A Loft amongst the Gum Trees

Please note owners are onsite adjacent to guest accomadation. Located only a short 7 min drive west of Apollo Bay along the iconic Great Ocean Road and nestled amongst the gum trees. It is a rare day when you won’t spot a koala on the property. The Loft is spacious and adjacent to our family home. It is located above our shed, with private access and courtyard at the rear. The property is full of wildlife along with our animals... sheep, chickens and our dogs Honey and Cleo and cat Spot!

Our quirky little cabin comes complete with your own Nordic Spruce barrel sauna & spa to rejuvenate your body after exploring Forrest by bike or foot. The cabin & BBQ cabin are all yours to enjoy & are connected via a leafy walkway. MTB trails are on our doorstep, ride/walk into town in minutes or just chill & enjoy the sauna & hot tub. With ocean and forest views and a tranquil wilderness setting, "Moonlight View" cottage near Johanna Beach is a perfect resting place for Great Ocean Road travellers and holiday-makers. This 2 bedroom self-contained cottage with balcony, is attached to my owner-built bluestone home on a 5-acre piece of paradise. The Otway National Park edges the property, creating a lovely atmosphere of seclusion and peace, also enjoyed by birds and wildlife.

Escape to Sunnyside

Sunnyside is located just off the Great Ocean Road approximately 15 minutes from Apollo Bay. A fully private and self-contained loft studio offers panoramic views of the Southern Ocean and sits in amongst the Otway rainforest treetops. The property has over 10 acres to explore; an olive grove, an orchard, a mature oak forest and stunning walkways combining both pasture and native surroundings. You may even be lucky enough to meet our resident Koala! A one-of-a-kind experience awaits.

Sky Ships have extensive views of the Otways and Southern ocean. They enjoy all of the luxuries that have made Sky Pods so popular. Each Ship has an adjustable remote control queen size bed fully surrounded by floor to ceiling windows. A projector with a 100 inch screen and a Sonos blue tooth speaker with free wi-fi. High quality kitchen appliances including a bar fridge, stovetop, microwave convection oven, Nespresso machine, smeg kettle & toaster and reverse cycle heating & cooling.

Welcome to Forrest a beautiful part of the world. Our studio is a short stroll to the town centre and a 5 min walk to the bike tracks. The studio is a part of our house which has a separate entrance and is divided by a huge deck. The studio has an open plan living and dining space with a cosy wood heater split system and fans. A small kitchen with 4 gas hotplates,microwave and fridge. Barbeque facilities are on the deck for your use and a lovely garden for relaxing .

The Misty Dunes Woodshed

Named after the iconic Peterborough coastal sand dunes located 2 minutes away on the Great Ocean Road, this upcycled woodshed came to be when we, Bronte and Hayley purchased the 2-acre property at the start of 2020. Handmade from mostly salvaged and recycled products, what once was an old corrugated woodshed, is now an eye-catching and unique space, made with the sole purpose to relax, escape and appreciate the perfect blend of bush and sea.

Blackwood - Cosy Forest Hideaway In Lorne

Blackwood is a one-bedroom cottage set on Gadubanud country, amongst the Great Otway National Park. The cottage provides a place to unwind and enjoy all that the local area has to offer – beaches, bush walks, waterfalls, eateries/bars and cellar doors to name a few. Blackwood offers all of this at its doorstep while providing a sanctuary for rest and relaxation in a beautiful bush setting.
