River Trails Cottage

Have fun with the entire family or a group of friends in a quiet peaceful setting. The cabin sits on 2 acres and attaches to 8700 acres of public land that is open to hunting, hiking and abundant with wildlife which makes this property great for the outdoor enthusiast. The property is 6/10 mile from a public boat landing where you can fish, kayak or canoe the Wisconsin River. There are multiple parks relatively close that offer excellent hiking trails. Direct access to miles of ATV/UTV trails.

Hello, my name is Jeff. Farmhouse Getaway has been in my family for 50 years. I have been a farmer/electrician for 30 of those years and my family still use the property for family events and overnights stays. The house had a remodel/modernization in 2022. After the changes, I decided to share it with friends and just recently with the public. The home includes 2, full bathrooms, 4 beds, a full kitchen, and ample parking. City lights are faraway. Enjoy what the farmhouse has to offer!

After a fun day in The Driftless Area, come relax and unwind in Prairie du Chien. Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom home with a spacious kitchen, large island, dishwasher, washer/dryer & 5' walk in shower. We supply all cooking/baking items/utensils so all you need are your food, drinks and ingredients. Full high-speed internet with smart TVs in both bedrooms and living room. Outdoor pool (seasonal), hot tub and massage chair. We love dogs too, so we provide a dog run (there is a pet fee).

Unplug and get back to nature

The log cabin was built as a place to unwind, relax, and truly unplug. Nestled among 15 acres of rolling hills, the cabin can serve as a place to hunker down and read three novels, or a home base for hiking, cycling and putting the nature back in your life. Be advised, there is NO television and that’s for good reason. Cook, drink, eat, play, relax and refresh yourself. Wake up to the songs of birds and listen to the owls at night while you’re warming yourself around a bonfire.

Crooked Creek - Relaxation Cabin

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis in a serene valley. Surrounded by tree covered bluffs and a meandering creek. This quiet cabin is a great getaway from everyday life. This quaint 1 bedroom cabin has hardwood floors and a gas fireplace to cozy up to. Or maybe you'd rather be outside under the stars sitting around the fire pit. Whichever you choose, you are sure to find complete relaxation. We invite you to step away from the hustle and bustle at our country retreat.

Ridge River View Acres - The CozyCabin

This CozyCabin is perfect for a couple looking to get into nature and relax. This 12x18 cabin has beautiful views of the pond and surrounding acreage. Hike the 48-acre trails, take a dip in the pond or paddle around on the kayaks or paddleboards then catch a beautiful sunset from your private patio and firepit or dock. Mini fridge and microwave located in the cabin. Take the loft ladder to your queen bed and sleep comfortably with heat, AC, or bountiful fresh country air.

Nature Lover's Retreat(No running water)

If you want privacy and are looking for an experience, this is your place!! Secluded and peaceful. Hiking trails and beautiful scenery. Grant River runs along the borders and is known for tubing and kayaking! Plenty of other local attractions. Sit on the screened in porch and listen to nature all around you. This is a camping experience without the tent. Come relax and let nature de-stress you! ***Can accommodate 1 night stays Monday-Thursday

This home is equipped with a sun room and outdoor seating of the famous overlook in Balltown, IA, perfect for sipping morning coffee/tea or enjoying a peaceful evening sunset. Kid and pet friendly! Sleeps 7 comfortably, 12 max with 1 couch, 1 rollaway, and 2 floor mattresses.

The Guest House

Come stay in the heart of the Driftless Region. A true outdoorsy delight. Minutes away from exceptional trout fishing, canoeing, and miles of river road. Public turkey hunting across the road (see picture). All town and county roads are open to UTV’s and the snowmobile trail runs through our property.
