We loved our stay here! The location is great very close to the ferry. Loved the open air area! It’s close to bars/restaurants but we didn’t find it too loud. Would recommend staying here.

We really loved our stay here. The view is beautiful and it is very peaceful. The home is about halfway between the Public Ferry dock and town. it's a fairly steep, but short, walk up to town or down to the docks, there are a few restaurants in both locations. It is easy and quick to take a Tuk Tuk in either direction. There are some large stairs to get down to the door. This is not a great option for anyone mobility impaired but it is great for everyone else. It was perfect for us and we would absolutely stay again.

I stayed here on glorious week and could have stayed another. The place was exactly as described and the rooftop deck/kitchen was an amazing place to work and chill. It was a 50 yard walk to the lake and only a 5-10 walk to the main tourist area. It’s also about as peaceful as San Pedro gets. Town has a party vibe so you will still hear music at night and the occasional dog barking but nothing that even cheap earplugs can’t handle.

I felt immediately at home in Tzanabaj! Nico and Venus are great hosts and I loved my studio! right by the lake, peaceful, while also close to the city center (10 min tuk tuk), where the restaurants and supermarkets can be found. There is also a beautiful community living in the other houses, so you can have your privacy and socialise with other like-minded people if you want. Totally recommend!

This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

Un excelente lugar!! Ideal para vacacionar en familia. Un lugar cómodo y privado. La piscina limpia y grande, muy cerca de la playa con sillas y todo en buen estado! Lo recomiendo mucho! Tuvimos problemas con la luz que era inestable pero por problemas en la zona y aún así el anfitrión estuvo muy al pendiente y llamando a Energuate para que lo arreglaran pronto lo cual agradecemos mucho! Si ven esta reseña, 10/10 este lugar para sus vacaciones en Monterrico 👍🏻

Es la segunda vez que vamos toda la familia y nos encanta la casa, por lo que ofrece y lo bien ubicada que está. A los niños les encanta la piscina ya que tiene un espacio para los más pequeños. Seguramente volveremos en las próximas vacaciones o antes.

Vanessa's place is just like heaven, beautiful surroundings and she kept with new improvements all the time. The quality service that Rudy provides ( the house keeper) is awesome, he is always attentive to our needs and is very polite. We have booked Vanessa's house 3 times now, and are always happy to come back every Spring break.

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay! This is truly one of my favorite Airbnbs I have been to. The location couldn’t have been better—the house is located on the sand and within easy walking distance to the rest of town. If you’re looking for luxury and high-end amenities, this might not be your place, but if your goal is to relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy the beach in a laid-back spot, it’s perfect. The pool is small but great for lounging with a book, and we appreciated that someone came by to check the chemical levels during our stay. The hammocks and string lights in the yard added such a cozy, peaceful vibe. It was the best spot to unwind and listen to the waves. Olga was a fantastic host and a great communicator. She made everything super easy and stress-free. I’d definitely recommend this spot to small families, a group of friends, or really anyone looking for a chill, beachy getaway. We already want to come back!

We cannot overestimate how much we ADORED La Casa en la Piedra. Most gorgeous place we have ever stayed. Wonderfully chill and quiet - waking up in the morning with a view over the whole of Lake Atitlan was priceless. Really well equipped, clean and comfortable - Albert was a brilliant host and sent us so much information before our stay and was v responsive when we were there. Thank you thank you thank you for creating this gorgeous slice of paradise ❤️❤️❤️

La casa es maravillosa, con muchos ambientes y cosas para hacer en familia hasta lo de la fogata estuvo increíble. Estuardo el guardián un 10. Erika fue de mucha ayuda en lo que respecta limpieza. Nos encantó.

Incredible setting! The kids were delighted with the pool and wanted to just stay there all day. We took advantage of the poolside massage services. The beach is very steep, so it was more of a backdrop than an activity. This is on the third floor with no elevator, so keep that in mind if you have issues with walking. The restaurant is delicious and open from 8 AM to 9 PM every day. If you need to do laundry, it is not in the unit and it costs 25Q per machine use. If you have a vehicle to travel on your own, this is about 25 minutes away from main street Monterrico. We booked a sunrise mangrove tour and horse rides at sunset; both took place down there.

If anything, the photos don’t do this place justice. Absolutely stunning views and right on the water. The staff are incredibly attentive and would often message me in the morning to check in and make sure everything was okay. The bar/restaurant on site is a huge plus since this airbnb is outside of any towns - although San Marcos is not too far away. I will definitely be staying here again next time I come back to the lake. Do not hesitate to ask if you need a Tuk Tuk to a nearby town, a boat to a further one, or even a car to the airport. They have contact info for all of that. Highly recommend.

Absolutely magical! This place exceeded all expectations. The views are absolutely breathtaking — the kind that make you stop and just take it all in. Kayaking on the lake was an unforgettable experience, peaceful and beautiful in every way. The restaurant food? Incredible! Every meal was delicious and clearly made with care. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. From the warm welcome by Mr. Vicente and Noelia to the kind ladies in the kitchen and the attentive night security guard, everyone made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was so relaxing, we truly didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to come back — highly recommend!

This place was a nice place to relax, AC was a huge plus. Very clean. The patio was very nice to sit and eat. Only downside was no drinks near the pool.

I highly recommend a stay here! The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive always and the property itself is beautiful. Incredible views, great food, and options for activities. Can’t wait to come back and stay again!
