My stay with Irene and Dudley was so special, what incredible hosts. The space is peaceful, central, really felt like a home away from home. I can’t thank them enough for a lovely stay 😊

Our stay at Cathy and Jono’s property exceeded our expectations. Cathy kept checking in on us while we were still on the way since the weather was not so favourable. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome, she had the heater on for us and gave us a guided tour of their stunning house that is beautifully designed and very spacious. Cathy and Jono went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. They were just a text/ phone call away whenever we needed something, and this truly made us feel valued as guests. Thank you for being such incredible hosts Cathy and Jono, this trip will always hold a special place in our hearts because of your warmth and hospitality. We cannot wait for our next visit!

Absolutely lovely flat. The linens, made by Camille’s company it turns out, were some of the nicest I’ve ever slept on — and I’ve spent a great deal of time in luxury hotels for work. ( If you’re local check out That’s Linen ). If, like me, you’re booking because it’s walking distance to stuff, be prepared for a workout on the way home. But hey, great views don’t come without steep climbs.

Paul and Lee were quick to respond and a pleasure to deal with, also gave great recommendations to nearby restaurants. The house is so cozy and outdoors beautiful and peaceful, just what we were looking for. Would highly recommend and amazing value for money. Will be back.

We checked in Friday afternoon with my family for the weekend. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The house is exactly how it looks as advertised, great view to wake up too and a walkable distance to the beach. The entire house is well furnished with fresh bedding and towels for us to use. Really an enjoyable place to stay at. The hosts were so friendly enough to let us check out abit later. I would highly recommend this place for everyone ( families and friends).

Michele’s place was a little hidden haven on the beach. It was absolutely fabulous. The house is exactly as described the beach access is perfect. 8 of us were there and did not want to leave. Zandile is absolute wonderful she made our stay even better! Highly recommend

Spectacular, from the location, the views, the beach access, space, and amenities, this place is heaven for those looking for a quiet, private breakaway to a pristine area just off the M4. Also close enough to Ballito for shopping. The house is perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy the view, and really does have all you need. Debra was also an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

This was an absolutely awesome house to stay in. The reason being, it was a home. With all the amenities for a superb stay. The garden and pool area is simply a sight to behold. Susans attention to detail and her ability to guage what we required, her openness, flexibility and kindness was something we were not expecting. This made our stay extraordinary. Jannes place is was perfect for myself and my 4 legged companion. We both felt right at home immediately and Janne was quite quick with responses with the very minor questions I had. Jannes place is definitely something to book if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, well kept space. Definitely keeping this listing on a short list for future Durban visits. My family and I had such a delightful time during our short stay at this beautiful and peaceful cottage. Every detail of the space is so thoughtfully done, it truly felt like a home away from home. My son was absolutely thrilled to be there; his excitement was infectious, and he couldn’t stop dancing with joy! Britt is an exceptional host. She is kind, welcoming, and incredibly professional. We feel so fortunate to have had the chance to interact with her and experience her warm hospitality. This stay will hold a special place in our hearts, and we’re already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended!

Thank you for the stay at your cottage and assistance with the extra fence over the gate it really helped us to relax and feel at home knowing our small dogs could not get out. Our dogs are escape artists. Host is friendly, helpful and attentive. We would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway in the Durban area.

We absolutely loved this apartment, it’s exactly like the photos. Very clean and warm. Mpume was quick to respond and so helpful as well as the staff they were so friendly and helpful.

Ridgetop Cottage was exactly what we needed for short stay. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Fallon was very helpful throughout and we were very grateful that she even let us stay with a stray kitten that we had picked up a few days previously.

Quiet, private, and spacious place. You can’t beat the freedom you get staying here. The location is a plus if that is the vibe you’re looking for. It even has a terrace! I’d love to come back in the future. Thank you.

The place is very neat and clean. You literally feel at home.

The host was very understanding and accommodating to my family and myself when circumstances beyond us hit. That is something no amount of money can cover. The humility and humaneness that of the host will always stand out. The accommodation is simple, clean and offers all the basics for a good stay. We are a family of 4 so the place was adequately sized.

We loved staying here. The apartment has lots of space, is clean and comfortable. Karin is a friendly and helpful host. The balconies are lovely and we saw the monkey family who live in the area. would recommend if you don't like soulless resorts, like us and instead would prefer the trees and wildlife

Trevor ands Andrea were very accomadating and approachable hosts during my stay. The location is lovely, and though a bit chilly at this time of year, plenty was readily available in the house ensure that my stay was a comfortable one! I brought a pet with me on my stay. Though the were not allowed on carpeted areas, my hosts were very considerate and helpful towards ensuring that his little holiday was a comfortable one too. I hope to stay again sometime!
