We enjoyed our stay at the cabin after spending a long day traveling and exploring geysir and gulfoss waterfall, nice that it was not far from there. We liked sitting in the hot tub looking at the mountains and horses, so serene and quiet. Next day traveled to secret lagoon based on the host recommendation, that did not disappoint!

Une prise électrique est également disponible pour ceux qui ont un véhicule électrique. Enfin la vue est magnifique depuis le salon, une vue immense sur la baie.

this place is truly a hidden gem. Definitely off the neaten path and not much around that's close food wise, but 1000% worth the extra miles to stay somewhere secluded like this with the magnificent views out the massive windows in the living room and kitchen. it is on the homeowners property, but once inside you feel like you are all by yourself out there. 2 bed, 2 bath and was there by myself but felt very spacious. the interior feels new and is updated with great shower and comfortable beds and couches. would highly recommend to anyone looking for great views and seclusion.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was very relaxing with a beautiful view of the sea right from the dining table. We saw a few seals and lots of varieties of birds. Kolbrún was very accommodating, letting us come 2 hours before check in time. It was pouring rain where we were traveling from so not conducive to exploring in that kind of weather. We were very happy to get in where it was homey, dry and relaxing.

Our stay at this cozy cabin was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially the peaceful forest surroundings—it was the ideal spot to relax after a day of hiking. The host was friendly and responsive, and provided clear instructions Highly recommend this gem!

Absolutely beautiful setting and a very quiet and peaceful stay. Exactly what we wanted. 😊 Located near several spots on our to-do list which was a big bonus! Would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay in this cozy cabin overlooking the water. We rented a 4x4 so the driveway was no issue. This stay was close enough to all the things we wanted to see but far away enough that we felt like we were alone in Iceland. Perfect size for a couple! Warm and cozy in March with spectacular views.

We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad. Het huis was prachtig gelegen. Het was onze uitvalbasis om de westfjorden te ontdekken. We hebben ook het geluk gehad om 3 nachten te kunnen genieten van het Noorderlicht en een hele week prachtig weer! Een echte aanrader! De hot tub is de kers op de taart!

Was an absolutely lovely stay! Thank you so much for the cold water in the fridge as well! We loved the knitted striped blankets!
