Bill and Nicole's house is immaculate and very centrally located in Decorah. They have thought of everything you might need for a stay and keep a very clean and attractive house. The walkability is excellent; easy access to the grocery store, coffee shop and several very good restaurants. With a little bit more walking it's easy to get to Pulpit Rock Brewery (excellent) and several more restaurant choices. The hosts are very responsive - we had a few questions about the house and they answered immediately. Overall this is is a fantastic place for a stay. Highly recommended.

This tastefully decorated space is clean, well stocked with necessities and thoughtful extras, plus it has comfortable beds and a very convenient location. Perfect for a weekend getaway with toddlers - Jamie even had kids toys and books for us! I would absolutely stay here again.

Brenda And Rod were incredibly kind, responsive and accommodating. The treehouse is in a beautiful setting and it’s so much fun! We will definitely stay again if you’re coming with Horses, they’re set up is really great

Jackie is honest about stair climbing and unique walk through from front of building to parking lot. Decorah does not have a homeless population so this was non issue. Safety was never an issue….anywhere…this location or trails. We are from a city and this hidden stair set up would not have worked in our hometown. Decorah is a thriving little town with arts , food, and brewery destinations. Locals are friendly and like to share information about town/events.The trail system is awesome. This is a good long weekend destination. Bed exceptional comfort. Bathroom very functional. Chairs looking out to study street below were greatly enjoyed. Main Street location led to great walk ability of the town. Downtown very quiet during night sleep time.

Hill Top House

Only a few minutes outside of Decorah, this AirBnB offered us quite a lot! We enjoyed hiking during the morning, visiting local shops in the afternoon, and having campfires outside at night. The view each morning on the hilltop was great. Would highly recommend for people who love the outdoors and are looking for a getaway with their family.

Fjord Farmhouse-Huge Backyard & Front Porch Swing

This was our second time staying at this home, and we enjoyed it just as much as the last time. We love the home's charm and the location. The swing on the front porch was the perfect place for a drink, reading, and bringing together our kids of different ages for laughter and conversation. Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to come back soon!

Springview Suite at Rustic Acres

The Rustic Acres property is just minutes outside of Decorah tucked away in a heavily wooded area with a small spring waterfall off the upstairs master, a stream winding through the property and impressive rock formations. There is a TV...I'm not sure if it works because I spent all of my time soaking in the beauty and relaxing in from of the wood burning fireplace in the living room. The feel inside is quaint and cozy, but with plenty of floor space and all the amenities for comfortability. I plan on booking again around the same time in Fall next year!

We loved our stay at Tusen Takk and we'd be excited to come back! This is our favorite home in Decorah because of the well stocked kitchen, the comfortable dining and living space, and the extras like puzzles and records.

Great place and great hospitality. Dan went above and beyond to make our stay great. We had 16 people between adults and children for a hunting trip to the area and the place worked perfect. Hope to visit again in the future.

Cedar Bluff Cabin

This was the perfect country setting to disconnect and recharge. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Outside, we were surrounded by trees, the sound of birds, and a running stream nearby. We loved spending the day just sitting on the wrap around porch and taking nature in. Thank you for making our stay the recharge we needed!
