Governors Island : locations de vacances

We stayed at this beautiful home in our hometown while dealing with an insurance claim at our own house, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The space was incredibly comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Our hosts were so kind and accommodating, making a stressful time so much easier. We’re so grateful for their hospitality and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a homey and happy stay.

We had a lovely long weekend at Natasha's gorgeous home. Spotlessly clean, with modern upgrades and appliances. The layout is a bit unusual as the house has been renovated and split into at least 2 units. Located on main road into Swampscott, with a view of the ocean (across the road) out the front windows--very beautiful even in the middle of winter! We had snow 2 out of 3 nights, and on the first of these there was a gentleman outside shoveling the driveway and back steps around noon. But by our check out time (noon) on Monday, nobody had cleared the snow. Got our car out ok, and we cleared off the back steps so we could bring our luggage out. There was conflicting info between the listing and what we were told by the owner re check-in and check out times--we messaged owner (twice) to clarify check out time and never heard back from her, so called her on check out morning--she apologized and honored the original listing. Info in owner's instruction booklet at house needs updating.

We absolutely loved our stay!!! The house is just perfect, with all the amenities you could possibly want, and such amazing views and a peaceful/relaxing feel. We really enjoyed the neighborhood, and of course being right on the water. Beautiful sunsets! And I can’t say enough great things about Erin & Steve…such helpful, friendly, and responsive hosts. We would love to go back and stay with them again!!

Simon elevates hosting to a whole new level and provides a tough act to follow. He pays attention to detail and has carefully considered and included all the things that will make you feel both welcomed and comfortable. The home is spotless, very modern and tastefully decorated. The linens are of a great quality and the beds are super comfortable. The master shower is wonderful, and Simon has so thoughtfully provided amenities in the bathrooms and the kitchen. The location of the home is great in a quiet neighborhood with parking spaces provided. The home has lovely natural light and even great views out of the windows. Both Simon and his home is a standout and so far, my best experience with Airbnb to date. Simon goes above and beyond to make your stay a luxurious one and by that, he makes it hard to leave but easy to want to return to.

We have had a lot of luck with AirBnB, but Valeri's place was the best so far. Literally across the street from beach access. A great restaurant next door with several others in easy walking distance. Minutes from Salem and Marblehead. The rental was fantastic. You could and picture it as being what you would want in a seaside vacation getaway or second home. Everything was clean, stocked, and organized. Beds were comfortable, and it was just a really all around relaxing environment. Loved the decor! Valeri was very nice and gave great local recommendations. I don't check to see if she's a "super" host, but she's number one for me. Loved our weekend getaway and would absolutely book again.

What a peaceful, quaint, and cozy place to stay and unwind! The skylights and windows highlight the surroundings and let in so much natural light. There were so many cute and enjoyable details/ amenities like books, board games, candles, coloring supplies, and hot tea that really enhanced our stay and encouraged us to relax.
