Really cozy place. Hosts were really kind and thoughtful. The house was very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Started the Christmas holiday right by spending several days relaxing in this delightful rustic cozy log cabin that was well-equipped w/ a full kitchen, extra amenities, games/puzzles, TV apps, & a well-functioning pellet stove & space heaters. Loved the host's extras, like the festive holiday decorations, goat milk soap & lotion, and fresh hen & duck eggs. Enjoyed walking around the beautiful property & stream and visiting the friendly farm animals (chickens, ducks, farm cats, guinea hens, goats, & working dogs). Quiet scenic location off the beaten path & surrounded by BLM lands. Scenic drive to/from Stanley for recreation & nordic & snowshoeing. Plenty of walking trails near Challis. Lamb's Market grocery store & gas stations easily accessible. Highly recommend dinner at the Real Deal Smokehouse for delicious pulled pork & tri-tip. Very hospitable hostess who was a great communicator. Would happily spend another holiday in this cabin!

It's just as described, but more private than we expected. It's over the garage separate from the residence. We never heard a sound from anyone. The main road is a great road bike ride--about 5 miles with gradual slope. The setting is beautiful. Furniture is comfortable with lots of pillows and blankets. Exceeded our expectations. We will stay again.

Great tiny house. Saw lots of birds and wildlife. Wild turkey, deer, Flickers, Doves, woodpeckers, geese, ducks. It was a nice hideaway near the Salmon River.

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this place. We went for a weekend to get out of town and it was amazing. Sitting on the porch, listening to the river while drinking coffee was so wonderful. She had the sweetest dog who would come visit every morning and it definitely made the trip better. Also, the toilet seat was heated so that wins. The only downfall was no smaller knives for steak and no bbq tools. At least that we could find. But, if you want a quiet place to reset this is it. Go here, you won’t regret it.

Loved the large living area. Our grandkids were thrilled to see the deer and bunny rabbits. This was by far the nicest place we have found to stay so far in Challis. Since we are a three-generation family, we really needed two bathrooms and a functional kitchen. The laundry room with the updated washer and dryer and the dishwasher were such a bonus. The beds were comfortable and there were extra blankets and towels. We loved the wood stove-looking gas fireplace and enjoyed it this morning when temps dropped below freezing. Gas range in kitchen with griddle was really nice. The primary bedroom was surprisingly large. The showers had good water pressure as well. All in all, a great place we are looking forward to visiting again.

What a wonderful spot to get some R&R. Beautiful view. Great kitchen and living room area to actually hang out in. Bed was super comfortable. This cabin is close to town but super private on its own little spot next to the river and a big field looking out at the foothills and mountains. Just a great place to sit on the porch or out by the river and relax. Lynn provided a lot of amenities and communication and we felt right at home. Thanks for the stay Lynn!

We had to visit Salmon for a funeral, and Rusty’s place was the perfect spot for our family of 5 adults. Spacious, well appointed, convenient and homey - the wood stove was a huge plus. I have celiac, so a clean kitchen is important when I travel, and Rusty’s kitchen was well appointed and spotless. Great stay in a super charming little town.
