêtres pour observer la nature (+/- aurores boréales) Très nombreuses instructions difficiles à lire devant la quantité avant l'arrivée, mais tout est renoté dans le logement Très bon accueil, merci

Nice modern place and even hot tubs. good even for 4 people to stay there one night and visit the forest lagoon and eat some very yummy ice cream in Akureyri.

The room was warm, and bathroom facilities were very clean. Enjoyed the Tea and heated flooring.

Ero in cerca di un luogo di ispirazione dall’atmosfera non turistica, per capire meglio questa terra straordinaria e per sentirmi parte di qualcosa di più grande. Qui ho trovato una dimensione speciale fatta di accoglienza e collaborazione, in cerca di equilibrio tra uomo e ambiente. I dintorni sono indimenticabili e avrei voluto restare più di tre giorni per poter collaborare di più al progetto biodiversità e magari imparare i nomi dei tanti, stupendi uccelli migratori che passa o da questo angolo di mondo unico e memorabile. Ringrazio gli host per aver scelto di condividere questa bellezza con me e con tutti gli altri.

Very lovely place with amazing view from the kitchen! Hosts very friendly, helpful and communicative! we really enjoyed staying there, everything was clean and ready for us! highly recommend!
