Amazing place! If you're looking for a calm stay away from the most touristic areas this is it. Lovely decorated and close to a perfectly empty beach. We really loved it, hope to be back soon. Can totally recommend this place especially for families.

Al Nisaa Hotel and Spa was a pleasant surprise in Jinja, with great service and outstanding spa services. It is a small boutique style hotel with clean and spacious rooms, one of which had a tub, which I booked. The room with a tub does face the street, so there is traffic and mosque noise early in the morning. The rest of the rooms are in a separate building adjacent to the main building but further away from the street, so much quieter. I had several massages and the quality of therapist was excellent. The staff helped with food and activities. Would definitely choose to come back.

Amazing combination of cute cozy rooms with enough privacy, extremely close to the beach with more than enough space on the laying beds and at last a perfect restaurant where we ate all of our meals during the stay 😳. Because there were so many options to choose from for a good price, we didn’t even bother to go somewhere else. W’ill be back!

We loved staying here! The accommodations are comfortable, peaceful and great for the price! The food is delicious and you’ll be stuffed full the entire time! I’ve been traveling and living around Tanzania for almost 8 years. I can say this is some of the best home cooked food I’ve ever had! If you are needing to stay near the airport, this is the best option!

We had an amazing time at Liza’s villa! It’s a very beautiful house, especially the pool area and the rooftop. Liza provided a lot of information about the house and the area beforehand, which was appreciated.

Erg vriendelijke mensen. Het hostel zag er goed verzorgd en schoon uit. Het blijft natuurlijk iets basic met een joude douche en simpel ontbijtje, maar dat was ook precies wat ik verwachtte. Belangrijkste was dat het gewoon een erg fijne plek was

Utupoa made me feel so at home, that I didn't want to leave at all :) I stayed for a week and felt so welcome. Joyce is an amazing, kind and very cool woman! With soo many interesting storys, I could listen to her for hours. But not only Joyce was great, her staff was lovely as well and helps with everything. The food is very delicious and freshly cooked. Utupoa is so, so beautiful with a fascinating garden and a huge mainhouse, with lots to see. I love, love, loved the view! The beach is great aswell and much quieter than other places, with viewer beachboys. Snorkeling is awesome with plenty of sealife to see. Mnemba Island is not far away and a must do for diving or snorkling - breathtakingly beautiful! I enjoyed the dinners with the other guests and Joyce, we had lots of fun. I met super cool people :). Utupoa is a home away from home with so much character, heart and sunshine. I would go back any time and hope I can one day. Asante sana Joyce!

Beautiful Bungalows in great Location Right at Kivu lake. Walking distance to Shops, bars and Restaurants. The hosts are super nice and hospitable and make you feel welcome Right away. Also GREAT massage and super tasty breakfast!!! No WiFi but just enjoy the view :)

My husband and I had previously stayed in Saidi and Sarah's other available room, but moved to this accommodation when we extended our stay with this lovely couple. Having experienced both options, I wish we rented this room for longer! This room was fabulous. It is quiet and cosy and gets a great breeze through the space. The mattress is extremely comfortable. It was a comforting and restorative place to go back to at the end of the day. The breakfast provided was delicious. The location is easily accessible to the bus, tuk-tuks, and multiple markets. It’s a quick walk to the beach and to good restaurants. Sarah and Saidi are amazing hosts who made my husband and I feel extremely welcome, supported, and comfortable in Jambiani. Truly, we would have been lost without them and their welcoming and kind nature. We hope to return to Jambiani again, and when we do we will certainly return to this room!

Beliggenheden er absolut helt perfekt. Tæt på Victoria søen med den bedste udsigt. skønt at sidde i denne lille have og nyde den skønne natur. Steinar og hans søde kone er så dejlige og man føler sig som en del af familien når man opholder sig i Oslo Gardens

Jua House, exudes calm and tranquility. Pale colours and clean spaces invite book reading, chilling and time to unplug. Amani and his team couldn’t be more helpful. Hot showers after a morning swim in the sea, Belgian waffle towels and a banquet style breakfast was our daily morning routine. After this we retreated to the top floor with views all around. The hush of the sea stirs in the background. Fresh baking bread wafts up from the bakery on the ground floor. Village life occurs around about, so you feel part of the Shela community, who are welcoming and helpful. It feels like a privilege to be here in Lamu. Thank you.

