Excellent place and a great host. Id would highly reccommend!

We had a great stay at Quiet Time. The house is in a quiet, peaceful location in the beautiful Raquette Lake area, and was clean, cozy, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. We appreciated the comfortable beds and enjoyed the back patio and fire pit and 2 spacious living rooms and dining room. Carla was a responsive host.

Kim was a great host and very responsive. She also allowed us to check in at an earlier time on the Friday. Her home was very clean and had a sufficient number of beds for our party. Would definitely stay again.

Sweet Adeline Lakehouse has everything! We were looking for a peaceful stay to admire the fall foliage and get away from our high-pressure jobs for a week. This well-appointed lake house met all our needs, with an elevated deck, private dock, kayaks, a fully stocked kitchen, and great location near tons of hikes, breweries, and sleepy country backroads. We enjoyed the sunset over the lake, hiked up a mountain for amazing views, and were able to see a comet! The hosts provided excellent instructions and were highly responsive. Cannot recommend this place enough!

House was just as advertised was very comfortable. We only used two of the five bedrooms and we never heard the other occupants. We had to bring or pay extra for sheets and pillowcases ($35 per bed ) which surprised us.

Our visit surpassed our expectations! There was so much space and we had everything we needed in the house to feel perfectly comfortable. It was a really enjoyable space for all of us and so much bigger than we thought. The private property is so very beautiful and The house is well equipped with everything we needed. Can’t wait to stay again! We’ve already recommended to friends and family and know they will enjoy it as well! Thank you!

Had a great stay , the cabin is exactly as advertised. Situated within mountain and rolling hills the surrounding environment and nature is breathtaking making the cottage location perfect for hikers or anyone that wants to relax and enjoy the peace . Everything is clean and functional, kitchen is fully stocked as well . Robin and Curt do a great job at hosting;communicating and providing a lot of useful information . The s’mores kit is a great welcoming present as well . 5/5 highly recommend and will return .

Second year staying here, highly recommend for a getaway with your spouse. It is charming and cozy. The view is amazing no matter the weather outside. The owner is super responsive and helpful. The house has everything you need to make your meals. I love that the cabinets are all labeled so you’re not playing a guessing game. I look forward to our stay next year!

Great location for moderate hikes and small town feel.

Wonderful cottage right on 4th Lake with beautiful views. We had a wonderful time staying here. Kristine and her husband were very pleasant and had excellent communication. We would definitely come back.

You cannot go wrong staying at Covewood on Big Moose Lake. The cottages are adorably comfortable, the staff frienly and helpful and the area has more hiking, biking and paddling than you can shake a walking stick at. Highest recommendations for a classic ADK getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay. This was exactly what we were looking for - a cozy peaceful cabin surrounded by nature. Diana was very helpful and she made sure we had everything when we spoke. The cabin is right by the lake and we found plenty of outside things today even though local places were closed for New Year’s eve. We checked out local family owned ski area and did snowshoe hike up the mountain. The place has a wood stove which added wonderful cozy feel to our stay. Everything was clean, very tasteful and made us feel like at home. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful location. The host is very responsive. It was great to have the 3 kayaks to access the lake. We paddled and did the first carry at the Santanoni Gate House 3 times. There is great hiking close by. We explored Tahawus and hiked Mt. Adams from Upper Works. We hiked Goodnow and Owl's Head along with making a parking reservation at the AMR lot and hiking Indian Head. The house is a wonderful ADK camp. The screened in porch is lovely. A brand new fire pit was great for campfires. We purchased kiln dried wood at Stewarts in Long Lake and fire starters at Hoss's. It has a fully stocked kitchen which was great because we cooked all of our meals at home except for one. We ate at The Harris Lake Lodge next door; check it out! The service and food was great. The geese love the front lawn and in true ADK experience there were some mice. Sand was responsive and swift in helping us.

Had a great time staying here! The place was immaculate and had so many amenities. Loved using the fireplace on the back porch each night. Heather was super responsive and so helpful with everything. Couldn’t recommend this place and Heather enough. Thanks for a great time!!

We had a great, long weekend getaway at Brad & Tony’s cabin. The pictures don’t do their place justice! Well appointed, very clean, newly renovated with outstanding design. Close to outdoor attractions or just relax at the beach. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a great location, close to Speculator and surrounding locations for hiking and enjoying the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. Erika was helpful and responded quickly.

This was my second time staying at The Good Life cabin and it was just as nice as the first! We took the recommendation to go to Uncle Carl's Coffee and it was great.

Our group really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect walking distance into town. Stephanie was very communicative and answered all of our questions. We would love to come back in the future!

My family of 4 stayed here for a long weekend. 2 adults and 2 teenagers. It was a perfect spot for a family winter get-away. Well appointed kitchen, games, etc…. Beds are comfortable. Well supplied with towels, blankets and kitchen linens. Close to Oak mountain for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. We really enjoyed the house and the location. It was a winter wonderland!

This is a beautiful place! The cabin is warm and cozy. The views of the lake are wonderful. Despite the chilly temperatures outside, the cabin was warm. The electric fireplace provided ample heat and created a warm, cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. There is also a very nice set of barbecue tools for grilling outdoors. Upon arrival there were some welcome snacks. All amenities are as listed in the description. There is also a nice array of wine glasses and cocktail supplies. There are many opportunities to enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks within a reasonable distance- hiking trails, Tupper Lake, Lake Placid. The view from the cabin is great. Sitting at the firepit also provides a good view of the lake. The location is very private and peaceful. Martin is a wonderful host. He was very responsive to all questions prior to and throughout our stay. I highly recommend this location.

This was the second time we stayed here and once again it did not disappoint. The host is property is amazing. We had a wonderful anniversary and were lucky enough to catch a clear night with a view of the northern lights. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you, Rachel.

Andrew and Bonnie were perfect hosts. The cabin was everything we expected. It was a beautiful place to relax and unwind after our daily adventures. It was equipped with everything we needed as well. Highly recommend and looking forward to staying at their cabin next year.

What a beautiful cabin/home nestled in the woods. Fantastic location, great house, very neat and clean. The decor is really nice and cozy. Great fire pit, and really easy to get to the lake. The view from the house is breathtaking. Lisa is very responsive--emails returned very quickly to answer all questions. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice weekend on a lake.
