Halcombe : locations de vacances

It was an absolute joy to be hosted at Mark's whare. It's a home away from home, well taken care of and well loved, but also very beautiful. The Decor is stunning and it was so easeful to stay for a week. We also forgot an important belonging, Mark went out of his way to make sure it was returned. Just a straight up good host.

House was well equipped and very spacious.Lovely large back and front gardens.Bus stop nearby but not many buses so we used taxis into town and back. Host was very helpful on the two occasions I called her. There were only 2 of us but would be great for a family. We enjoyed our stay.

Wow.! This is such a great place. Stunning views, immaculate presentation with everything thought of for guests including bread, cereals, jams, wine & chocolates. The house was warm and inviting and I could look at the view all day (the price you pay for the stairs).

Beautiful place, this is a perfect getaway. Johnny’s place is beautiful, peaceful and very well kept. Kids enjoyed the horses around and enjoyed the greenery and free area to run around. We brought their little bikes with us and they loved biking on the grass. Johnny was super responsive and helpful.

Clean & tidy space, would definitely recommend

We arrived late afternoon to find Troy had lit the fire for us. So welcoming to step into a nice warm house. We enjoyed everything about the place: the beautiful character home, quiet tree-lined street, breakfast on the sunny back deck, and the lovely garden.

We had a great stay. The place was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. There was a fully fenced backyard which was perfect for my dog, the sofas were super comfortable for relaxing, the beach was just short 10 minute walk away. Brenda was super flexible and accommodating, when we had an extra person turn up on our second night Brenda allowed them to stay at no extra charge. Would definitely stay again.

We spent a night at Tricia’s place on route to Taupo from Wellington - above expectations and not long enough - absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. The most amazing view - would not hesitate in going back.
