Green Cove Getaway is the perfect spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday. It is nestled next to lush green woods just across the road from the Virginia Creeper Trail and three miles from the Appalachian Trail. Located in the Mt. Rogers National Recreation area which provides opportunities such as fishing, hiking, biking and horseback riding. The house is cozy and has a full size private pool and screened in area with hot tub which allows relaxation with family and friends.

Across the road from the River Bend Wedding Venue, we have convenient accommodations for guests. We are just minutes away from the public boat landing, where you can enjoy a slow float down the river and just relax, or if you prefer, the fishing is great here. Tons of local festivals and old-time music events. Take a short drive and see the wild ponies.

This 120+ year old cotton mill house has been taken down to the bare bones and completely renovated. Enjoy breakfast and coffee in the fully equipped kitchen! Outside adventure awaits with a short walk to the New River, Town Park, Historic Fries Theater and The New River Trail. Once your adventure is over, relax on the deck with a soak in the hot tub, sit by the gas fire or cook on the gas grill! Lots of love went into reviving this sweet old house.
