Grenadines : locations de vacances en bord de mer

This place totally matched my dream house for a Bequia vaction (this was my second trip to Bequia, so I "get" the island's quiet, low-key charms.) A few steps from a quiet beach; private, beautifully landscaped grounds, yet in the middle of a friendly local community that kept a quiet and supportive watch over me. An easy half-hour walk into the bustle and vibe of town, yet a century away in ambience, recalling the classic vacation living of a bygone year. The house is an absolute classic, beautifully furnished with tasteful furniture (gorgeous antique beds!), easy care surfaces, and a sweeping veranda for eating and lounging...and yes, the hummingbirds are for real. This is not a house for those who demand high-tech facilities. No microwave or dishwasher; simple, functional double beds, adequate but not state-of-the-art internet. But for those who treasure "real" island life, the intentional simplicity is a plus, not a minus. Can't wait to go back!

Wonderful location and so spacious!!!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The location and accessibility is exactly what one would want for a stay Bequia. The house itself was beautiful, clean and very spacious. We had a wonderful stay and thank you to our host.

Great place in a great location. Very close to the beach. Beautifully appointed, very comfortable apartment and really enjoyed use of the swimming pool and the roof terrace for sundowners. Good Wi-Fi and very comfy bed!

Vi bodde i leilighet 1 (1 soverom) som ligger i en del av 2 etasjen. Bildene samsvarte med hvordan leiligheten så ut. Vi opplevde at den var godt isolert og hørte ingen lyd fra naboene når vi var inne. Ellers er det et rolig og fint område. Som verten opplyste om er det ikke et fullverdig kjøkken, men grill og en kokeplate med gass. Terrassen med spisebord har utsikt over bassenget og skog. Også fin takterasse. Vi var ikke plaget av mye mygg. Vertinnen og manager svarte raskt og hyggelig på henvendelsene vi hadde. Svært kort vei til stranden, 70/80 meter. Fint å snorkle på den enden som er nærmest huset. I tillegg er det en tennisbane rett nede i veien som man kan leie. Vi fant info om det og mye annet som foregår via Bequia this week -nettsiden. Ca 25 min å gå inn til Port Elizabeth langs strendene og Belmont walkway. Det er flere restauranter i nærheten, og på Petra’s kan man normalt bestille brød til dagen etter. Vi bor her gjerne igjen!

We stayed at Serenity house for 4 days during Easter holiday. Location of property to beach (lower bay beach) was excellent literally 1 minute from the house. I also appreciated a fruit vendor right at the entrance of our street, you can’t beat fresh coconut water and fruits daily. The house is about a 10 minute walk from Jacks Beach bar and princess Margaret beach (the walk up the steep hill is tiring but very much attainable) I truly enjoyed my stay. My only request is that they put a time for pool hours operations as there were some other adult guest staying upstairs and they were operating the pool at 3am till 4:30 am with outside guest.. which obviously is disturbing for others who are staying on the ground level . I would Definitely rebook again and Recommend to others

I can’t imagin a better place to stay at in Union: amazing beautiful views, exquisite and cozy decoration, clean, perfectly located, and with the best host! Corina helped us with everything we needed and gave us great reccomendations, she even had a lovely gift for us at the end of our stay. We’d love to be back! 🌴😊🌊

The villa was as described and just perfect for what we wanted. The hosts facilitated a last minute early check-in due to flight changes and were responsive to messages prior to our arrival. Taxi rides to the town are very reasonable at 25ECD each way. There's some great walks from the property and the Firefly estate is only a 2 minute walk for drinks and food if you don't fancy cooking. The property is in a quiet peaceful location yet only a short 5 minute taxi ride away to the town and nearby beaches. We enjoyed our stay, would recommend to others and would stay again!

Outstanding views and beautiful location!!! It was so quiet and remote which was exactly what we were looking for. Pretty much everything we needed was available in terms of a comfortable stay. The swimming pool located basically in the middle of the living space was spectacular! Morning coffee watching the sea turtles in the cove was such a delight. We rented a car from Deborah at Affordable Jeep which made our island stay excellent- plus I'm not sure how well we would have managed in the torrential rain storm without Deborah's service the night we arrived. Only negative, which isn't a reflection on the place but rather something to understand, there is no escape from hot muggy weather except to the air conditioned bedroom. We had 5 days of pretty warm and humid weather, which was fine, but the living spaces and kitchen are definitely "al fresco". We loved it, but be warned if the private outdoors (and all that comes with that) is not your thing. I'd love to come back!!

