Beautiful house! Very nice spacious kitchen and living area. Biggest surprise was the larger than expected size of the pool. The photos of the pool on the listing kind of somehow undersize it. The photos don’t do the pool justice. Very nice pool and private backyard. Absolutely a great find vacation find.

We loved staying here and this will be our new go to play to stay! The location was great, the neighborhood was quiet, the dock was perfection and the back yard with the pool couldn’t have been any better. The house was clean and had everything you could need including being pet friendly. This will be our new place to stay for vacation!

Stayed for a week at this property and it was everything we dreamed of and wished for. The weather was fantastic which had us poolside almost every day. Savannah was an easy drive as was Tybee Island. Close to base so if you have a loved one at Ft Stewart, it’s very convenient. We would stay here again, hands down!

The home was very clean and fit seven people comfortably. The host thought of everything, and anything we needed was in place ready to go. Bicycles were in excellent condition and the pool was so much fun with the family. There was a closet full of games and lots of thoughtful books and movies for all ages throughout. The host provided advice on how to get the most out of our stay in the area.

We had to decide to chance the trip due to TS Debby. We checked in with realtor the morning after TS Debby hit. He responded immediately to our query and was on his way out to check the property. He managed to find someone to clean the pool, he indicated that services were up and running. We checked with a few local supermarkets and they were still stocked and opened. Had a small hiccup with one of the doors right after check-in and the maintenance man came right over. We were quite impressed at the level of service. The pool offered hours of fun for my three grandchildren 11 and under. It was great to have that option after spending time on the beach. It was a perfect 75th birthday with my family.

We loved staying here! Perfect location; walkable to both beach and restaurants. House also had everything you could want and the neighborhood is quiet! Definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed the location. The house is tucked back in a cute neighborhood and is an easy walk to local restaurants and shops. The house had a lot of unexpected amenities, and was very family friendly. The bedrooms were much larger than they appeared in photos, and we were easily able to fit two pack and plays into the room with bunkbeds. I really appreciated that the house came with lots of extra linens, trash, bags, and dishwashing detergent.

John was an excellent host. My family and I felt right at home. Would recommend.

Great spot! Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and great local restaurants. We stayed for a week and we would definitely keep this rental in mind for any future SSI stays.

Lisa is a great host, very responsive. I never waited more than 10 minutes before hearing back from her. Loved the place, it’s gorgeous just like the pictures, perfect for my family holiday get together!

We stayed 4 days at Steve & Lynn’s place. They even sweetly let us check in early. The place is great. Although we did not do much cooking, we truly appreciate the unusually well stocked kitchen especially for an air bnb . The grill on the deck was clean and you can see the ocean from the grill. The fenced in yard was super for our dog to run around in.

Cassie always goes out of her way to help we love staying there and will continue to enjoy it there. It is a beautiful place very quiet and we love to fish there or just hide out from the rest of the world.. Thank you Cassie for being such a great host.

Mackenzie was great. She was very good about communication via email. The location was perfect, 20 mins or less from great eateries and several beaches. The house was spacious with a beautiful view. My 6 and 7 year olds loved the bathrooms (specifically the shower) and my 10 month old loved the floor-length mirror! The sliding doors in the living room and bedroom provided beautiful natural light and we really appreciated the board games- Candyland and UNO! I highly recommend!

We stayed at this property evacuating during hurricane Milton. Kathy was very empathetic, responsive, and kind enough to let us check in early. The property was nice and clean, very quiet and great neighbors. Would happily stay here again whenever I come back to the island!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and plenty of space. The back porch was beautiful and big! Our only small issue was the home was difficult to cool but we were never "hot" so I didn't bother the host about it. The host allowed us a late check out and we are so grateful because it stormed heavily the last day while waiting for the ferry. Everyone is very nice and our stay was lovely.

We booked this house for my bridesmaids and I to get ready at for our wedding. It was beautiful and very clean. It’s in a great location to lots of great restaurants and shops. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

The house was great. A few items no longer work like the jets in the tub or the whole house sound system. However, the house was clean and wonderful to stay in. I would note we did not try to reach out about the tub or or the sound system because we were only staying for one night. We would say at the house again for sure.

We had the most amazing stay! This place was exactly what we were looking for, and everything matched the description perfectly. The location was fantastic—right near DeMere and Frederica Road, with many great restaurants just steps away or a short drive away. Nights were incredibly peaceful, and we couldn’t have asked for better hosts! This week was all about relaxation, and it exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to come back! We booked this home many months in advance for a wedding on St. Simons Island. We got more and more excited as the weekend approach. Still, this house (especially its location) to the wedding site exceeded our expectations. For our family, it was a perfect fit and very comfortable!

This was my second time staying at Derrick's place. And, I will be a repeat guest, again. Great location, easy to get to, priced at a fair rate, comfortable accommodations, the house is equipped with everything you need, and a very knowledgeable and helpful host. I could not think of a flaw if I had to, absolutely zero complaints and nothing but good memories. I do not know if it is possible to find a better host.
