Great stay at Julie’s caravan. Brilliant location, taking about 10 mins to walk to sea front. Stunning beaches with loads of rock pools for kids and endless sandy beaches! Would definitely recommend Thank you ☀️

Wow what a beautiful little find. The surroundings are just as beautiful as the place. Attention to detail with this property, felt like home from home. We enjoyed the real fire, the bedding was lush and the bath was to die for 🥰

The photos do not do the place justice - it is absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. So much bigger than it looked online too and we had a great stay. The only issue we had was that the hot water stopped working mid way through the day. Elizabeth was super helpful and responsive to the problem but we had to be in Newcastle for early evening so it meant 6 of our party had to have freezing cold showers one day as the water took too long to come back on. Other than that, I can’t fault it. Surroundings are beautiful. So peaceful and yet close to shops, airport (25 mins), a gorgeous spa (matfen hall), and a 35 min minibus to Newcastle. Would recommend to all.

We've stayed in South Shields before and love the seaside vibe and being so easy to get into Newcastle by car or public transport. Melanie's place is the best location, so handy for the beach, restaurants and transport. Lovely, comfortable, quiet flat, very well equipped and so convenient to be able to park right outside.

Really beautiful place and a great stay for a laid back weekend, lots a places nearby to vist as well. Debs was great and responsive to any messages too.

An absolutely beautiful air BnB in a beautiful location. There’s views of the sea from the property and property itself was stunning. Stayed with all of my bridesmaids the night before my wedding and it was the perfect relaxing stay. Super comfy beds and roomy bathrooms (two of them contained both a separate shower and bath, one half bath upstairs). Would love to come stay again <3

Another letter cancelled our booking on the day of our stay which had been booked for over 2 months. Not ideal when you have 5 people travelling 240 miles that morning to spend long weekend in Newcastle to attend a gig. Colin was able to accommodate us at his property and the previous cancellation was a blessing in the end! Colin's communication when booking and throughout the stay was excellent, helpful and proactive. The property is in a lovely area and was much better than the original property we had booked. Nothing negative to say about Colin or the property.....highly recommended for anyone needing accomodation in the area.

This was our second visit to Melanie's house We used it as a base to visit Beamish Museum which was only a few miles away. The house is clean tidy and well equipped. Would highly recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we felt at home from the day we arrived. The cottage was perfect for our extended stay (a month) and we will fondly remember our time in the cottage, Frosterley and the Weardale and North Pennines area. Our hosts were very friendly, laid back and made us feel wonderfully relaxed during our stay. The cottage was warm, comfortable and well appointed and ideal for our needs. We would definitely recommend River View Cottage and the other accommodation in the courtyard to family and friends and we would definitely consider returning in the future for another break.
