Great value for money. Room was lovely, a little small but it worked out great for us staying 2 nights.

Great place, very clean and recently renovated bathroom. A little distant from nightlife and other hotels on the main street, but it makes it a quieter spot (still close to pretty much everything in the city) so I highly recommend this hotel!

Great value for the money. Go eat at Yummy nearby - cute local restaurant, food is so good and so cheap!!

We had such an amazing stay at the Blue Lagoon. The location is set back from the main road and very peaceful. Hai is an incredibly thoughtful and responsive host - it was my partner’s birthday and he made us cocktails on the house and helped us to order takeaway to eat at the Airbnb (we loved the setting so much we wanted to have birthday dinner in)! When it rained overnight he left an umbrella outside our cabin for us and when we wanted coffee the morning we were leaving he made them for us on the house as we had already paid. The coffee is incredible and Hai gave us a tutorial of how to make it ourselves when we get round to buying our own filter. The dog and cats are gorgeous and so friendly, we miss them already. The only issue we had was with the sewage smell from the bathroom, which other people have previously commented on. Despite this we thoroughly recommend staying here!

A real pleasure to spend a few days in a quiet place like this. Wonderful views of the river from our room, tranquillity and good seafood are the perfect combination for a few days of leisure. Thanking the kindness of all the people who work because they treated us as part of the family. We were invited to dinner last night and everything was delicious. We hope to be able to return some day. Highly recommended.

This Airbnb was very clean and was in a great location, walkable to everything in town. This town was quieter than many places we stayed during our travels but there was still plenty of things available. There is major construction on the bay, but you can't see or hear it from the homestay. The lady who checked us in was very kind and incredibly helpful in getting us a ride to the airport via taxi and ferry. The host was responsive as well and helpful!

Kien’s place is great! I made mistake with check in dates and he has been very helpful and accomodating. The space itself is beautiful and very relaxing. The lake view is unique and spot on! All the people working there have been truly nice and welcoming. I would highly reccomend this place!

Host was nice and helped when needed. Location is great, burger banh mi and cafes in the corner, nice to walk around during sunset. Room was fine, windows and balconies

Tres beau logement, tres propre et abec tous ce que vous avez besoin, tres belle piscine. Près des restaurant et bar. Personnel sympathiques. Nous avons bien apprécié notre séjours.

We got the bus from Hanoi to Cat Ba and reached the Island via cable car. We were dropped off near the accommodation but took a little to find as we were looking for no.5 but best to look for no. 74. there is a small sign then you take a small lane around back to find no. 5. also we contacted Huong who helped us with directions as Google maps wasn't a great help. other than that all was fantastic. Huong and her family very helpful. will book trips/bus/taxi. whatever you need. No grab on island.

This place is a gem on the island. It’s getting more and more developed around the bay and perimeter and I was looking to escape that. Mission accomplished. The staff is wonderful and helpful and I rented a scooter to go to the national park and that was great. They also organized a day tour to the much less visited than Halong Bay, Lan Ha Bay, as well as organizing my transport back to Hanoi. Highly recommend!!

Cute little getaway in Tuan Chau, nice comfortable room. Beautiful views from the roof. Not much going on in the near area but perfect for a night if you're catching the ferry.

The Green Pearl Hotel was a great place to stay, pictures were accurate and room was nice and clean. Definitely would recommend!

The accommodation is in an easy-to-find location. The view from the room is very beautiful, and the room is clean. Manh is a very friendly host. It is very convenient to visit many places by walking from the accommodation. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Cát Hải.

Thu Ha was bijzonder vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen in Aromahouse in Cat Ba en daarna volgde een adembenemende boottocht naar Cat Hai. Onze bagage werd met de bromfiets opgepikt door Mai en na een korte natuurwandeling arriveerden we in het Ancien House. Voor ons leek het wel een droom. Je stapt langs een klein schilderachtig poortje een paradijs binnen. Het decor is adembenemend met hier en daar enkele gebouwtjes die de tand des tijds nauwelijks hebben doorstaan. Hier adem je gewoon authenticiteit. De inrichting van ons verblijf was sober maar vooral stijlvol. Het comfort is beperkt maar de unieke omgeving compenseert alles. Dit is bij uitstek een plek om tot rust te komen. Ook de kok verdient een pluim. Het eten was er heerlijk. Mocht het niet zo ver zijn, gaan we zeker terug!

Very nice people, super helpful getting a lost phone back. Always there to help out and arrange transport or activity. Located in a good area, lots of food to get around. Great stay! Thanks so much again!

Ce logement apporte la sensation de vacances que perd l’île avec les nombreux travaux en cours. C’est une bulles de paix avec un hôte adorable. Des animaux sont présents ce qui est agréable. Et les horaires sont très flexibles permettant d’arriver et d’attendre son bus tranquillement. Sa position centrale peut être vraiment un avantage. Nous avons pu marcher jusqu’aux différentes plages même si le logement n’est pas le plus près de celles-ci.
