Awesome place to stay. Feels relaxing and in a secluded neighborhood. Food was tough to get as the closest restaurant is 20 mins out. But we purchased groceries prior to arriving (which host mentioned) and it worked perfect. Lots of nature and ocean. Loved it. Everyone loved the hammock and the outdoor spaces. LOVED the jacuzzi. highlight every night. The black sand beach which was clothing optional was pretty awesome - but kids didnt dig it as it seemed the place to go at the time we went. We found a taco place off the side of the road we recommend (10 min out). I think they have bands and events there too- chill vibes. And Uncle Roberts farmers market on wed nights which is close by was cool. def recommend for a relaxing time

WOW! This is hands down the BEST Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at! I booked this place having never visited this end of the island before and I couldn’t have been more impressed. Howard met us at check in and showed us the property and created the ambiance with candles and a fire pit going. His place was beautiful, peaceful and serene. The property is adorned with beautiful trees, flowers and fruit. Howard gave us wonderful recommendations and we even joined him and his friends at Uncle Robert’s for the weekly Wednesday night party! Howard is accommodating, warm, friendly and kind. The home is very private and the outdoor shower and bathtub were absolutely perfect! I feel like I’ve found a lifetime friend in Howard and look forward to visiting him again! Thank you so much for everything!!

We stayed 4 days here with extended family in the smaller home on the same property and it was great. The kitchen was well stocked, there was plenty of space for our family of 5 (larger group was 10 total) to spread out. The best part was the beach across the road with good snorkeling (stronger currents so be careful) and lagoon with turtles. Plenty of outdoor gear to borrow- SUP, kayaks, small boogie boards, water shoes and snorkel/fins. Would definitely stay here again.

One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Janice was so kind and communicated great with us. The view is even better in person and the house was bigger in person too! Everything pictured is better than you can imagine. We saw turtles from the cliff every day! Hot tub was fun and so were the games. Neighborhood was great for walks and everyone is so friendly. We did not want to leave!

Truly unbelievable experience at Robyn’s place! The view is spectacular and the photos don’t do it justice, you’ll just have to see it for yourself. Location is very convenient while providing great privacy, would definitely recommend.

I was there with my boyfriend for the week. The location was great! Within walking distance g distance to great restaurants and the best farmers market I’ve ever been to. The views are absolutely stunning. Watching the sunrise in the morning was so beautiful. We felt right at home. I would definitely stay there again! Thank you so much Carla and Joe! It was a little slice of heaven there.

Luxe was very responsive, friendly, proactive and understanding. The apartment is beautiful and the scenery and proximity to the ocean and great snorkeling cannot be beat

Great location for exploring the Hilo side of the Big Island. Shopping and restaurants were 20 minutes away in Hilo, and Volcano National Park is about an hour away. Also a great location for seeing the real world results of the 2018 volcanic eruption. Place was as described, and very beautiful.

I have stayed in a lot of Airbnb accommodations. This condo is the best. It it's perfect for one or two people it they aren't sharing beds. I love sitting on the balcony and watching the waves. I have been here multiple times and I am very comfortable here. Restaurants, market, and beaches are close and easy to access. I love staying here. Thank you!

I stayed at Hale Laule‘a for 2.5 weeks, and it was transformational. Week 1 in the Cottage, Week 2 in the Solar. I also toured The Banyan—all lovely! As a solo female traveler and Integrative Health Coach, I prioritized safety, nature access, reliable Wi-Fi, and quiet spaces to meditate, work, and be. This property exceeded all expectations, and I rarely saw another guest. The nearby walking paths offered breathtaking, crowd-free views of streams, jungle, and ocean—daily walks were a dream. The Olympic-size lap pool was always peaceful, and the rooms were beautifully appointed and had all I needed to prepare clean meals. For what you get—space, privacy, nature, amenities—the price is more than fair. Hosts Jennifer and Chad are generous, kind, and gifted at what they do. I canceled other travel plans to stay longer, and I'm already planning my next visit. Whether solo, a couple, spiritual, or not, this place is inclusive, peaceful, and deeply healing. 10/10 recommend!

Sonja and Alex are exemplary Airbnb hosts! They are thoughtful and attentive. We could not have asked for more! If you are going to the Big Island, do yourself a favor and stay in this beautiful oasis. My husband and I had an amazing time, Sonja and Alex left chocolates and fresh island fruits in our space and made us feel 100% at home. Future visits to Hawaii (big island) will be spent here. Gorgeous views and peaceful surroundings. I cannot imagine finding better accommodations. Beautiful, peaceful, perfect. Mahalo Sonja and Alex, MUCH ALOHA. <3

Our condo had a nice view and was comfortable, the location is great, next to beautiful lava pools and a beach park. We had a great meal across the street at Seaside!

This stay way absolutely wonderful. Such a beautiful and peaceful location. We really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and fell asleep nightly to the soothing jungle sounds. The host was extremely accommodating and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. This has been my favorite Airbnb stay by far! I will definitely be staying here again if I ever make it back to the islands !

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful ocean view. We even heard the whales at night! The location was convenient to Hilo and Volcanoes National Park. It was a treat to be here when the volcano started erupting. A bonus! Well apportioned and clean. Thank you!

Shiva's cottage was absolutely wonderful. We loved everything about it...the deck that practically overhangs the ocean, the house layout, the design-we especially adored the kitchen floor-the whole house was beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches throughout. Shiva was a pleasure to work with-very welcoming and great communication. The area is quiet and peaceful, which is just what we were looking for, after a busy week in Kona. Thank you Shiva for an amazing stay-we can't wait to come back!

Truly enjoyed my stay here. It was quiet, homey with high end finishes and an incredible view, even spotted a few whales. It felt like a home away from home. David the host was warm and communicative, and gave amazing recommendations for the best local food and snorkeling spots. I will definitely be coming back for a stay in the future.

Beautiful house across the toad from Kehena Beach. The rooms were beautiful and the bathrooms were immaculate. Kitchens were stocked with dishes, glasses and utensils and much more. Loved sitting on the lanai. Beautiful view of the ocean. Walking distance to the drum circle on the lawn. Just a fantastic stay!

Jim’s place was AMAZING! View was spectacular & home was so clean and cozy. Looking forward to the next time I visit Hawaii just to stay here again! Highly recommended. My family can’t stop thinking about our stay here. 10/10!!

This suite is only a few minutes from town and the host is very responsive. It is very clean, well decorated, has comfortable furniture, and high ceilings. The free parking is right at your door! If needed, you have access to an excellent A/C system. It is a great value!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and well-appointed home! The highlight was undoubtedly the stunning tropical ocean view—we even spotted whales and dolphins right from the deck! The location is fantastic, just a short walk to a breathtaking black sand beach (clothing-optional), though swimming is best for strong swimmers. The home is comfortable and has everything needed for a relaxing stay. As expected in the tropics, the environment can be a bit tough on materials, but that’s just part of the charm of being in such a beautiful, natural setting. The host communicated really well and has done a great job keeping the space welcoming and well-equipped. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway immersed in nature, this is a fantastic spot. We would absolutely stay again!
