We had visited “the creek” previously and have returned because the setting is so calm and peaceful and the apt is so cozy and comfortable. Kristy is quick to respond and very accommodating with any requests. The deck is wonderful although the winter weather made it a bit chilly to sit out. We did walk along the creek both mornings as it was sunny but brisk. This tranquil spot is very close to our son so we hope to return.

Angel's place is fantastic, especially if you have a short term assignment at the Capitol etc. I had only just moved to the area and used it as a home base while I looked for a permanent place. It's very thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for an extended stay - laundry detergent, ziplock bags, paper towels, sponges. There is a good sized closet with some hangers, and a full length mirror. The bed is comfortable. As some others mentioned, it can be a bit loud from the traffic outside, maybe fine for some but something to consider if you are sensitive to noise or a light sleeper. If you need extremely reliable high speed internet for a work from home situation, the internet might not be stable enough. I found it was fine for most things but struggled with some video connection.

We loved our stay in Harrisburg and would definitely return. Danielle's little apartment was convenient and cute, perfect for our needs.

My husband, sister and I stayed at Cory's place last weekend. We were in Harrisburg for our 4-month old granddaughter's baptism. It was our first time visiting Harrisburg but won't be our last! We loved the apartment and it had everything we needed for the few days we were in town. The location was wonderful, close to the river, and downtown, all a short walk! Cory provided restaurant suggestions, which was welcome! As luck would have it, I had the chance to meet Cory and talked with him about his other rentals. He invited me in to see one of the other rentals in the same location, which as lovely as where we stayed. Cory's messages were always friendly and nice. He's the same in person! We will definitely be back and I will be contacting Cory when we visit! Highly recommend Cory's Airbnb to anyone visiting Harrisburg!

Our stay here was wonderful! Trey was a fantastic host and was quick to help out with what we needed during our stay. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Having a highchair for our little one was a really helpful bonus! I would highly recommend a stay here.

Jim's place was great. Bright with lots of wibdows, and tidy. Full kitchen with everything needed for cooking. Jim responded to emails in a couple minutes, sometimes sooner. Great place. Great host. Great value.

This is our second time coming to Harrisburg and our second time staying at this location. We love the area that it is in and how close to it to everything. The place is comfortable and affordable. Absolutely will stay again when we are back in the area!

A lovely weekend with family was spent in a clean and spacious home, with many updates and a beautiful view of the lake. Sara responded immediately to our communications and offered any assistance we may need, but the home provided all we could have wanted for our stay. Thanks for helping us create some family memories while enjoying your lovely home and gracious hospitality.

We absolutely loved this house and the super peaceful yard and creekside. Great location 10 minutes from downtown state college. Such a cozy beautiful farmhouse. We can’t wait to book this place again!!

This was the second time we stayed at this house for a family gathering. As it was 2 years ago, this was a great place to enjoy a winter weekend. The house is easy to get to, very clean, with comfortable beds and linens. The kitchen was easy to get around, and the fire pit outside near the lake was great for us. All in all, a 5 out of 5 for all of us, and we'll definitely come back.

We loved sitting on the sun porch with the view of the river. The home is close to town, yet private. I enjoyed walking my dog on the paved path that runs by the property. The home was clean and well equipped. The rain showerhead was great! Jesse was welcoming and we felt at home.

This place is perfect for a quiet get away! If you love hearing rustling water of a creek, and if you love to fish this is a great location! This a great spot for anyone going to an event at PSU..Close enough but peaceful! John was responsive from the beginning when we made our reservation, to prior to our arrival our instructions on check in/checkout. Upon arrival there was a binder with great recommendations of restaurants and things to do. And this little cabin was just so cozy, just like the pictures! We thank you John and family for letting us use your home and hope to be back soon!

Cozy spot with peaceful Elk Creek in the backyard. A nice location to range for trout fishing opportunities - easy to Penns and Big Fishing creek.

Jeff was compassionate with the reasons we needed to stay in Harrisburg last minute. He was accommodating to my check in and check out times due to my situation. He made sure the house was warm (mid winter) with the lights on. The gorgeous high class decor was appreciated as well.

We rented for the weekend to decompress and enjoy the company of some friends. It was a great place to do so. The home is very welcoming and the surrounding area is beautiful. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice relaxing spot!