Simba und sein gesamtes Team haben sich zu jeder Zeit um einen gekümmert, egal ob es mitten in der Nacht war oder ganz in der Früh. Die Unterkunft hat mit die beste Lage auf Zanzibar, da man sich ganz entspannt am nahegelegenen Strand Sonnen kann oder doch abends mal zum ausgehen in die nächste Stadt fahren kann. Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man braucht. Das Essen ist super. Simba sorgt sich nicht nur um seine Gäste sondert hilft seinen Mitarbeitern bei jedem Anlass, das kriegt man nicht überall. Wir freuen uns solche herzlichen Menschen kennenden zu dürfen.

Catherine went above and beyond! We stayed for a night during our flight layover. She picked us up and dropped us off from the airport. She allowed us to stayed later than regular check-out until time for our flight. She even taught how to cook a local dish and gave me some spice to take home and try cooking it! I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Beautiful stay at Lalacabana, room was gorgeous and clean, beach was a 2 minute walk away with wonderful restaurants, and the amenities were everything you need and more (lovely pool and even lovelier restaurant for great prices). Thank you Lalacabana!

Eine wirklich süße Unterkunft. Die Besitzer sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Lage ist sehr ruhig und friedlich. Wir waren insgesamt 8 Tage hier zu Gast und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag anders, immer mit einem Teller frischem Obst und gutem Kaffee. Das Wasser in der Dusche ist etwas salzig aber nichts worüber man sich beschweren sollte. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und kommen gern wieder.

The place was very beautiful, green and nicely quiet. I really enjoyed my time there. The food was also verr good, well prepared with generous portions. The staff was friendly and ready to assist at all times. I had an activity some distance away and when I had car trouble they sent someone to come help me late in the night. All in all I had a very good experience here and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Our family had an exceptional stay at Paul’s beautiful home. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the serene setting and expansive, well-appointed spaces. The house was immaculately maintained, with Grace, the housekeeper, ensuring everything was spotless throughout our stay. On Paul’s recommendation, we hired a private chef whose delicious meals elevated the entire experience and allowed us to fully unwind. The pool was pristine and perfect for relaxing, and the location offered both privacy and convenience. A truly luxurious retreat, we would absolutely love to return

We enjoyed our stay. Seraphine and JP are very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and there is access to some common areas. It's also nice to support a women's cooperative. Location is good - close to restaurants and not far to the Volcanoes NP HQ (25 mins).

Dies war der beste Aufenthalt, den wir je hatten! Die gesamte Unterkunft ist wunderschön, komfortabel und mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Sie wird stetig optimiert, obwohl ich nicht weiß, was in Zukunft noch besser werden soll. Der Pool und die Klimaanlage runden es perfekt ab. Der Service war herausragend und das Essen fantastisch – frisch, individuell zubereitet und der Koch versteht sein Handwerk. Jeden Morgen kann man sich sein Frühstück abwechslungsreich gestalten, es wird alles möglich gemacht. Auch Mittag- und Abendessen vor Ort lohnt sich extrem! Die organisierten Touren waren perfekt abgestimmt und haben unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht. Der Guide und alle Fahrer waren immer pünktlich, zuverlässig und haben uns auch zu den Insider-Attraktionen gebracht. Die Hosts sind unfassbar herzliche Menschen und versuchen alles möglich zu machen. Meine Familie war von meinen Erzählungen so begeistert, dass sie nun auch gebucht hat. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!! Absolute Empfehlung

I enjoyed my stay, a very peaceful neighborhood and accessible to nearby stores. The host was very kind and the hospitality amazed me, would definitely booked again next time in Kigali. Highly recommended!
