Grand Manan : locations de vacances avec terrasse

We had a terrific, peaceful and relaxing time at Whale of a View! The house was comfortable, clean and had a wonderful view of the water and we appreciated all the different sitting options. Screened porch, beautiful deck, picnic table and around an outdoor fire pit. Beds and furniture were comfortable, kitchen clean and had all the utensils/appliances that we needed. Campobello Island has a lot of different places to explore, hike, and soak in the beauty.

This was our first time visiting Grand Manan, and after our stay at Alex's place, it certainly won't be our last!! right from booking, Alex was very responsive, with local recommendations, to even calling to see about Kayaking for us. Our stay was during the off season in Grand Manan and the weather for 2 of the 3 days was less then ideal, but we still managed to get around and visit some local spots. This airbnb is located maybe 5/10 mins from the Ferry, making it very convenient, close to a convenient store as well as their local Independent grocery store. There are a few games provided as well as binoculars !( witch came in handy when we seen whales in the bay out back !! ), The hot tub was immaculate and was a great way to keep the serenity after a peaceful day of exploring. We will most definitely be back, especially once the hustle and bustle of touriat season comes around ! if your looking for a place to stay, we definitely recommend Alex's place ! A beautiful, peaceful stay in Lubec! We hope to come back someday and rent the large main cabin as well. It is a great location to relax by the beach and explore Campobello Island. The pictures were accurate but just an FYI for anyone who has a someone who snores or has kids in the family- the two bedrooms are only separated by an open doorway and a curtain - you can hear everything from the other room. 😆

Alie is attentive to her emails, responds quickly. Place was immaculate, beds vey comfortable. Enjoyed the privacy, just what we wanted.

The host was so easy to work with and my schedule had shifted and she was open to the change of days (even suggested it), which made the experience all the easier. The house is close to the downtown area, pretty easily walkable if you are there during the summer, and the street has always been quiet.

This is our third stay at Jessica's house. I prefer to stay here when in Lubec because you can walk to the beach, coffee shops, and market. The house has everything you need for cooking and it is comfortable and cozy. Even though there are houses nearby, it is quiet and peaceful. And Jessica has always been friendly and helpful.

Kurt’s place is always an awesome stay. The wood burning stove makes it really comfy. The views are amazing, truly. Remote, private, peaceful.

Me and the kids love this place so much. A retreat house at its finest. The jacuzzi is a bonus and the best spot. We'll be back for sure!

Peter's place is a gem - all the conveniences, new construction and still somehow a feeling that you're in an old cabin that's been around for decades! The layout of the place is so simple and clean that it felt totally uncluttered, even though it has all the amenities, including a washer/dryer in the bathroom. Those of us familiar with Downeast Maine know that distances are greater than they seem - ten miles on the map might take thirty minutes of driving through the willywags to get there - and that's part of the charm. Lubec is a little oasis of old and new, scruffy and modern, and guests at Peter's place can be there in 30 minutes, if they like. There's no shortage of beauty on the shores of the lake, and hiking trails and lighthouses abound. At night the loons call out. Whatever you choose to do, slow down the pace of your heart, take a few deep breaths and enjoy the quiet balance of old and new at Peter's charming cabin (with all the conveniences) on the shores of the lake.
