Lovely house in a great location, a few minutes walk from the subway and landmarks like the Apollo Theatre. The street is very quiet, and the bed is comfortable, we slept like babies. Yvette is a wonderful host, we had lovely chats about the history of the house and her work to maintain and decorate it. Highly recommended!

We were stunned by how magical this place was with all it's uniqueness of historic house. Spotless clean, spacious, very friendly owners. Our kids loved running around the back yard and playing board games that were provided. We would definitely come back, the only thing we regret is that we couldn't stay for longer, the area is very picturesque. many thanks!

Peter's place is THE perfect stay for a couple (plus dog) planning a visit to Rockland County. The cottage is extremely clean and incredibly cozy. The surroundings are beautiful, with the property well set back from the road and bordering Harriman State Park. Suffern and its restaurants aren't far and there's easy access to the Palisades Parkway to go anywhere else nearby. I grew up in the county and visit my parents on a regular basis. Any time I can't stay at their home, Peter's place will be my go-to from now on.

This was the second time we have stayed here, and we most certainlly hope to stay again in the future. The cottage is clean, comfortable, well equipped, and a good value.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 weeks in the fall and loved it. John is a great host and made sure we had everything we needed for a longer stay, like lending kitchen stuff or a soccer ball. Agreeing with all the other reviews that this place is more spacious than the photos look! The kitchen is a little cramped for cooking but it definitely gets the job done, and the location is great.

we have rented from rafael and Maritza multiple times and we enjoy our stay every time! we have 2 boys and they look forward to their "home sweet home" in the woods. there is so much to do! it never gets old. maritza and rafael go above and beyond to accommodate our family and make our stay as enjoyable as possible

We were in town for a concert in Red Bank and the cabin met our needs perfectly. Ideal accommodations for two people and we were able to bring our dog along. An easy stay in a very comfortable setting.

Jennifer's place was an ideal weekend stay for my family for a wedding in Asbury Park. A few blocks to the boardwalk for morning walk/run. The house was immaculate, Jennifer was crystal clear with all her communications and proactive with instructions on parking in Asbury Park. My parents raved about the beds too :) Would recommend!

This cottage is a gem! The location was perfectly situated for visiting family nearby, with quick access to key roads/routes. The cottage is newly renovated, very clean, and the perfect size for two people. The heated tile bathroom floors were so nice to have- such a great detail! The view from the trio of large windows is absolutely stunning. This peaceful cottage provided such a lovely and comfortable place to stay and we’re already looking to plan another trip in the early fall. We’d definitely book the cottage again. This place is quiet and very private, as someone in the area for work this is exactly what I am looking for. I work night shift and the host was understanding about odd sleeping hours and adjusted check out time for me. Wonderful all around, will definitely be back!

It was a nice place to stay, the AC units were great.

This is a charming, quiet spot just outside Bedford Village, perfect for a few days outside of the city with our toddler. Jennifer and Steve put together a really great guidebook, we mostly used their recommendations for activities, restaurants, and shopping — so many towns are within a 15 minute drive.

My fiancée and pup loved this little bungalow. It was the perfect size and space for a short weekend getaway. Clean, cute, comfortable, and abound with thoughtful touches like the doggie bag and Little Stanley! Chatting with Kat was a pleasure, and we would stay again.

We wanted a quiet weekend, and we got a whole lot more. Andrew and Mynor were amazing hosts!! From the complimentary beverages to the assistance with snow removal, their service was incredible. The photos did not do justice to the place; the decor was great, and the place was spotless. We will definitely be back!!

The carriage house was a lovely stay and very charming. Everything was clean, comfy and as described. The hosts were very friendly and detailed. It’s so quiet at night, but close enough to town for all amenities. The view of the city from the back patio was a plus!

I stayed at Heather's cottage while having our floors refinished. It was so peaceful and cozy. It was the coldest week so far this Winter but the space not only had a cozy feel but the heat worked great and there are heated floors in the bathroom. The view of the river from the bed was spectacular. Having Hartshorne woods pretty much across the street made it easy to go for a nice run which was also a perk. Heather was extremely responsive making the week go by seamlessly.

We were all super impressed. It’s a lovely space and the amenities were awesome. . I’d recommend bringing eye masks. We had them just because there’s so much beautiful sun . Also earplugs because the freeway is next-door, but it turns into white noise anyways it makes this space l reasonably priced for the luxury It is. Thank you again for your hospitality. I appreciate it so much. The space is beautiful. Look forward to coming back again.

We enjoyed are stay at Shay’s place. The location was walkable to town and park. Place was very clean. Was great that there was a washer and dryer. Bathroom was really nice too! Made for a great visit to meet our new grandchild. Would have added another night but was booked already. We will be back. Thxu

Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. The guest house feels like you’re sleeping in a serene and quiet forest. It’s also minutes away from great food and cute shops so you get the best of both worlds. We would stay here again.

Wonderful little cottage in a beautiful quiet neighborhood in Larchmont. Everything was delightful and sparkling clean. The host is responsive and so helpful. Could not recommend this more

Nice place, very new, and great location - walkable to the train station and a bunch of the restaurants and shops in Asbury Park. Interior was nicely done, and the bed is good if you like really soft mattress toppers. We did have one homeless person approach our car in the driveway as we were preparing to go out one time; he didn't cause any trouble, but he also didn't leave until we pulled away. Nothing we haven't seen in NY or elsewhere; it wouldn't stop me from staying here again, and (as a male) I felt safe walking to and from the train or the restaurants, even at night.

We have stayed at the cabin for three weeks and we turned pound ridge people now! Robbie and Daphne are the best hosts ,Daphne is very considerate and Robbie is warm and funny and helpful, he checked in with us all the time to make sure we have everything. Franny is always there to welcome us home and showed us her belly,it feels exactly like home. The Cabin is in the woods yet close to town, where you can find a market and a book store and nice restaurants. Taking a walk in the beautiful neighborhood can be really relaxing even in winter.

We liked how the place was near the beach and how clean it was upon arrival. Nancy was quick to answer any of our questions. The cottage was charming, and Nancy was friendly to interact with. We would stay there again.