The house is very nice with great views on a quiet road. The beach (still in rough shape from the hurricane) is basically right across the street. Carol was great and everything worked well. Great place and location.

Location was perfect, walking distance to everything you could possibly need in Bequia. Our view was incredible, we overlooked the beach and could watch the sunset from our deck. The staff were so friendly and someone was always around if we needed anything. We had an awesome time borrowing one of the kayaks and going for a little paddle. Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Bequia.

Beautiful home, amazing views. We had a wonderful time. Rose was a brilliant host, kind, responsive and gave us lots of suggestions of places to go and things to do! We will be back again and again! The property is immaculate, easy to find in a safe location. We also got to Meet other guests who were staying at the same time as us and they were great too!

I stayed and travelled with Christine and Roux for 5 nights as a sole woman with her two children I felt very well looked after safe and comfortable. They were wonderful hosts and very accommodating to both my children and I. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. After the ferry we were supposed to take did not stop at our location they went as far as travelling through the night to pick us up at a different location. Christine’s food was amazing and the many sights we were able to see will stay with my children and I for a lifetime.

This was literally the best place I have ever stayed at. It was much more than I expected much bigger also. The beds were comfortable and the view at night time was breathtaking. The kitchen was well furnished which was amazing. The bathroom (something I look at before saying anywhere) was just too cute. Each room was bigger than it looked form the pictures and at night time it was cool and relaxing. I already recommended this place to my friends and I am thinking of another vacation already so that I can stay at Lee's home.If your looking for something up to date with style and modern with a fantastic view this is the place for you. A quick tip.. Lee's response back to your questions or concerns while staying are incredibly fast.

This is a great apartment with a balcony overlooking the prettiest beach. A popular snorkeling area is at this beach. Walking distance to 5-6 local restaurants/bars and a short taxi ride to the grocery store, ferry. Due to the proximity to the restaurants, taxis are easy to get around the area. You check in at Keegan’s, which also has a beachfront restaurant/bar with sports playing on the TV. The staff are friendly and helpful. I will definitely rent this apartment again.

The location is excellent. On the beach. The water was crystal blue and perfect temperature. Very calm, perfect for swimming. AC worked effectively. 2 separate bedrooms with a shower in each bedroom. No insect problems. Very quiet at night. There is almost no traffic on the road. The local restaurant has very slow service but the food was reasonable. It takes about an hour to an hour and a half for food to be served after ordering. AirBNB was excellent is correcting reservation problems when our reservation at another location was suddenly cancelled due to plumbing issues.

Calmando is a fabulous place to relax while listening to the waves crash on the ocean below while staring at the stars on the pitch-black nights. While Bequia is quiet in general, Calmando is located on the other side of the mountain from the main town of Port Elizabeth making it even more quiet and private. We heard nothing but the singing of the gecko's and the waves at night. The host on the island, Edwin, was great. He answered all of our questions and was there to meet us at the dock despite our constantly evolving travel plans (airline delays, missed ferries etc.). My wife and I have stayed in AirBnb's all over the world and this villa had one of the best-stocked kitchens we have ever experienced. Nothing was missing. The internet was fast and reliable contrary to the previous negative review. We would 100% stay at Calmando again.

The property has a couple of steps down from it and you are onto the beach at the far end of Lower Bay. It is the perfect location for a quiet beach holiday, right by the sea, away from any modern developments. Lower Bay is probably the nicest bit beach on Bequia with beautiful light sands, turquoise seas and palms just beyond the porch. There are several fine local Caribbean restaurant / bars along the beach (De Reef, Keegans), and up in the hills just above the bay (Dawn's, Fernandoes). The property is a typical local house in a good area of Bequia, with some modern equipment in the kitchen, Wi-Fi and A/C's to the two bedrooms, which all worked out fine. The porch has good loungers and looks out to the beach beyond palms.

Just had an eventful stay at Gingerbread for Hurricane Beryl. All the time we felt safe and supported by Hayssam and the team. We really cannot thank them enough for all their attention and hard work. Definitely recommend

Irvin place is a typical Caribbean style accommodation. Literally in front of my favorite beach in Bequia (lower bay), where you can see a multitude of fishes. You can easily walk to all the others beaches, bars and restaurants. Definitely for who love to cook their own food, the kitchen has everything you need, from different types of pot and pan to blender, toaster and oven. For the rest it is realistically described from the owner.
