This was the best place for my birthday! It was very relaxing and comfortable for me and my boyfriend. This house supplied everything you could possibly need. Even with our bad luck of bad weather we still had much do it! We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Starlight Serene was everything we hoped it would be! John was very responsive and helpful, especially as this was our first time using AirBnB. The pictures are very accurate, there were plenty of towels, linens, and a VERY well equipped kitchen - much more than we expected (or I have in my own house, I think!). Lots of nice bonuses to this place - my kids loved the firepit and there was wood on hand as well as a s'mores kit; the hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived. You are at the narrower end of the lake, but still a beautiful view with plenty of wildlife. The location is great - roughly 30ish minutes to Bear Mountain, Legoland, and the Palisades Center (which had tons of rainy-day fun for kids). We even rented a pontoon boat from Murphy's Cove Marina - Richie was really wonderful to us and our kids and they loved their first time boating and fishing on the lake. Six lifelong friends used this lovely home for a reunion, locally. It suited our needs perfectly. Having a downstairs bedroom and a full bath was helpful for one of us with mobility issues. House was clean and roomy. Host was communicative and responsive. Could not ask for much more. Would return!

The cottage was lovely and very comfortable. Simon left us detailed instructions and we had no issues in finding it and settling in. As the weather took a turn for the worse, we spent most of a day cozy in the house. Our dogs were also very comfortable and loved the large backyard. The house decor is very tastefully done, and not only looks great but looks like special effort has been taken to make everything comfortable and easy to use. Thank you for sharing your home!!

This place is absolutely awesome! My partner, my best friend, and I came here to celebrate a birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location! There was so much to do! Even on days when it was rainy, we had a ton to keep us busy and entertained! Baruch was very accommodating and provided awesome hospitality, making sure that we knew where everything was, how to properly get to and access different parts of the property, and checked in to make sure that we were enjoying our time. He was a fantastic host! This property is very private, so you can relax in peace, in the beautiful nature and architecture that surrounds you. We had an awesome time playing games like pool, life-size connect four, etc. Given the amount of space that this house provides, you can spread out to enjoy all of it, as there are four big bedrooms and three bathrooms! You can feel comfortable booking this place, as the price is very fair, and you will not be disappointed! Definitely book here when you can!

We had a fantastic time at Doug’s place. This is our second stay with one of his properties and they have both been amazing. The amenities, house, and yard were clean and well kept. The fenced in yard was awesome. It was such a relaxing trip and you can tell how much Doug values keeping his properties in pristine condition. We and our dogs had a wonderful time there and can’t wait to come back again.

Thank you so much Roxanne and Stan! This was the perfect place for my family including our dog. We had an incredible stay and loved every minute. My favorite part was waking up to the beautiful view from the kitchen. The place is so beautiful and we felt at home. My kids didn’t want to live and neither did my husband and I. We made precious memories here.

Perfect place for our busy family to get away and reconnect. We loved our time at the lake, enjoyed the hot tub and firepit, and of course quality time together in the comfortable cottage.

This was the best Airbnb I ever stayed in , very clean , perfect location, easy to get in , it really was Great i recommend this place to anyone comming skiing/ snowboarding for a couple days
