Perfect for our family of four! The cottage was beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked. Loved the wood fireplace and available snowshoes for hiking through the snow. We had an amazing day at Arrowhead (about 30 min away) skating and snowshoeing. My 8 year old daughter says “It was awesome, when can we come again?”

Our stay at Stella’s lakeside cottage was nothing short of magical! The winter scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with the peaceful lake creating a serene and cozy atmosphere. The cottage itself was warm, inviting, and impeccably clean, making it the perfect retreat from the cold. Stella was an outstanding host—super responsive, thoughtful, and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From enjoying the snowy views by the fireplace to taking refreshing walks by the frozen lake, every moment felt like a true winter escape. Michal is an excellent host who responds quickly and is very accommodating. Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our time there. With pool table, foosball, hot tub, sauna and large yard, there was lots to do for everyone, young and old.

This modern cottage is a treasure on a quiet lake in the perfect location to still be able to get groceries but feel like you’ve escaped the city. We will definitely book again.

The host responds very promptly. However, disposing of trash is a bit inconvenient as it takes about 15 minutes round trip, and you need to pay $3 per trash bag. It’s recommended to dispose of the trash before checking out, not after. If you have a friend waiting in the parking lot while you take out the trash, they might rush you. Communication with the host was smooth and responses were quick. I wouldn’t recommend staying here in the winter as the heating isn’t great. It would be nice if each bed came with a comfortable duvet rather than just blankets. When the outdoor temperature is 7°C, the bedrooms can feel cold, but everything else was good.

We had a great stay overall and everything we needed was there. The location was what makes this place amazing, very close to trails, perfect place for people coming to ATV/SXS. Some negatives are several things needed to be updated, including the shower heads, chairs in the kitchen were wobbly and ping pong table had broken paddles so you can’t play. Other than that, I would return to this place again.

We had a wonderful stay in a cozy, well equipped and spacious cottage with a beautiful view on the lake. Our host had everything ready to make our stay the most comfortable. We enjoyed hiking in the snow on nearby trails.
