Walk, cycle, kayak, swim. Book-lined lounge/study with sofa bed, double bedroom, kitchen, shower room, access to secure back garden with fish pond. Dogs welcome if friendly to mine.

A piece of paradise awaits you here set in bucolic surroundings of green fields with sheep and birds for company. Awe inspiring views towards Arran’s mountains and close to one of Scotland’s best beaches. A place to escape to and slow down.

The Coach House at Hawkstone Lodge

The Coach House sits in the grounds of Hawkstone Lodge which dates back to the 1850s. The accommodation provides a bright and airy living area on the upper floor with scenic views to the south across the Firth of Clyde to the Cumbrae Isles. Seals and occasionally otters can be seen along the shore. The ground floor comprises an entrance hallway leading to the bedroom and bathroom with stairs up to the living area. The bedroom looks onto the spacious garden area to the rear of Hawkstone Lodge.

Open all year. For couples, 2 friends or solo travellers . Dogs are very welcome. I expect to be at the lodge to meet you when you arrive. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Enjoy. Seal Cabin - A wee piece of Scottish Luxury

A Victorian Cabin perched on the banks of Loch Goil. Enjoy a picturesque stay over looking the breath taking Scottish Highlands. The Cabin consists of a walk in wet room with toilet and a very well equipped kitchen. Within the kitchen you will find a fridge, stove, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and crockery. The living Room has a TV and Log Burner - with French Doors out to the decking area. The double bedroom is up on the mezzanine level which you access via a ladder.

Fencefoot Farm

Accommodation is in a spacious 2 bedroom Victorian house, built in 1870. It is part of a courtyard with a deli, smokehouse and award-winning seafood restaurant. The house is beside the A78 road, backing onto the Fairlie moors where you can find walking, cycling and hiking routes up Kaim hill with outstanding views of the Clyde coast. Ferries to Arran / Millport / Dunoon / Rothsay are close by (Ardrossan 15 minutes drive, Largs 10 minutes). Licence number NA00037F.

You will be surrounded on all sides by fields, woods or mountains but yet be close enough to pop out for a coffee and cake at the local village or taste a wee dram at the Glengoyne whisky distillery.
