Gros Islet : locations de vacances au bord de l'eau

JJ's Paradise was one of our favorite locations we stayed at during our 1 month long holiday in St Lucia. Marigot Bay is not a place you stay for doing a lot of hiking; it is a great place to stay for relaxation and wonderful, lush setting. Our room was beautiful and came with two king-size beds - we really liked that one was firm and one was plush so we picked the plush one. The resort is really nice with a pool area that we spent a lot of time at. Mangrove restaurant onsite and on the water was actually the best restaurant of all the places we ate in Marigot Bay. The other stand out item was the free breakfast that came with our room every morning- it was really good and very filling!! Also, the staff, including JJ himself, Tricia, Roger our ferry driver (the ferry is also free) and Kerry who brought us to our next accommodation are all amazingly friendly and made us feel like we were part of the family. Highly recommend this place!

Nadia’s place is very good for people who like privacy and also want to stay close to the shopping malls and restaurants. This place is 2-3 min walk from Reduit each and a 10 min walk from the main Rodney Bay mall and Massey supermarkets. We enjoyed the pool some nice mangoes on the property. The approach road to the property needs roadwork and we need to be careful when it is dark. On the whole, we loved this property and would highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway.

We had a great family vacation in Marigot Bay. The location was incredibly relaxing and in total synch with the surrounding environment. The apartment was perfect - spacious, private, and well equipped. We made use of the gym and pool at the Zoetry daily, while also taking excursions to the north and south of the island. It was overall a great week.

Great location for walk to the Reduit Beach and Maries Fish Shack. The spacious balcony meant we had all our meals there and could enjoy the fabulous birds of the island. The air con was a saviour in the evening on returning from the beach. Tricia organised a taxi to and from the airport for us so it was very convenient.

It's a beautiful place with an awesome pool and a short walk to a very nice beach (shared with the nearby Sandals resort). I did have a bit of difficulty locating it, as Google Maps sent me down a different road. It's easy to miss it, but once you find it there's no problem finding it again. The place is excellent, well equipped and well maintained. I would absolutely stay here again.

Doris was such an amazing host ! Her place is nestled in the hills overlooking Rodney Bay and Gros Islet. As soon as you cross the gate to her house you know you are in for a treat. The place is beautifully decorated in a boho esque fashion and everything is super cozy. The views are to die for and on a clear day you can easily see the mountainous landscape of Martinique on the horizon. The location is peaceful and quiet and her place exceeded our expectations. Doris was really helpful from the get-go, super responsive and was happy to give us recommendations throughout our stay. She even greeted us with a home made banana bread and fresh fruits upon our arrival. Would definitely come back !

Thank you Lauvina and Calvin! The beautiful apt far exceeded and beyond my expectations! My initial inquires prior to arriving were met promptly and thoroughly. Calvin greeted me within the very moment of arrival! Walking into the apt was truly a visit to paradise beginning with the breeze shimmering through the sheer floor length curtains, the gorgeous accommodations along with the lovely personal touches incorporated throughout the apt. The view and the surprising full wrap around balcony was breathtaking. Its quiet and serene in very sense of the word. Thank you both for your kindness and the extraordinary stay! My return is a must!

Très beau logement, résidence sécurisé et paisible. Les salles de bains sont très grandes. Il n’y a aucun défaut. C’est une pépite rare à SteLucie. Kimberly est une hôte très sympathique, toujours prête à aider, très arrangeante ! J’espère vite refaire un séjour chez elle.

What a perfect place for family, friends and/or kids. Walkable to all of Rodney Bay but the space and yard are so welcoming you could easily enjoy your company at home base. Hosts are super responsive and helpful, would love to come back.

Highly recommend staying at Nya's while in Soufriere. The location is perfect. Walk in to town, nearby restaurants, and the beach. My friends and I enjoyed our trip and this beautiful cottage.

Sherman & Kishmer are wonderful hosts, and made us feel very welcomed. They readily provided lots of suggestions for outings/restaurants etc., and Sherman was available to taxi us to the attractions located out of town, as well as pick-up and drop-off for the Airport, which made for a seamless trip. River Breeze Villa has all the amenities you need for a pleasant stay in Soufriere (a safe and friendly destination) and is ideally situated to visit the local attractions, enjoy the beach vibe and interact with the locals. Having the beach, shops and restaurants all within easy walking distance was a treat for us. The front porch is a great area to relax ,along with all the hubbub of daily life: cheery beeps, dogs, chickens and roosters, singing and conversations all melding into the sound of Caribbean life. Sherman & Kishmer's hospitality is top notch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was easy to feel right at home. Highly recommend staying here.

Our stay at Villa Pineapple was truly exceptional. Jasmine was a gracious, professional, and attentive host. The villa is beautifully maintained with a spacious open-concept kitchen, vaulted ceilings, and elegant decor throughout. After exploring all of Rodney Bay on foot, it was clear this property stands out in every important way. The private dock facing the marina is a rare and peaceful highlight—perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. Though centrally located, the villa feels completely private and serene, with a fenced-in layout that offers security and seclusion. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, from the layout to the amenities, and the fast, reliable internet was a plus. We had an entirely positive experience and are already looking forward to returning. Thank you, Jasmine, for a truly memorable stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this waterfront condo. Enjoying the view of the harbour while we sat out on our patio for meals was awesome! The beds both in the king room and twin room were very comfortable. Being just a 7 minute walk to the fabulous Reduit Beach was a highlight for me as I am an avid swimmer and the beach was perfect for my morning swims. As we prepared most of our own meals, the kitchen was fairly well stocked and the supermarket just a 10-15 minute walk away. Dominic's recommended driver Andre was fantastic ...very reliable for pickups at the airport and shuttles to the ferry terminal for our trip to Martinique. Tout les équipements nécessaires étaient présents et la machine à laver et vraiment très appréciable ! Très bien placé ce logement nous a permis de profiter au maximum de la Marina et de toute la côte Sud. à recommander sans hésiter. Merci!

I was in town to look at a boat in the marina across the street. This place worked out perfectly for my needs.

Le logement etait parfait pour notre famille avec 2 enfants. Il est propre, les équipements sont parfaits, la terrasse est très bien pour prendre le repas dehors. 10min à pied du centre ville en logent la mer.

Logement conforme à l'annonce. Consignes claires . Très bon accueil de Christelle. Petit port de pêcheurs à 10mn à pied...

Valérie avait pris le temps de nous indiquer clairement comment se rendre au logement et même sans GPS, ça été très facile. Le logement était super!!!! Propre, bien aéré, bien équipé (même une glacière à notre disposition). Nous avons profité de la piscine et de toutes ses commodités. Très beau ! Plein d'oiseaux. Magnifique!!! Nous avons pris nos repas sur notre terrasse. Quartier tranquille comme nous aimons. Merci à Valérie pour tout.

Nous avons adoré loger dans le logement de Colette. l'emplacement est incroyable, une très belle vue sur le rocher du diamant. Paisible, bercé par le son des vagues. L'appartement est agréable et fonctionnel. Colette ainsi que sa fille sont d'une grande gentillesse. Nous reviendrons et recommandons fortement ce logement.
